John 2
1 Two days after this there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and Jesus’ mother was there.
୧ଦୁଇ ଦିନ୍ ପଚେ ଗାଲିଲି ଦେସର୍ କାନା ନାଉଁର୍ ଗଡେ ଗଟେକ୍ ବିବା ଅଇତେ ରଇଲା । ସେ ବିବାତେଇ ଜିସୁର୍ ମାଆ ମରିୟମ୍ ରଇଲା ।
2 Jesus himself, too, with his disciples, was invited to the wedding.
୨ଜିସୁ ଆରି ତାର୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍କେ ମିସା ସେ ବିବାତେଇ ଡାକି ରଇଲାଇ ।
3 And, when the wine ran short, his mother said to him: “They have no wine left.”
୩ବଜି ନ ସାର୍ତେ ଅଙ୍ଗୁର୍ ରସ୍ ସାରିଗାଲାକେ ଜିସୁର୍ ମାଆ ଆସି ତାକେ କଇଲା, “ସେମନର୍ ଅଙ୍ଗୁର୍ ରସ୍ ସାରିଗାଲାବେ ।”
4 “What do you want with me?” answered Jesus. “My time has not come yet.”
୪ଜିସୁ ତାକେ କଇଲା, “ଏ ମାଆ, ମର୍ଟାନେ ତର୍ କାଇଟା ଆଚେ? ତୁଇ ମକେ କାଇଟା ମିସା କର୍ବାକେ କଅ ନାଇ । ମର୍ ବେଲା ଏବେ ଜାକ ଆସେ ନାଇତା ।”
5 His mother said to the servants: “Do whatever he tells you.”
୫ଜିସୁର୍ ମା ବାଣ୍ଡାର୍ଗରିଆମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ଜିସୁ ତମ୍କେ ଜାଇଟା କଇସି ସେଟା କରା ।”
6 There were standing there six stone water-jars, in accordance with the Jewish rule of ‘purification,’ each holding twenty or thirty gallons.
୬ସେ ଜାଗାଇ ବଡ୍ ବଡ୍ ପାକ୍ନା ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ତିଆର୍ କଲା ଚଅଟା କୁଣ୍ଡ୍ ରଇଲା । ଜିଉଦି ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ସୁକଲ୍ ଅଇବାକେ ସେମନର୍ ରିତିନିତି ଇସାବେ ଏ କୁଣ୍ଡର୍ ପାନି କାମେ ଲାଗାଇତେ ରଇଲାଇ । ଗଟେକ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ କୁଣ୍ଡେ ସଏ ଲିଟର୍ ଲାକା ପାନି ଦାର୍ତେ ରଇଲା ।
7 Jesus said to the servants: “Fill the water-jars with water.”
୭ଜିସୁ ବାଣ୍ଡାର୍ଗରିଆମନ୍କେ “ସେ କୁଣ୍ଡ୍ମନ୍କେ ପାନି ବର୍ତି କରା” ବଲି କଇଲା ଆରି ସେମନ୍ ସେ ସବୁ କୁଣ୍ଡେ ପାନି ବର୍ତି କଲାଇ ।
8 And, when they had filled them to the brim, he added: “Now take some out, and carry it to the Master of the Feast.” The servants did so.
୮ତାର୍ ପଚେ ଜିସୁ ସେମନ୍କେ ତେଇର୍ ପାନି ଡୁମିନେଇ ବଜି ଦାଇତେ ରଇଲା ଲକ୍କେ ଦିଆସ୍ ବଲି କଇଲା । ସେମନ୍ ତେଇର୍ ପାନି ଡୁମି ନେଇ ତାକେ ଦେଲାଇ ।
9 And, when the Master of the Feast had tasted the water which had now become wine, not knowing where it had come from — although the servants who had taken out the water knew —
୯ମାତର୍ ସେ ସବୁ ପାନି ଅଙ୍ଗୁର୍ ରସ୍ ଅଇଜାଇରଇଲା । ବଜି ଦାଇତେ ରଇଲା ଲକ୍ ଅଙ୍ଗୁର୍ ରସ୍ କନ୍ତିଅନି ବଲି ଜାନି ନ ରଇଲା । ମାତର୍ ସେ ପାନି ଡୁମି ନେଲା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଜାନି ରଇଲାଇ, ପଚେ ସେ ଲକ୍ ଚାକି କରି ଏ ରସ୍ କନ୍ତିଅନି ଆନ୍ଲାଇ ବଲି ବିବା ଅଇବା ଦାଙ୍ଗ୍ଡାକେ ଡାକି ପାଚାର୍ଲା,
10 He called the bridegroom and said to him: “Every one puts good wine on the table first, and inferior wine afterwards, when his guests have drunk freely; but you have kept back the good wine till now!”
୧୦“ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ସବୁ ବେଲା ପର୍ତୁମ୍ ପର୍ତୁମ୍ କାଇବାକେ ନିମାନ୍ ଅଙ୍ଗୁର୍ ରସ୍ ଦେବାଇ । ଆରି ଗତିଆ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ କାଇ ପୁରୁନ୍ ଅଇଲା ପଚେ ଚପ୍ରାଟା ଦେବାଇ । ମାତର୍ ତମେ ଏବେ ସାରାସାରି ଜାକ ନିମାନ୍ ଅଙ୍ଗୁର୍ ରସ୍ କନ୍ତି ସଙ୍ଗଇ ରଇଲାସ୍?”
11 This, the first sign of his mission, Jesus gave at Cana in Galilee, and by it revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
୧୧ଏଟା ଜିସୁ ପର୍ତୁମ୍ କଲା କାବାଅଇଜିବା କାମ୍ । ସେଟା ଗାଲିଲି ଦେସର୍ କାନା ନଅରେ କରିରଇଲା । ଏନ୍ତି କରି ତାର୍ ମଇମା ଦେକାଇଲା ଆରି ତାର୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ତାକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାଇ ।
12 After this, Jesus went down to Capernaum — he, his mother, his brothers, and his disciples; but they stayed there only a few days.
୧୨ତାର୍ ପଚେ ଜିସୁ, ତାର୍ ମାଆ ତାର୍ ବାଇମନ୍ ଆରି ତାର୍ ସିସ୍ମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ କପର୍ନାଉମ୍ ଗଡେ ଜାଇ ତେଇ କେତେ ଦିନ୍ ପାରା ରଇଲାଇ ।
13 Then, as the Jewish Passover was near, Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
୧୩ସେ ବେଲା ଜିଉଦି ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ନିସ୍ତାର୍ ପରବ୍ କେଟି ଆଇତେ ରଇଲା । ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ଜିସୁ ଜିରୁସାଲମେ ଗାଲା ।
14 In the Temple Courts he found people who were selling bullocks, sheep, and pigeons, and the money-changers at their counters.
୧୪ତେଇ ସେ ମନ୍ଦିର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ, ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଗରୁଗାଇ ମେଣ୍ଡା, ଆରି ପାରୁଆମନ୍ ବେବାର୍ କର୍ବାଟା, ଆରି ବିନ୍ ଦେସର୍ ଡାବୁ ବାଦ୍ଲାଉମନ୍ ସେମନର୍ ଟେବୁଲେ ବସିରଇଲାଟା ଦେକ୍ଲା ।
15 So he made a whip of cords, and drove them all out of the Temple Courts, and the sheep and bullocks as well; he scattered the money of the money-changers, and overturned their tables,
୧୫ତେଇ ଜିସୁ କସିରା ସଙ୍ଗ୍ କର୍ଡା ତିଆର୍ କରି ମେଣ୍ଡା ଆରି ଗରୁମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ମନ୍ଦିରେଅନି ବାର୍କରାଇ ଦେଲା । ଆରି ଲକ୍ମନର୍ତେଇ ଅନି ବାଦ୍ଲାଇ ନେବା ଡାବୁ ସବୁ ବିଚିଦେଇ ସେମନର୍ ଟେବୁଲ୍ ପାସ୍ଲାଇ ଦେଲା ।
16 and said to the pigeon-dealers: “Take these things away. Do not turn my Father’s House into a market-house.”
୧୬ପରୁଆ ବିକ୍ବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ଏ ସବୁ ଦିନ୍ସୁ ଇତିଅନି ଦାରିଜା । ମର୍ ବାବାର୍ ଗରେ ଗେନା ବିକା ଜାଗା ପାରା କରାନାଇ ।”
17 His disciples remembered that Scripture said — ‘Zeal for thy House will consume me.’
୧୭ଏ ସବୁ ଗଟ୍ନା ଅଇବାବେଲେ ଜିସୁର୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ସାସ୍ତରେ ଲେକାଅଇଲା ଗଟେକ୍ ବାକିଅ ଏତାଇଲାଇ । ତମର୍ ଗରର୍ ପାଇ ରଇବା ମର୍ ବକ୍ତି, ମର୍ ମନ୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଜଇ ଲାଗ୍ଲା ପାରା ଲାଗ୍ଲାନି ।
18 Upon this the Jews asked Jesus: “What sign are you going to show us, since you act in this way?”
୧୮ତେଇ ଜିଉଦି ନେତାମନ୍ ଜିସୁର୍ ଲଗେ ବାଉଡି ଆସି ଏନ୍ତାରି କଇଲାଇ । “ତୁଇ ଏନ୍ତାରି ସବୁ କାମ୍ କର୍ବାକେ ଅଦିକାର୍ ପାଇଆଚୁସ୍ ବଲି ଆମେ କେନ୍ତି ଜାନ୍ବୁ ଆରି କାଇ ଚିନର୍ଲାଗି ଆମ୍କେ ସେଟା ଦେକାଇଲୁସ୍ନି?”
19 “Destroy this temple,” was his answer, “and I will raise it in three days.”
୧୯ଜିସୁ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ତମେ ଏ ମନ୍ଦିର୍ ବସ୍ଲାଇ ଦିଆସ୍ । ସେଟା ମୁଇ ତିନ୍ଦିନ୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଆରିତରେକ୍ ତିଆର୍ କରିଦେବି ।”
20 “This Temple,” replied the Jews, “has been forty-six years in building, and are you going to ‘raise it in three days’?”
୨୦ଜିସୁର୍ ଏ କାତା ସୁନି ସେମନ୍ କଇଲାଇ, “କାଇଟା! ତିନ୍ଦିନ୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ତୁଇ ତିଆର୍ କରି ପାରୁସ୍ କି? ଏ ମନ୍ଦିର୍ ତିଆର୍ କର୍ବାକେ ଚାଲିସ୍ ଚଅ ବରସ୍ ଲାଗିରଇଲା ।”
21 But Jesus was speaking of his body as a temple.
୨୧ମାତର୍ ଜିସୁ ତାର୍ ନିଜର୍ ଗାଗଡର୍ ବିସଇ ମନ୍ଦିର୍କେ ଦେକାଇ କରି ଏ କାତା କଇରଇଲା ।
22 Afterwards, when he had risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this; and they believed the passage of Scripture, and the words which Jesus had spoken.
୨୨ସେ ମରିକରି ଆରିତରେକ୍ ଜିବନ୍ ଅଇ ଉଟ୍ଲା ପଚେ ସିସ୍ମନର୍ ମନେ ପଡ୍ଲା ଜେ, ସେ ଏନ୍ତାରି କଇରଇଲା । ତେବର୍ପାଇ ସେମନ୍ ଦରମ୍ ସାସ୍ତର୍ ଆରି ଜିସୁର୍ ବାକିଅ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାଇ ।
23 While Jesus was in Jerusalem, during the Passover Festival, many came to trust in him, when they saw the signs of his mission that he was giving.
୨୩ନିସ୍ତାର୍ ପରବ୍ବେଲେ ଜିସୁ ଜିରୁସାଲାମ୍ ରଇଲାବେଲେ କେତେକ୍ କେତେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ସେ କରିରଇବା କାବା ଅଇଜିବା କାମ୍ମନ୍ କଲାଟା ଦେକି ତାକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାଇ ।
24 But Jesus did not trust himself to them, since he could read every heart,
୨୪ମାତର୍ ଜିସୁ ସେ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରିରଇବାଟା ସତ୍ବଲି ବାବେନାଇ । କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ସେ ସବୁ ଲକର୍ ବିସଇ ସେ ନିକସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଜାନି ରଇଲା ।
25 and because he did not need that others should tell him what men were; for he could of himself read what was in men.
୨୫ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ବିସଇନେଇକରି ତାକେ, କେ ମିସା କାଇଟାବଲି କଇବାର୍ ଦର୍କାର୍ ନ ରଇଲା, କାଇକେବଇଲେ ସେ ତାକର୍ ମନ୍ ବିତ୍ରର୍ କାତା, ନିଜେ ଜାନି ରଇଲା ।
