John 1
1 In the Beginning the Word was; and the Word was with God; and the Word was God.
ಆದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಕ್ಯವಿತ್ತು, ಆ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ದೇವರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು, ಆ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ದೇವರಾಗಿತ್ತು.
2 He was in the Beginning with God;
ಆ ವಾಕ್ಯವೆಂಬುವವರು ಆದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು.
3 through him all things came into being, and nothing came into being apart from him.
ಆ ವಾಕ್ಯವೆಂಬುವವರ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿಯೇ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೂ ಅವರಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
4 That which came into being in him was Life; and the Life was the Light of Man;
ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವವಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಜೀವವು ಮಾನವರಿಗೆ ಬೆಳಕಾಗಿತ್ತು.
5 and the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness never overpowered it.
ಆ ಬೆಳಕು ಕತ್ತಲಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಕತ್ತಲೆಯು ಆ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಅಡಗಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
6 There appeared a man sent from God, whose name was John;
ದೇವರು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನ ಹೆಸರು ಯೋಹಾನನು.
7 he came as a witness — to bear witness to the Light that through him all men might believe.
ತನ್ನ ಮೂಲಕ ಎಲ್ಲರು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿಡುವಂತೆ ಅವನು ಆ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೊಡಲು ಯೋಹಾನನು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಂದನು.
8 He was not the Light, but he came to bear witness to the Light.
ಅವನೇ ಆ ಬೆಳಕಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಂದನಷ್ಟೇ.
9 That was the True Light which enlightens every man coming into the world.
ನಿಜ ಬೆಳಕು ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವುದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಬೆಳಕೇ ಪ್ರತಿ ಮಾನವನಿಗೂ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ನೀಡುವುದಾಗಿತ್ತು.
10 He was in the world; and through him the world came into being — yet the world did not know him.
ಆ ವಾಕ್ಯವೆಂಬುವವರು ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಲೋಕವು ಅವರ ಮೂಲಕ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ಆದರೂ ಲೋಕವು ಅವರ ಗುರುತು ಹಿಡಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
11 He came to his own — yet his own did not receive him.
ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಆದರೆ ಸ್ವಜನರೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
12 But to all who did receive him he gave power to become Children of God — to those who believe in his Name.
ಆದರೂ ಯಾರಾರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರೋ, ಅಂದರೆ ಅವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿಟ್ಟರೋ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ದೇವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
13 For not to natural conception, nor to human instincts, nor to will of man did they owe the new Life, but to God.
ಇವರು ರಕ್ತಸಂಬಂಧದಿಂದಾಗಲಿ, ದೈಹಿಕ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದಾಗಲಿ, ಪುರುಷನ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದಾಗಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರಲ್ಲ, ದೇವರಿಂದಲೇ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರು.
14 And the Word became Man, and dwelt among us, (We saw his glory — the glory of the Only Son sent from the Father), full of love and truth.
ವಾಕ್ಯವೆಂಬುವವರು ದೇಹಧಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದರು. ನಾವು ಅವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆವು. ಆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯು ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಏಕೈಕ ಪುತ್ರ ಆಗಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಇರತಕ್ಕ ಮಹಿಮೆ. ಆ ವಾಕ್ಯವೆಂಬುವವರು ಕೃಪೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಸತ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ತುಂಬಿದವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
15 (John bears witness to him; he cried aloud — for it was he who spoke — “‘He who is Coming’ after me is now before me, for he was ever first”);
“ಅವರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಯೋಹಾನನು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾ, ‘ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಕ ಬರುವವರು ನನಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲೇ ಇದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ನನಗಿಂತಲೂ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರು’ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದವರು ಇವರೇ,” ಎಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದನು.
16 out of his fullness we have all received some gift, gift after gift of love;
ಅವರ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣತೆಯಿಂದ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೃಪೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದೆವು.
17 for the Law was given through Moses, love and truth came through Jesus Christ.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಯಮವು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಕೃಪೆಯೂ ಸತ್ಯವೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮೂಲಕ ಬಂದವು.
18 No man has ever yet seen God; God the Only Son, who is ever with the Father — He has revealed him.
ದೇವರನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಎಂದೂ ಕಂಡಿಲ್ಲ; ತಂದೆ ದೇವರ ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಗಿರುವ ಏಕೈಕ ಪುತ್ರ ಆಗಿರುವವರೂ ಸ್ವತಃ ದೇವರೂ ಆಗಿರುವವರೂ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
19 When the Jews sent some Priests and Levites to John from Jerusalem, to ask — “Who are you?”, his statement was this:
ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯ ನಾಯಕರು, ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ಯೋಹಾನನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, “ನೀನು ಯಾರು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
20 He confessed and did not deny it, he confessed — “I am not the Christ.”
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಹಾನನು, “ನಾನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಅರಿಕೆಮಾಡಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
21 “What then?” they asked. “Are you Elijah?” “No,” he said, “I am not.” “Are you ‘the Prophet’?” He answered, “No.”
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು, “ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನೀನು ಎಲೀಯನೋ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು, “ನಾನು ಎಲೀಯನಲ್ಲ.” “ನೀನು ಆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೋ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು, “ಅಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದನು.
22 “Who then are you?” they continued; “tell us, that we may have some answer to give to those who have sent us. What do you say about yourself?”
ಅವರು, “ನೀನು ಯಾರು? ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದವರಿಗೆ ನಾವು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಏನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
23 “I,” he answered, “am — ‘The voice of one crying aloud in the Wilderness — “straighten the way of the Lord”’, as the Prophet Isaiah said.”
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಹಾನನು, “ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ, ‘ಕರ್ತದೇವರ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿರಿ,’ ಎಂದು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಗುವ ಸ್ವರವೇ ನಾನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
24 These men had been sent from the Pharisees;
ಬಂದಿದ್ದವರು ಫರಿಸಾಯರ ಕಡೆಯವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
25 and their next question was: “Why then do you baptize, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor yet ‘the Prophet’?”
ಅವರು ಯೋಹಾನನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಎಲೀಯನಾಗಲಿ, ಆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾಗಲಿ ಆಗಿರದಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀನು ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಕೊಡುವುದೇಕೆ?” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದರು.
26 John’s answer was — “I baptize with water, but among you stands one whom you do not know;
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಹಾನನು, “ನಾನು ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಅರಿಯದ ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಡುವೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.
27 he is coming after me, yet I am not worthy even to unfasten his sandal.”
ಅವರೇ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಕ ಬರುವವರು. ಅವರ ಪಾದರಕ್ಷೆಗಳ ದಾರವನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾನು ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
28 All this took place at Bethany, across the Jordan, where John was then baptizing.
ಇದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೋಹಾನನು ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯ ಆಚೆಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೇಥಾನ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
29 The next day John saw Jesus coming towards him, and exclaimed: “Here is the Lamb of God, who is to take away the sin of the world!
ಮರುದಿನ ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಯೋಹಾನನು ಕಂಡು, “ಇಗೋ, ಲೋಕದ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವ ದೇವರ ಕುರಿಮರಿ,
30 It was of him that I spoke when I said ‘After me there is coming a man who is now before me, for he was ever First.’
‘ನನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ಬರುವವರು ನನಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲೇ ಇದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ನನಗಿಂತಲೂ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರು,’ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದವರು ಇವರೇ.
31 I myself did not know him, but, that he may be made known to Israel, I have come, baptizing with water.”
ನನಗೂ ಇವರ ಗುರುತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಇವರನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಪಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೊಸ್ಕರ ನಾನು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
32 John also made this statement — “I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of the heavens, and it remained upon him.
ಯೋಹಾನನು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಟ್ಟು, “ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮರು ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಪಾರಿವಾಳದಂತೆ ಇಳಿದುಬಂದು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕಂಡೆನು.
33 I myself did not know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water, he said to me ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining upon him — he it is who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
ನನಗೂ ಅವರ ಗುರುತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸಲು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದವರು, ‘ಯಾರ ಮೇಲೆ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮರು ಇಳಿದುಬಂದು ನೆಲೆಸುವುದನ್ನು ನೀನು ನೋಡುವಿಯೋ ಅವರೇ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮರಿಂದ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸುವವರು,’ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
34 This I have seen myself, and I have declared my belief that he is the Son of God.”
ಈಗ ನಾನು ಕಂಡು, ಇವರೇ ದೇವರ ಪುತ್ರರು ಎಂದು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
35 The next day, when John was standing with two of his disciples,
ಮರುದಿನ ಯೋಹಾನನು ಪುನಃ ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.
36 he looked at Jesus as he passed and exclaimed: “There is the Lamb of God!”
ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅವನು, “ಇಗೋ, ದೇವರ ಕುರಿಮರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
37 The two disciples heard him say this, and followed Jesus.
ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಅವನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದರು.
38 But Jesus turned round, and saw them following. “What are you looking for?” he asked. “Rabbi,” they answered (or, as we should say, ‘Teacher’), “where are you staying?”
ಯೇಸು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, “ನಿಮಗೆ ಏನು ಬೇಕು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು, ಅವರು, “ಬೋಧಕರೇ, ನೀವು ವಾಸಿಸುವುದು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
39 “Come, and you shall see,” he replied. So they went, and saw where he was staying, and spent that day with him. It was then about four in the afternoon.
ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಬಂದು ನೋಡಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು, ಅವರು ಹೋಗಿ ಯೇಸು ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಆ ದಿವಸ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದರು. ಆಗ ಸಂಜೆ ಸುಮಾರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಗಂಟೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.
40 One of the two, who heard what John said and followed Jesus, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.
ಯೋಹಾನನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದ ಇಬ್ಬರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀಮೋನ್ ಪೇತ್ರನ ಸಹೋದರ ಅಂದ್ರೆಯನು ಒಬ್ಬನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
41 He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him: “We have found the Messiah!” (a word which means ‘Christ,’ or ‘Consecrated’.)
ಅಂದ್ರೆಯನು ಮೊದಲು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರ ಸೀಮೋನನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, “ನಾವು ಮೆಸ್ಸೀಯ ಆಗಿರುವವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆವು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ,
42 Then he brought him to Jesus. Fixing his eyes on him, Jesus said: “You are Simon, the son of John; you shall be called Kephas” (which means ‘Peter,’ or ‘Rock’).
ಅವನನ್ನು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆತಂದನು. “ಮೆಸ್ಸೀಯ” ಎಂದರೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಎಂದು ಅರ್ಥ. ಯೇಸು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, “ನೀನು ಯೋಹಾನನ ಮಗ ಸೀಮೋನನು. ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ‘ಕೇಫ’ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುವರು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. “ಕೇಫ” ಎಂದರೆ ಪೇತ್ರ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಬಂಡೆ ಎಂದರ್ಥ.
43 The following day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. He found Philip, and said to him: “Follow me.”
ಯೇಸು ಮರುದಿನ ಗಲಿಲಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಅವರು ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, “ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸು,” ಎಂದರು.
44 Philip was from Bethsaida, and a fellow-townsman of Andrew and Peter.
ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನು, ಅಂದ್ರೆಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪೇತ್ರನ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದ ಬೇತ್ಸಾಯಿದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದವನು.
45 He found Nathanael and said to him: “We have found him of whom Moses wrote in the Law, and of whom the Prophets also wrote — Jesus of Nazareth, Joseph’s son!”
ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನು ನತಾನಯೇಲನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, “ಮೋಶೆಯ ನಿಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದವರೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳೂ ಯಾರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೋ ಅವರು ನಮಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರೇ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಪುತ್ರರಾಗಿರುವ ನಜರೇತಿನ ಯೇಸು,” ಎಂದನು.
46 “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” asked Nathanael. “Come and see,” replied Philip.
“ಏನು? ನಜರೇತಿನಿಂದ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೇನಾದರೂ ಬರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೋ?” ಎಂದು ನತಾನಯೇಲನು ಕೇಳಲು, “ಬಂದು ನೋಡು,” ಎಂದು ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
47 When Jesus saw Nathanael coming towards him, he said: “Here is a true Israelite, in whom there is no deceit!”
ನತಾನಯೇಲನು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವುದನ್ನು ಯೇಸು ಕಂಡು ಅವನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ, “ಇವನು ನಿಜವಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು, ಇವನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಪಟವಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
48 “How do you know me?” asked Nathanael. “Even before Philip called you,” replied Jesus, “when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನತಾನಯೇಲನು, “ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಬಲ್ಲಿರಿ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು, ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆಯೇ ನೀನು ಅಂಜೂರದ ಮರದ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕಂಡೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.
49 “Rabbi,” Nathanael exclaimed, “you are the Son of God, you are King of Israel!”
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನತಾನಯೇಲನು, “ಗುರುವೇ, ನೀವು ದೇವಪುತ್ರ; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸ ನೀವೇ,” ಎಂದನು.
50 “Do you believe in me,” asked Jesus, “because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree? You shall see greater things than those!
ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಂಜೂರದ ಮರದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೆ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀನು ನಂಬುತ್ತೀಯೋ? ನೀನು ಇವುಗಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಮಹಾಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವೆ,” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.
51 In truth I tell you,” he added, “you shall all see Heaven open, and ‘the angels of God ascending and descending’ upon the Son of Man.”
ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ನೀವು ಪರಲೋಕವು ತೆರೆದಿರುವುದನ್ನೂ ದೇವದೂತರು ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಇಳಿಯುತ್ತಾ ಏರುತ್ತಾ ಇರುವುದನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣುವಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
