John 10
1 In truth I tell you, whoever does not go into the sheepfold through the door, but climbs up at some other place, that man is a thief and a robber;
১যীচুৱে ক’লে, “মই সঁচাকৈ আপোনালোকক কওঁ, যি জনে মেৰৰ গৰাললৈ সোমাওঁতে দুৱাৰেদি নোসোমায়, কিন্তু তাৰ পৰিৱর্তে আন কোনো ফালে বগাই সোমায়, সি এটা চোৰ আৰু ডকাইত।
2 but the man who goes in through the door is shepherd to the sheep.
২যি জনে দুৱাৰেদি সোমায়, তেওঁ মেৰৰখীয়া।
3 For him the watchman opens the door; and the sheep listen to his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.
৩দ্বাৰ-ৰক্ষকে মেৰৰখীয়াক দুৱাৰ মেলি দিয়ে। মেৰবোৰে তেওঁৰ মাত শুনে আৰু তেওঁ নিজৰ মেষবোৰক নাম ধৰি ধৰি মাতি বাহিৰলৈ লৈ যায়।
4 When he has brought them all out, he walks in front of them, and his sheep follow him, because they know his voice.
৪নিজৰ সকলো মেষক বাহিৰ কৰাৰ পাছত তেওঁ মেৰবোৰৰ আগে আগে যায় আৰু মেষবোৰ তেওঁৰ পাছে পছে গৈ থাকে, কিয়নো সিহঁতে তেওঁৰ মাত বুজি পায়।
5 They will not follow a stranger, but will run away from him; because they do not know a stranger’s voice.”
৫সিহঁতে এজন অচিনাকি লোকৰ পাছত কেতিয়াও নাযাব, বৰং সিহঁত তেওঁৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা পলাইহে যাব। কাৰণ সিহঁতে অচিনাকি লোকৰ মাত চিনি নাপায়।
6 This was the allegory that Jesus told them, but they did not understand of what he was speaking.
৬যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক এই দৃষ্টান্তটো ক’লে; কিন্তু তেওঁ যে কি কব বিচাৰিছে, সেই বিষয়ে তেওঁলোকে নুবুজিলে।
7 So he continued: “In truth I tell you, I am the Door for the sheep.
৭তেতিয়া যীচুৱে পুনৰ তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “মই আপোনালোকক সঁচাই কওঁ, ময়েই মেৰৰ গৰালৰ দুৱাৰ।
8 All who came before me were thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not listen to them.
৮মোৰ আগেয়ে যি সকল আহিল, তেওঁলোক সকলোৱেই চোৰ আৰু ডকাইত; কিন্তু মেৰবোৰে সিহঁতৰ কথা নুশুনিলে।
9 I am the Door; he who goes in through me will be safe, and he will go in and out and find pasture.
৯ময়েই দুৱাৰ; যি কোনোৱে মোৰ মাজেদি সোমায়, তেওঁ ৰক্ষা পাব। তেওঁ ভিতৰলৈ আৰু বাহিৰলৈ অহা-যোৱা কৰিব, আৰু চৰণীয়া ঠাই পাব।
10 The thief comes only to steal, to kill, and to destroy; I have come that they may have Life, and may have it in greater fullness.
১০চোৰে কেৱল চুৰ, বধ, আৰু বিনাশ কৰিবলৈহে আহে; কিন্তু মই হ’লে, তেওঁলোকে যেন জীৱন পায় আৰু তাকেই যেন প্ৰচুৰকৈ পায়, এই কাৰণে আহিলোঁ।
11 I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down his life for his sheep.
১১ময়েই সজ মেষৰখীয়া; সজ মেৰৰখীয়াই তেওঁৰ মেৰৰ কাৰণে নিজৰ প্ৰাণকো দিয়ে।
12 The hired man who is not a shepherd, and who does not own the sheep, when he sees a wolf coming, leaves them and runs away; then the wolf seizes them, and scatters the flock.
১২কিন্তু এজন বেতনভোগী দাস, তেওঁ নিজে মেৰৰখীয়া নহয় আৰু মেৰবোৰ তেওঁৰ নিজৰ নহয়; সেই বাবে তেওঁ যেতিয়া ৰাংকুকুৰ অহা দেখে, মেৰবোৰ এৰি পলাই যায়; তাতে ৰাংকুকুৰে সিহঁতক ধৰি লৈ যায় আৰু সিহঁত চাৰিওফালে ছিন্ন-ভিন্ন হৈ পৰে।
13 He does this because he is only a hired man and does not care about the sheep.
১৩এজন বেতনভোগী দাস হোৱাৰ কাৰণে তেওঁ পলাই যায়; মেৰবোৰলৈ তেওঁৰ কোনো চিন্তা নাথাকে।
14 I am the Good Shepherd; and I know my sheep, and my sheep know me —
১৪ময়েই সজ মেষৰখীয়া; মই নিজৰ মেষবোৰক জানো আৰু মোৰ মেষবোৰেও মোক জানে;
15 Just as the Father knows me and I know the Father — and I lay down my life for the sheep.
১৫পিতৃয়ে মোক জানে আৰু ময়ো পিতৃক জানো। মই মোৰ মেৰৰ বাবে নিজৰ প্ৰাণকো দিওঁ।
16 I have other sheep besides, which do not belong to this fold; I must lead them also, and they will listen to my voice; and they shall become one flock under ‘one Shepherd.’
১৬মোৰ এনে অনেক মেৰ আছে, যি এই গৰালৰ নহয়। মই অৱশ্যেই সিহঁতক আনিব লাগে। সিহঁতেও মোৰ মাত শুনিব আৰু তেতিয়া সকলো একেটা জাক হ’ব আৰু সিহঁতৰ ৰখীয়াও হ’ব এজন।
17 This is why the Father loves me, because I lay down my life — to receive it again.
১৭পিতৃয়ে মোক এই বাবেই প্ৰেম কৰে; কাৰণ মই নিজৰ প্ৰাণ সমর্পণ কৰোঁ যাতে সেই প্ৰাণ পুনৰায় পাব পাৰোঁ।
18 No one took it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to receive it again. This is the command which I received from my Father.”
১৮কোনেও মোৰ পৰা মোৰ প্রাণ হৰণ কৰিব নোৱাৰে, কিন্তু মই নিজে তাক সমর্পণ কৰোঁ আৰু তাক সমর্পণ কৰাৰ ক্ষমতা মোৰ আছে; পুনৰায় তাক পোৱাৰ ক্ষমতাও মোৰ আছে। এই আজ্ঞা মই মোৰ পিতৃৰ পৰা পাইছোঁ।”
19 In consequence of these words a difference of opinion again arose among the Jews.
১৯এনেবোৰ কথাৰ কাৰণে ইহুদী সকলৰ মাজত আকৌ মতৰ অমিল হবলৈ ধৰিলে।
20 Many of them said: “He is possessed by a demon and is mad; why do you listen to him?”
২০তেওঁলোকৰ মাজৰ অনেকে ক’লে, “ইয়াক ভূতে পাইছে; ই বলিয়া; ইয়াৰ কথা তোমালোকে কিয় শুনা?”
21 Others said: “This is not the teaching of one who is possessed by a demon. Can a demon give sight to the blind?”
২১আন সকলে ক’লে, “কিন্তু এই সকলো কথাতো এজন ভূতে পোৱা মানুহে কোৱা কথা নহয়। ভূতে জানো অন্ধৰ চকু মুকলি কৰিব পাৰে?”
22 Soon after this the Festival of the Re-dedication was held at Jerusalem.
২২তাৰ পাছত যিৰূচালেমত মন্দিৰ প্ৰতিষ্ঠাৰ পৰ্ব উপস্থিত হ’ল।
23 It was winter; and Jesus was walking in the Temple Courts, in the Colonnade of Solomon,
২৩সেই সময়ত শীতকাল আছিল; যীচুৱে মন্দিৰত চলোমনৰ বাৰাণ্ডাত খোজকাঢ়ি আছিল।
24 when the Jews gathered round him, and said: “How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us so frankly.”
২৪তেনেতে ইহুদী সকলে তেওঁক আগুৰি ধৰি ক’লে, “আৰু কিমান কাল তুমি আমাক সন্দেহৰ দোমোজাত ৰাখিবা? তুমিয়ে যদি খ্ৰীষ্ট হোৱা, তেনেহলে আমাক স্পষ্টকৈ কোৱা।”
25 “I have told you so,” replied Jesus, “and you do not believe me. The work that I am doing in my Father’s name bears testimony to me.
২৫যীচুৱে উত্তৰ দিলে, “মই আপোনালোকক ক’লো, কিন্তু আপোনালোকেতো বিশ্বাসেই নকৰে; মোৰ পিতৃৰ নামেৰে মই যি সকলো কৰ্ম কৰিছোঁ, সেইবোৰেই মোৰ বিষয়ে সাক্ষ্য দিছে।
26 But you do not believe me, because you are not of my flock.
২৬তথাপি আপোনালোকে বিশ্বাস নকৰে; কাৰণ আপোনালোক মোৰ মেৰৰ জাকৰ মাজৰ নহয়।
27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me;
২৭মোৰ মেৰবোৰে হ’লে মোৰ মাত শুনে। মই সেই সকলক জানো, আৰু সেই সকল মোৰ পাছে পাছে আহে;
29 What my Father has entrusted to me is more than all else; and no one can snatch anything out of the Father’s hands.
২৯মোৰ পিতৃ, যি জনে তেওঁলোকক মোক দিলে, তেওঁ সবাতোকৈ মহান; সেই পিতৃৰ হাতৰ পৰা তেওঁলোকক কোনেও কাঢ়ি ল’ব নোৱাৰে।
30 The Father and I are one.”
৩০মই আৰু পিতৃ এক।”
31 The Jews again brought stones to throw at him;
৩১তেতিয়া ইহুদী সকলে তেওঁক মাৰিবলৈ আকৌ শিল তুলি ল’লে।
32 and seeing this, Jesus said: “I have done before your eyes many good actions, inspired by the Father; for which of them would you stone me?”
৩২যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক উত্তৰ দিলে, “পিতৃৰ পৰা অনেক ভাল কৰ্ম কৰি মই আপোনালোকক দেখুৱালোঁ; সেইবোৰৰ কোন কৰ্মৰ কাৰণে আপোনালোকে মোক শিল দলিয়াই মাৰিব বিছাৰিছে?”
33 “It is not for any good action that we would stone you,” answered the Jews, “but for blasphemy; and because you, who are only a man, make yourself out to be God.”
৩৩ইহুদী সকলে তেওঁক উত্তৰ দিলে, “ভাল কৰ্মৰ কাৰণে আমি তোমাক শিল দলিয়াই মাৰিব বিচৰা নাই, কিন্তু তুমি মানুহ হৈয়ো, নিজকে ঈশ্বৰ বুলি ঈশ্বৰক নিন্দা কৰিছা, সেই কাৰণেহে বিচাৰিছোঁ।”
34 “Are there not,” replied Jesus, “these words in your Law — ‘I said “Ye are gods”’?
৩৪যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক উত্তৰ দিলে, “আপোনালোকৰ বিধান-শাস্ত্ৰত জানো এইদৰে লিখা নাই ‘মই ক’লো, “তোমালোক ঈশ্বৰবোৰ?”’
35 If those to whom God’s word were addressed were said to be ‘gods’ — and Scripture cannot be set aside —
৩৫যি সকল লোকলৈ ঈশ্বৰৰ বাক্য আহিছিল, সেই লোক সকলক তেওঁ যদি ঈশ্বৰবুলি ক’লে (ধৰ্মশাস্ত্ৰৰ বচন অলৰ, এই বচন কেতিয়াও ভংগ নহয়)।
36 Do you say of one whom the Father has consecrated and sent as his Messenger to the world ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said ‘I am God’s Son’?
৩৬তেনেহলে যি জনক পিতৃয়ে পবিত্র কৰিলে আৰু জগতলৈ পঠালে, তেওঁক আপোনালোকে কিয় কয়, ‘তুমি ঈশ্বৰ নিন্দা কৰিছা’ বুলি; কাৰণ মই ক’লো যে, ‘মই ঈশ্বৰৰ পুত্ৰ’?
37 If I am not doing the work that my Father is doing, do not believe me;
৩৭মোৰ পিতৃৰ কার্য যদি মই নকৰোঁ, তেনেহলে মোক বিশ্বাস নকৰিব;
38 if I am doing it, even though you do not believe me, believe what that work shows; so that you may understand, and understand more and more clearly, that the Father is in union with me, and I with the Father.”
৩৮কিন্তু যদি কৰোঁ, মোক বিশ্বাস নকৰিলেও, অন্তত: সেই কার্যক বিশ্বাস কৰক, যাতে আপোনালোকে জানিব পাৰে আৰু বুজিব পাৰে যে পিতৃ মোত আছে আৰু মই পিতৃত আছোঁ।”
39 Upon this the Jews again sought to arrest him; but he escaped their hands.
৩৯তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে আকৌ যীচুক ধৰিবলৈ উপায় বিচাৰিলে; কিন্তু তেওঁ তেওঁলোকৰ হাতৰ পৰা ওলাই গ’ল।
40 Then Jesus again crossed the Jordan to the place where John used to baptize at first, and stayed there some time, during which many people came to see him.
৪০পাছত যৰ্দ্দনৰ সিপাৰত য’ত যোহনে প্রথমতে বাপ্তিস্ম দিছিল, যীচু সেই ঠাইলৈ পুণৰ গ’ল আৰু তাতে থকিল।
41 “John gave no sign of his mission,” they said; “but everything that he said about this man was true.”
৪১তাতে অনেক লোক যীচুৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিল আৰু কোৱা-কুই কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে “যোহনে একো আচৰিত চিন নকৰিব পাৰে সঁচা, কিন্তু এই লোকৰ বিষয়ে তেওঁ যি যি কথা কৈছিল, সেই সকলোৱেই সত্য।”
42 And many learned to believe in Jesus there.
৪২আৰু সেই ঠাইত অনেকে যীচুক বিশ্বাস কৰিলে।
