Luke 18
1 Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and never despair.
୧ଜିସୁ ଦିନେକ୍ ତାର୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍କେ ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ମାଙ୍ଗ୍ବାବେଲେ ନ ତାକି ପାର୍ତନା କରିକରି ରଇବାକେ, ଗଟେକ୍ କାତାନି ବୁଜାଇ କଇଲା,
2 “There was,” he said, “in a certain town a judge, who had no fear of God nor regard for man.
୨ଗଟେକ୍ ଗଡେ ଗଟେକ୍ ବିଚାର୍ କାରିଆ ଲକ୍ ରଇଲା । ସେ ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ନ ଡର୍ତେ ରଇଲା, କି ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ନ ନାମ୍ତେ ରଇଲା ।
3 In the same town there was a widow who went to him again and again, and said ‘Grant me justice against my opponent.’
୩ସେ ଗଡେ ଗଟେକ୍ ରାଣ୍ଡି ମାଇଜି ମିସା ରଇଲା । ସେ ସବୁ ବେଲେ ବିଚାର୍ କାରିଆର୍ ଲଗେ ଜାଇ ଏନ୍ତି କଇତେ ରଇଲା, ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ମର୍ ବିରଦି ଅଇଲା ଆଚେ । ଏ ବିସଇନେଇକରି ତମେ ମର୍ ବିରଦିକେ ବିଚାର କରା । ଜେନ୍ତିକି, ସେ ମକେ ନିଆଇ ଇସାବେ ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି କର୍ସି ।
4 For a time the judge refused, but afterwards he said to himself ‘Although I am without fear of God or regard for man,
୪ଏନ୍ତି ବେସି ଦିନ୍ ସେ ବିଚାର୍କାରିଆ ନିଆଇ କର୍ବାକେ ମନ୍ ନ କଲେ ମିସା, ସେ ଦିନ୍କେ ଆସି ବେମ୍ଜା କର୍ତେରଇଲା । ମାତର୍ ସେ ବିଚାର୍କାରିଆ ଲକ୍ ମନେ ମନେ ବାବ୍ଲା, “ମୁଇ ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ଡରି ନାଇକି ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ନାମି ନାଇ ।
5 yet, as this widow is so troublesome, I will grant her justice, to stop her from plaguing me with her endless visits.’”
୫ମାତର୍ ଏ ରାଣ୍ଡିମାଇଜି ସବୁ ବେଲା ଆସି ବେମ୍ଜା କଲାନି । ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ତାକେ ନିଆଇ ମିଲ୍ଲା ପାରା ବିଚାର୍ କର୍ବି । କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ଏନ୍ତି ବିଚାର୍ ନ କଲେ ସେ ସବୁଦିନ୍ ଆସି ମକେ ବେମ୍ଜା କର୍ତେ ରଇସି ।”
6 Then the Master added: “Listen to what this iniquitous judge says!
୬ତେଇ ମାପ୍ରୁ କଇଲା, “ଏ ଅନିଆଇ ବିଚାର୍କାରିଆ କାଇଟା କର୍ବାକେ ବାଚ୍ଲା, ସେଟା ତମେ ସିକା ।
7 And God — will not he see that his own People, who cry to him night and day, have justice done them — though he holds his hand?
୭ସେନ୍ତି ଲାଚୁଆଁ ବିଚାର୍କାରିଆ ସେ ରାଣ୍ଡିମାଇଜିର୍ ବିଚାର୍ କଲା । ସେନ୍ତାର୍ ଆଲେ, ତାର୍ତେଇଅନି କେତେ ନିମାନ୍ ଇସାବେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ସେ ବାଚ୍ଲା ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ଦିନ୍ରାତିର୍ ପାର୍ତନା ସୁନି ନିମାନ୍ ନିଆଇ ବିଚାର୍ କର୍ସି । ସେମନ୍କେ ସାଇଜ କର୍ବାକେ ସେ ଅଲ୍ସମ୍ ନ କରେ ।
8 He will, I tell you, have justice done them, and that soon! Yet, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”
୮ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ କଇଲିନି, ସେ ଦାପ୍ରେସେ ତାର୍ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ପାଇ ନିମାନ୍ ନିଆଇବିଚାର୍ କର୍ସି । ମାତର୍ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଟାନେଅନି ଆଇଲା ନର୍ପିଲା ମୁଇ ଆରିତରେକ୍ ଆଇବାବେଲେ ଏ ଦୁନିଆଇ, ମକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଦେକ୍ବି କି ନାଇ?”
9 Another time, speaking to people who were satisfied that they were religious, and who regarded every one else with scorn, Jesus told this parable —
୯ତେଇ ରଇଲା କେତେକ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ନିଜ୍କେ ମୁଇ ନିକ ଆଚି ବଲି ବାବିଅଇ ବିନ୍ଲକ୍କେ ଗିନ୍ କର୍ତେ ରଇଲାଇ । ସେନ୍ତି ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ବିସଇ ବୁଜାଇବାକେ ଜିସୁ ସେମନ୍କେ ଏ କାତାନି କଇଲା ।
10 “Two men went up into the Temple Courts to pray. One was a Pharisee and the other a tax-gatherer.
୧୦ଦିନେକ୍ ଦୁଇଲକ୍ ପାର୍ତନା କର୍ବାକେ ଗଟେକ୍ ମନ୍ଦିରେ ଗାଲାଇ । ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ପାରୁସି ଦଲର୍ ଲକ୍ ଆରି ଗଟେକ୍ ସିସ୍ତୁମାଙ୍ଗୁ ।
11 The Pharisee stood forward and began praying to himself in this way — ‘O God, I thank thee that I am not like other men — thieves, rogues, adulterers — or even like this tax-gatherer.
୧୧ପାରୁସି ଲକ୍ ନିଜେ ଅଲପ୍ ଦୁରିକେ ଟିଆଅଇ ଏନ୍ତି ପାର୍ତନା କର୍ବାର୍ ବସ୍ଲା, “ଏ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ ଦନିଅବାଦ୍ ଦେଲିନି । ମୁଇ ବିନ୍ଲକର୍ପାରା ଲବ୍ରା ନାଇ କି ମିଚ୍ମାୟା ନାଇ କି ବେସିଆ କାମ୍ କରି ନାଇ । ଆରି ତକେ ଜୁଆର୍ କଲିନି ମୁଇ ଏ ସିସ୍ତୁମାଙ୍ଗୁ ପାରା ନଇ ।”
12 I fast twice a week, and give a tenth of everything I get to God.’
୧୨ଆରି ସେ କଇଲା, “ମୁଇ ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ଇସାବେ ଆଟ୍କେ ଦୁଇ ଦିନ୍ ଉପାସ୍ ରଇ ପାର୍ତନା କଲିନି । କାମାଇଲାଟାନର୍ ଦସ୍ବାଗର ବାଗେକ୍ ତମ୍କେ ଦେଲିନି ।” ବଲି ପାର୍ତନା କଲା ।
13 Meanwhile the tax-gatherer stood at a distance, not venturing even ‘to raise his eyes to Heaven’; but he kept striking his breast and saying ‘O God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’
୧୩ମାତର୍ ସେ ସିସ୍ତୁମାଙ୍ଗୁ ଦୁରିକେ ଟିଆଅଇ ପାର୍ତନା କର୍ବା ବେଲେ ସରଗ୍ବାଟେ ଦେକ୍ବାକେ ମିସା ମନ୍ ନକରି ନିଜର୍ ବୁକେ ମାରିଅଇ ଏନ୍ତି ପାର୍ତନା କଲା । “ଏ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ମୁଇ ଗଟେକ୍ ପାପି ଲକ୍ ମକେ ଦୟା କରା!”
14 This man, I tell you, went home pardoned, rather than the other; for every one who exalts himself will be humbled, while every one who humbles himself shall be exalted.”
୧୪ଜିସୁ ତାର୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ସେ ଦୁଇଲକ୍ ପାର୍ତନା ସାରାଇ ବାଅଡ୍ଲାକେ, ସିସ୍ତୁମାଙ୍ଗୁସେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଦେକ୍ବା ଇସାବେ ଦରମ୍ ରଇଲା । ପାରୁସି ନାଇ । ଜେ ବଡ୍ପନ୍ ଦେକାଇ ଅଇସି ଆରି ବଡ୍ ବଲି ବାବ୍ସି, ତାକେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ସାନ୍ ଲକ୍ କର୍ସି । ମାତର୍ ଜେ ନିଜ୍କେ ସାନ୍ ଲକ୍ପାରା ବାବ୍ସି ତାକେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ବଡ୍ ଲକ୍ କର୍ସି, ଏ କାତା ଏତାଇ ରୁଆ ।”
15 Some of the people were bringing even their babies to Jesus, for him to touch them; but, when the disciples saw it, they began to find fault with those who had brought them.
୧୫ଆରି ଗଟେକ୍ ଦିନେ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତାକର୍ ସାନ୍ସାନ୍ ପିଲାମନ୍କେ “ଜିସୁ ଚି କରି ଆସିର୍ବାଦ୍ କର ।” ବଲି ଆନ୍ତେ ରଇଲାଇ । ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ସେଟା ଦେକି ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଲାଗ୍ଲାଇ ।
16 Jesus, however, called the little children to him. “Let the little children come to me,” he said, “and do not hinder them; for it is to the childlike that the Kingdom of God belongs.
୧୬ମାତର୍ ଜିସୁ ପିଲାମନ୍କେ ଲଗେ ଡାକି, ସିସ୍ମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ପିଲାମନ୍କେ ମର୍ ଲଗେ ଆନ୍ବାକେ ମନାକରା ନାଇ । କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ସରଗ୍ ରାଇଜ୍ ଏନ୍ତି ସାନ୍ ସାନ୍ ପିଲାମନର୍ ପାରା ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ବା ଲକ୍ମନର୍ପାଇସେ ।
17 I tell you, unless a man receives the Kingdom of God like a child, he will not enter it at all.”
୧୭ଏତାଇ ରୁଆ! ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ ସତ୍କାତା କଇଲିନି । କେ ମିସା ଏ ସାନ୍ଲକ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାପାରା ମକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ନ କଲେ, ସେ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ରାଇଜେ ଜାଇ ନାପାରେ ।”
18 And one of the Presidents asked Jesus this question — “Good Teacher, what must I do if I am to gain Immortal Life?” (aiōnios g166)
୧୮ଦିନେକ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଜିଉଦି ନେତା ଜିସୁକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲା, “ଏ ନିମାନ୍ ଗୁରୁ! ନ ସାର୍ବା ଜିବନ୍ ମିଲାଇବାକେ ମୁଇ କାଇଟା କର୍ବାର୍ ଆଚେ?” (aiōnios g166)
19 “Why do you call me good?” answered Jesus. “No one is good but God.
୧୯ଜିସୁ ତାକେ କଇଲା, ମକେ କାଇକେ ନିମାନ୍ ବଲି କଇଲୁସ୍ନି? କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ସେ ନିମାନ୍ ।
20 You know the commandments — ‘Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not say what is false about others, Honour thy father and thy mother.’”
୨୦ମାତର୍ ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ କଇଲିନି “ବେସିଆ କାମ୍ କରା ନାଇ, କାକେ ମରାଆ ନାଇ, ବିନ୍ ଲକର୍ ଦିନ୍ସୁ ଚରାଆ ନାଇ, ମିଚ୍ ସାକି କୁଆ ନାଇ, ଆରି ତମର ମାଆବାବାର୍ କାତା ମାନା । ପର୍ମେସର୍ ମସାକେ ଏନ୍ତି ନିୟମ୍ ଦେଲାଆଚେ ଜାନି ଆଚୁସ୍ ।”
21 “I have observed all these,” he replied, “from childhood.”
୨୧ସେ ଲକ୍ ଜିସୁକେ କଇଲା, “ଏ ସବୁ ନିୟମ୍ ତା ମୁଇ ପିଲାବେଲେ ଅନି ମାନ୍ଲିନି । ମୁଇ ଆରି କାଇଟା କର୍ବାର୍ ଆଚେ?”
22 Hearing this, Jesus said to him: “There is one thing still lacking in you; sell everything that you have, and distribute to the poor, and you shall have wealth in Heaven; then come and follow me.”
୨୨ଜିସୁ ଏଟା ସୁନି ତାକେ କଇଲା, ତର୍ଟାନେ ଆରି ଗଟେକ୍ ବିସଇ ଉନା ଆଚେ । ତର୍ ସବୁ ଦନ୍ ସଁପତି ବିକି ଗରିବ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ବାଟାକରିଦେସ୍ । ଏନ୍ତି କଲେ ତକେ ସର୍ଗେ ଦନ୍ ରଇସି । ଏଟା ସବୁ କଲା ପଚେ ତୁଇ ମର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଆଉ ।
23 But the man became greatly distressed on hearing this, for he was extremely rich.
୨୩ମାତର୍ ସେ ଲକ୍ ଏ କାତା ସୁନି ମନ୍ ଦୁକ୍ ଅଇ ଉଟିଗାଲା । କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ସେ ବେସି ସାଉକାର୍ ରଇଲା ।
24 Seeing this, Jesus said to his disciples: “How hard it is for men of wealth to enter the Kingdom of God!
୨୪ସେ ଲକ୍ ମନ୍ଦୁକ୍ ଅଇଲାଟା ଦେକି ଜିସୁ ତାର୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ସାଉକାର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ସରଗ୍ ରାଇଜେ ଜିବାଟା କେଡେ କସ୍ଟର୍ ବିସଇ!
25 It is easier, indeed, for a camel to get through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God!”
୨୫ସେ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ସରଗ୍ ରାଇଜେ ଜିବାଟାନେଅନି ଗଟେକ୍ ବଡ୍ ଜଁତ୍ ସୁଜିକାଣାବାଟେ ଚିଙ୍ଗ୍ଲି ଜିବାକେ ସଅଜ୍ ଅଇସି ।”
26 “Then who can be saved?” asked those who heard this.
୨୬ଏକାତା ସୁନ୍ତେ ରଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ କଇଲାଇ, “ଏନ୍ତି ବଇଲେ କେ ତେବେ ଉଦାର୍ ପାଇସି?”
27 But Jesus said: “What is impossible with men is possible with God.”
୨୭ଜିସୁ କଇଲା, “ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଟାନେ ନାପାର୍ଲା ବିସଇ କାଇଟା ନାଇ ।”
28 “But we,” said Peter, “we left what belonged to us and followed you.”
୨୮ପିତର୍ ଜିସୁକେ କଇଲା, “ଦେକା ଆମର୍ ଗରର୍ ସବୁ ଚାଡିକରି ତମର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଆଇଲୁଆଚୁ ।”
29 “I tell you,” he answered, “that there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, on account of the Kingdom of God,
୨୯ଜିସୁ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ଉଁ ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ ସତ୍କାତା କଇଲିନି । ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ରାଇଜ୍ ପାଇ ନିଜର୍ ଗର୍ଦୁଆର୍, ମାଇଜିପିଲା, ବାଇବଇନି, ମାଆବାବା ଆରି ପିଲାଟକିକେ ଚାଡି ଆଚେ ବଇଲେ,
31 Gathering the Twelve round him, Jesus said to them: “Listen! We are going up to Jerusalem; and there everything that is written in the Prophets will be done to the Son of Man.
୩୧ତାର୍ ପଚେ ଜିସୁ ତାର୍ ବାର୍ଟା ସିସ୍ମନ୍କେ ବିନେ ଡାକିନେଇ କଇଲା, “ସୁନା! ଆମେ ଜିରୁସାଲମେ ଗାଲୁନି, ଜନ୍ବେଲା ଆମେ କେଟ୍ବୁ ସେବେଲା ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଟାନେଅନି ଆଇଲା ନର୍ପିଲା, ମର୍ ବିସଇ ନେଇ ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତାମନ୍ ଲେକି ରଇଲା ସବୁ ବିସଇ ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ଅଇସି ।
32 For he will be given up to the Gentiles, mocked, insulted and spat upon;
୩୨ସେଟା କାଇଟା ବଇଲେ, ଜିରୁସାଲମେ ମକେ ରମିୟ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ସର୍ପିଦେବାଇ ଆରି ସେମନ୍ ମକେ କିଜାଇବାଇ ଆରି ଲାଜ୍ କରାଇ, ମର୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ତୁକ୍ବାଇ ।
33 they will scourge him, and then put him to death; and on the third day he will rise again.”
୩୩ତାର୍ପଚେ କର୍ଡା ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମାର୍ବାଇ, ପଚେ ମକେ ମରାଇବାଇ । ମାତର୍ ତିନ୍ଦିନ୍ ପଚେ ମୁଇ ଆରି ତରେକ୍ ଜିବନ୍ ଅଇ ଉଟ୍ବି ।”
34 The Apostles did not comprehend any of this; his meaning was unintelligible to them, and they did not understand what he was saying.
୩୪ମାତର୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ଏ ସବୁ କାତା ଅଲପ୍ ମିସା ବୁଜିନାପାର୍ଲାଇ, ସେ ବିସଇ ସେମନର୍ଟାନେଅନି ଲୁଚିରଇଲା ।
35 As Jesus was getting near Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road-side, begging.
୩୫ଜିସୁ ଜିରିଅ ଗଡେ କେଟାକେଟି ଅଇଲାବେଲେ ଗଟେକ୍ କାଣା ବାଟ୍ପାଲି ବସି ବିକ୍ ମାଙ୍ଗ୍ତେ ରଇଲା ।
36 Hearing a crowd going by, the man asked what was the matter;
୩୬ଜିସୁର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଜିବା ଲକର୍ କାତା ସୁନି, “ଏଟା କାଇଟା ଅଇଲାନି?” ବଲି ତେଇ ରଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ପାଚାର୍ଲା ।
37 and, when people told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing,
୩୭ସେ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ କାଣାକେ କଇଲାଇ, “ନାଜରିତ୍ ଗାଉଁର୍ ଜିସୁ ଏ ବାଟେ ଗାଲାନି ।”
38 he shouted out: “Jesus, Son of David, take pity on me!”
୩୮ତେଇ ସେ ଆଉଲିଅଇ କଇଲା, “ଏ ଦାଉଦ୍ ରାଜାର୍ କୁଟୁମର୍ ପିଲା ଜିସୁ! ତମେ ମକେ ଦୟା କରା ।”
39 Those who were in front kept telling him to be quiet, but he continued to call out the louder: “Son of David, take pity on me!”
୩୯ଆଗେ ଜିବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ କାଣାକେ ଦମ୍କାଇ କରି ଚୁପ୍ଅଇ ରଇବାକେ କଇଲାଇ । ମାତର୍ ସେ ଅଦିକ୍ ଅଦିକ୍ ଆଉଲି ଅଇ “ଏ ଦାଉଦ୍ ରାଜାର୍ କୁଟୁମର୍ ପିଲା ଜିସୁ! ମକେ ଦୟା କରା!” ବଲି କଇଲା ।
40 Then Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. And, when he had come close up to him, Jesus asked him:
୪୦ଜିସୁ ତାର୍ କାତା ସୁନି ଟିଆ ଅଇଲା ଆରି, “ତାକେ ମର୍ ଲଗେ ଆନା” ବଲି ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଲା ।
41 “What do you want me to do for you?” “Master,” he said, “I want to recover my sight.”
୪୧କାଣା ବିକାରି ଜିସୁର୍ ଲଗେ ଆଇଲାଜେ, ଜିସୁ ତାକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲା, “ମୁଇ ତର୍ପାଇ କାଇଟା କର୍ବି ବଲି ମନ୍ କଲୁସ୍ନି?” ସେ ଜିସୁକେ “ଏ ମାପ୍ରୁ, ମକେ ଦେକ୍ବା ବପୁ ଦିଆ । ସେନ୍ତି ମକେ ନିମାନ୍ କରିଦେ ।” ବଲି କଇଲା ।
42 And Jesus said: “Recover your sight, your faith has delivered you.”
୪୨ତେବେ ଜିସୁ ତାକେ କଇଲା, “ତୁଇ ଦେକ୍ବାକେ ପାଆ! ମୁଇ ତର୍ ଆଁକି ନିକ କର୍ବି କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ, ତୁଇ ମର୍ତେଇ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରି ଆଚୁସ୍ ।”
43 Instantly he recovered his sight, and began to follow Jesus, praising God. And all the people, on seeing it, gave glory to God.
୪୩ସେ ଦାପ୍ରେ, ସେ କାଣା ଦେକି ପାର୍ଲା । ଆରି ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ଦନିଅବାଦ୍ କରିକରି ଜିସୁର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଗାଲା । ଏ ଗଟ୍ନା ଦେକ୍ଲା ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଡାକ୍ପୁଟା କଲାଇ ।
