< Revelation 13 >

1 Then I saw, ‘rising out of the sea, a wild Beast with ten horns’ and seven heads. On its horns were ten diadems, and on its heads were blasphemous names.
Ac dragon el tu fin puk weacn uh. Ac nga liye kosro sulallal soko tuku inkof ah me. Oasr koac singoul ac sifa itkosr kacl; ac fin kais soko koac inge oasr kais sie tefuro kac, ac fin kais sie sifa oasr sie ine su mwe aklusrongtenye God.
2 The Beast that I saw was like a leopard; but its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth like the mouth of a lion. The Dragon gave it his power and his throne, and wide dominion.
Kosro sulallal soko uh oana luman soko leopard, ac nial oana nien bear ac oalul oana oalin lion. Ac dragon el sang ku lal sifacna nu sin kosro sulallal soko ah, wi tron lal ac wal lulap lal.
3 One of its heads seemed to me to have been mortally wounded, but its deadly wound had been healed. The whole earth followed the Beast, wondering;
Sie sin sifa ke kosro sulallal soko ah oana in ma kanteyuki in misa, tuh mahla tari kinet kacl. Ac mwet faclu nufon arulana lut sin kosro soko, ac ukwal.
4 and men worshiped the Dragon, because he had given his dominion to the Beast; while, as they worshiped the Beast, they said — ‘Who can compare with the Beast? and who can fight with it?’
Mwet nukewa alu nu sel dragon soko ah ke sripen el sang wal lal nu sin kosro sulallal soko. Elos oayapa alu nu sin kosro sulallal soko ac fahk, “Wangin sie oana kosro soko inge! Wangin mwet ku in lainul!”
5 The Beast was given ‘a mouth that spoke proudly’ and blasphemously, and it was empowered to work its will for forty-two months.
God El lela nu sin kosro soko ah in fahk kas enum mu ku lun God itukyang nu sel, ac filfilla ku se inge nu sel ke lusen malem angngaul luo.
6 It opened its mouth only to blaspheme God, to blaspheme his Name and his Tabernacle — those who dwell in his Tabernacle in Heaven.
Kosro soko ah mutawauk in selngawi God, oayapa Inen God, acn God El muta we, ac elos nukewa su muta inkusrao.
7 It had been permitted to fight with Christ’s People and to conquer them, and it had received power over men of every tribe, and people, and language, and nation.
Itukyang nu sel tuh elan mweuni mwet lun God ac kutangulosla, ac itukyang pac ku nu sel in leumi sruf nukewa, ac mutunfacl, ac kain in kas, ac tuhn nukewa faclu.
8 All who are living on earth will worship it — all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, the Lamb that has been sacrificed from the foundation of the world.
Ac mwet nukewa su muta faclu fah alu nu sel, sayalos na su simla inelos in book in moul meet liki orekla faclu, tuh book se inge ma lun Lamb su anwuki tari.
9 Let him who has ears hear.
“Kutena mwet fin oasr srac, lela elan lohng!
10 ‘Whoever is destined for captivity goes into captivity.’ Whoever shall kill with the sword must inevitably be killed with the sword. (Here there is need for endurance and faith on the part of Christ’s People.)
Kutena mwet fin ma nu ke sruoh, el ac som nu ke sruoh; kutena mwet ma ac nuna anwuki ke cutlass, ac fah anwuki el ke cutlass. Kalmac pa mwet lun God enenu in oasr muteng ac lulalfongi lalos.”
11 Then I saw, rising out of the earth, another wild Beast. It had two horns like those of a lamb, and its voice was like a dragon’s.
Na nga liye soko pac kosro sulallal sikyak faclu me. Oasr koac lukwa kacl oana koen Lamb, ac el kaskas oana soko dragon.
12 It exercises all the authority of the first Beast under its very eyes; and it makes the earth and all who are living on it worship that first Beast, whose mortal wound was healed.
El orekmakin ku lulap lun kosro sulallal soko meet ah ke el tu ye mutal. El sap ku nu sin faclu ac nu sin mwet nukewa su muta fac in alu nu sin kosro soko meet ah, su mahla tari kinet kacl.
13 It performs great marvels, even causing fire to fall from the heavens to the earth, before men’s eyes;
Kosro soko aklukwa inge oru mwenmen lulap; el oru tuh e in tuku inkusrao me nu faclu ye mutun mwet nukewa.
14 and in consequence of the marvels which it was allowed to perform under the eyes of the Beast, it is able to deceive all who are living on the earth. It bids those who live on the earth to make a statue in honour of the Beast, who, despite the wound from the sword, yet lived.
Ac el kiapwela mwet nukewa muta faclu ke mwenmen ma itukyang nu sel elan oru ye mutun kosro soko meet ah. Kosro soko ah fahk nu selos in oru sie ma sruloala in akfulatye kosro soko ma tuh kinet ke cutlass ac srakna moul.
15 It was permitted to breathe life into the image of the Beast, so that the image of the Beast might speak; and it was also permitted to cause all who refused to worship the image of the Beast to be put to death.
Ac kosro soko aklukwa ah itukyang nu sel in sang momong in moul nu ke ma sruloala se lun kosro soko meet ah, tuh elan ku in kaskas ac onelosla nukewa su tia wi alu nu ke ma sruloala sac.
16 High and low, rich and poor, freemen and slaves — it causes a brand to be put on the right hand or on the forehead of every one of them,
Kosro soko ah sap ku nu sin mwet nukewa — mwet pusisel ac mwet fulat, mwet kasrup ac mwet sukasrup, mwet kohs ac mwet sukosok — in akilenyuki lac po layot selos ku motonsrolos.
17 so that no one is able to buy or sell, except those that bear this brand — either the name of the Beast or the number indicated by the letters of his name.
Wangin mwet ku in moli ku kukakunla kutena ma, sayalos su akilenyuk ke inen kosro soko ah, ku ke nempu ma aolla inel uh.
18 (Here there is need for discernment.) Let him who has the ability compute the number of the Beast; for the number indicates a man’s name. Its number is six hundred and sixty-six.
