Galatians 2
1 Fourteen years afterwards I went up to Jerusalem again with Barnabas, and I took Titus also with me.
୧ଚଉଦ ବରସ୍ ପଚେ ବର୍ନବାର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମୁଇ ଜିରୁସାଲମେ ବାଉଡିଆଇଲି । ଆମର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ତିତସ୍କେ ମିସା ଡାକି ନେଇରଇଲୁ ।
2 It was in obedience to a revelation that I went; and I laid before the Apostles the Good News that I am proclaiming among the Gentiles. I did this privately before those who are thought highly of, for fear that I might possibly be taking, or might have already taken, a course which would prove useless.
୨ମୁଇ ତେଇ ଜିବାର୍ ଆଚେଆକା ବଲି ପରମେସରର୍ଟାନେଅନି ଆଦେସ୍ ପାଇ ଜାଇରଇଲି । ଜିଉଦି ନ ଅଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ଲଗେ ମୁଇ ଜନ୍ କବର୍ ଜାନାଇଲିନି, ସେଟା ଜିରୁସାଲମର୍ ନେତା ବଲି ମାନିଅ ପାଇରଇବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍, ଗଟେକ୍ ଗରେ ବସ୍ଲା ବେଲେ, ତେଇ ବୁଜାଇ ଦେଲି । ଜେନ୍ତିକି ମର୍ ଆଗର୍ ପଚର୍ ଜାନାଇବା ସୁବ୍କବର୍ ବେକାର ନ ଅ, ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ମୁଇ ଦିଆନ୍ ଦେଇରଇଲି ।
3 Yet even my companion, Titus, though a Greek, was not compelled to be circumcised.
୩ମୁଇ କଇଲା ବିସଇ ସେମନ୍ ରାଜି ଅଇଲାଇ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ମର୍ ସାଙ୍ଗ ତିତସ୍, ଗଟେକ୍ ଗିରିକ୍ ଲକ୍ ଅଇରଇଲେ ମିସା, ତାକେ ସୁନତ୍ ଅ ଆକା ବଲି ବାଦିଅ କରତ୍ ନାଇ ।
4 But, on account of the false Brothers who had stolen in, the men who had crept in to spy upon the liberty which we have through union with Christ Jesus, in order to bring us back to slavery —
୪ଏଲେମିସା କେତେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ତାକେ ସୁନତ୍ କର୍ବାକେ ମନ୍ କର୍ତେ ରଇଲାଇ । ସେମନ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସି ବାଇ ବଲି ନାଡାଇକରି କୁଟିଆଲ୍ ଇସାବେ ଦଲେ ମିସିରଇଲାଇ । କିରିସ୍ଟ ଜିସୁର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମିସିରଇଲାର୍ ଲାଗି ଆମେ ଜନ୍ ମୁକ୍ଲିରଇବା ଦିନ୍ ପାଇଲୁଆଚୁ, ସେ ବିସଇ କଜି ମିଲାଇବାକେ ସେମନ୍ ମନ୍ କର୍ତେ ରଇଲା । ଆମ୍କେ ଆରିତରେକ୍ ମସାର୍ ନିୟମର୍ ଦାଙ୍ଗ୍ଡା କର୍ବାକେ ମିସା ମନ୍ କର୍ତେରଇଲାଇ ।
5 Why, we did not for a moment yield submission to them, that the Truth of the Good News might be yours always!
୫ମାତର୍ ତମର୍ ଲାଗି, ସୁବ୍କବର୍ ସତ୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଦାରି ରକ୍ବାକେ, ଆମେ ସେ ନାଡାଉମନ୍କେ ଚନେକ୍ ମିସା ବେଲା ଦେଇ ନ ରଇଲୁ ।
6 Of those who are thought somewhat highly of — what they once were makes no difference to me; God does not recognise human distinctions — those, I say, who are thought highly of added nothing to my Message.
୬ମାତର୍ ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ନେତା ବଲାଇ ଅଇତେ ରଇଲାଇ, ସେମନ୍ ଜେ ମିସା ଅଅତ୍, ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ମକେ କାଇଟା ନ ଅଏ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ପରମେସର୍ କାକେ ମିସା ବାଇରର୍ ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି ଦେକି ବିଚାର୍ନା ନ କରେ । ସେ ନେତାମନ୍ ମକେ କାଇମିସା ନୁଆ ଜଜ୍ନା ନ ଦେଇରଇଲାଇ ।
7 On the contrary, they saw that I had been entrusted with the Good News for the Gentiles, just as Peter had been for the Jews.
୭ଆରି ଗଟେକ୍ ବାଟେ ସେମନ୍ ଦେକ୍ଲାଇ ଜେ, ପରମେସର୍ ଜେନ୍ତିକି ପିତର୍କେ ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ଲଗେ ସୁବ୍କବର୍ ଜାନାଇବାକେ ଦାଇତ୍ ଦେଇ ରଇଲା, ସେନ୍ତି ଜିଉଦି ନଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ଟାନେ ସୁବ୍କବର୍ ଜାନାଇବାକେ ମକେ ଦାଇତ୍ ଦେଲାଆଚେ ।
8 For he who gave Peter power for his mission to the Jews gave me, also, power to go to the Gentiles.
୮କାଇକେବଇଲେ ପିତର୍ ଜେନ୍ତି ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ବପୁ ପାଇକରି ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ପାଇ ପେରିତ୍ ସିସ୍ ଇସାବେ ଦାଇତ୍ ପାଇରଇଲା, ସମାନ୍ ସେନ୍ତି, ମୁଇ ମିସା ପରମେସରର୍ ବପୁ ପାଇକରି ଜିଉଦି ନଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ପାଇ ପେରିତ୍ ସିସ୍ ଇସାବେ ଦାଇତ୍ ପାଇଲିଆଚି ।
9 Recognising the charge entrusted to me, James, Peter, and John, who were regarded as pillars of the Church, openly acknowledged Barnabas and me as fellow-workers, agreeing that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the Jews.
୯ନେତା ଇସାବେ ଏଜାଇଅଇରଇବା ଜାକୁବ୍, ପିତର୍ ଆରି ଜଅନ୍, ଉଁ ବଲି ମାନି ଅଇରଇଲାଇ ଜେ, ପରମେସର୍ ମକେ ଏ ମୁକିଅ କାମର୍ ଦାଇତ୍ ଦେଲାଆଚେ । ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ସେମନ୍ ମକେ ଆରି ବର୍ନବାକେ, ଆମେ ମିସିକରି କାମ୍ କରୁବଲି ଗଟେକ୍ ଚିନ୍ ଇସାବେ ଆତ୍ ମିଲାଇଲାଇ । ବର୍ନବା ଆରି ମୁଇ ଜିଉଦି ନଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଆରି ସେମନ୍ ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ କାମ୍ କର୍ବୁ ବଲି ରାଜି ଅଇରଇଲୁ ।
10 Only we were to remember the poor — the very thing I was myself anxious to do.
୧୦ସେମନ୍ ଆମ୍କେ ସେମନର୍ ଦଲେ ଅବାବେ ରଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଏତାଇତେରୁଆ ବଲି ଅବ୍କା ଏତ୍କି ଗୁଆରି କରିରଇଲାଇ । ସେ ବିସଇ କର୍ବାକେସେ ମର୍ ମନ୍ ରଇଲା ।
11 But, when Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face; for he stood self-condemned.
୧୧ପିତର୍ ଆନ୍ତିଅକିଅତେଇ ଆସି ରଇଲା ବେଲେ ମୁଇ ସବୁ ଲକର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ତାକେ ମନାକରିରଇଲି, କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ସତଇସେ ସେ ବୁଲ୍ କାମ୍ କର୍ତେରଇଲା ।
12 Before certain persons came from James, he had been in the habit of eating with the Gentile converts; but, when they came, he began to withdraw and hold aloof, for fear of offending those who still held to circumcision.
୧୨ଆଗ୍ତୁ ସେ ଜିଉଦି ନଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ କାଇତେରଇଲା, ମାତର୍ ଜେଡେବଲ୍ ଜାକୁବ୍ ପାଟାଇରଇବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତେଇ ଆଇଲାଇ, ତେଇ ମିସିକରି କାଇବାଟା ଚାଡି ବିନେ ରଇଲା । ଜନ୍ ଜିଉଦି ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍ ଜିଉଦି ନଇଲାଟାମନ୍କେ ସୁନତ୍ ଉଆ ବଲି ବାଦିଅ କର୍ତେରଇଲାଇ, ସେମନ୍କେ ଡରି ପିତର୍ ଏନ୍ତି କଲା ।
13 The rest of the Jewish converts were guilty of the same hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led away by it.
୧୩ବିନ୍ ଜିଉଦି ବାଇମନ୍ ମିସା ପିତର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମିସି କୁଟିଆଲ୍ମନର୍ ପାରା ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି କର୍ତେ ରଇଲାଇ । ଏନ୍ତିକି ବର୍ନବା ମିସା ସେନ୍ତାରି ଅଇଗାଲା ।
14 But, when I saw that they were not dealing straightforwardly with the Truth of the Good News, I said to Peter, before them all, “If you, who were born a Jew, adopt Gentile customs, instead of Jewish, why are you trying to compel the Gentile converts to adopt Jewish customs?”
୧୪ସବୁର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ମୁଇ ପିତର୍କେ କଇଲି, “ତୁଇ ଜିଉଦି ଅଇକରି ମିସା, ଜିଉଦି ନଇଲା ଲକର୍ ପାରା କେତେଟା ଜିଉଦି ରିତିନିତି ଚାଡିଦେଇ ଆଚୁସ୍ । ସେନ୍ତାର୍ଆଲେ ଜିଉଦି ନ ଅଉଁମନ୍କେ ଆମର୍ ଦରମର୍ ସବୁ ରିତିନିତି ମାନ୍ବାକେ କେନ୍ତି ବାଦିଅ କଲୁସ୍ନି?”
15 We, though we are Jews by birth and not outcasts of Gentile origin, know that no one is pronounced righteous as the result of obedience to Law, but only through faith in Christ Jesus.
୧୫ଏବେ ଆମ୍କେ ଜନ୍ମେଅନି ଜିଉଦି ଲକ୍ ବଲି ଜାନତ୍ । ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ନାଜାନ୍ଲା ଜିଉଦି ନଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନର୍ପାରା ନଉଁ ।
16 So we placed our faith in Christ Jesus, in order that we might be pronounced righteous, as the result of faith in Christ, and not of obedience to Law; for such obedience ‘will not result in even one soul’s being pronounced righteous.’
୧୬ଅଇଲେ ମିସା ଆମେ ଜାନୁ, ମସାର୍ ନିୟମର୍ ଦାବି ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ କଲେ ନଏଁ, ମାତର୍ ଉଜେ ଜିସୁ କିରିସ୍ଟର୍ତେଇ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲେ, ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ପରମେସରର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଦସ୍ ନ ରଇବା ଲକ୍ ବଲାଇଅଇସି । ତାର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଦରମ୍ ଲକ୍ ବଲାଇଅଇବାକେ, ଆମେ ଜିଉଦିମନ୍ ମିସା ଜିସୁକିରିସ୍ଟକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲୁନି । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ମୁଆଟେ କେମିସା ନିୟମ୍ ମାନ୍ବା ଲକ୍ ଦରମ୍ ବଲି ଏଜାଇ ନ ଅଅତ୍ ।
17 If, while seeking to be pronounced righteous through union with Christ, we were ourselves seen to be outcasts, would that make Christ an agent of sin? Heaven forbid!
୧୭ମାତର୍ କିରିସ୍ଟର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମିସିରଇଲାକେ ତାର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଆମେ ଦରମ୍ଲକ୍ ବଲି ଏଜାଇ ଅଇବୁ । ମାତର୍ ମସାର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ଇସାବେ, ଜିଉଦି ନଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ପାରା ଆମେ ପାପିଲକ୍ ବଲି ଏଜାଇ ଅଇଲୁନି । କିରିସ୍ଟ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ପାପ୍ କରାଇବାକେ ବାଦିଅ କଲାନି ବଲି ତାର୍ ଅରତ୍ ଆଚେ କି? ନାଇ, ଏନ୍ତାରି କେବେ ନ ଅଏ ।
18 For, if I rebuild the very things that I pulled down, I prove myself to have done wrong.
୧୮କାଇକେବଇଲେ ମୁଇ ମସାର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ପିଟି ପାସ୍ଲିଦେଲି । ମାତର୍ ଜନ୍ ନିୟମ୍ ମୁଇ ଚାଡିଦେଇରଇଲି, ସେଟା ଆରିତରେକ୍ ମାନ୍ବାକେ ଚେସ୍ଟା କଲେ ସତଇସେ ପାପି ଅଇଜିବି ।
19 I, indeed, through Law became dead to Law, in order to live for God.
୧୯ନିୟମର୍ ପାଇ ମୁଇ ମଲାସମାନ୍ ଅଇଆଚି । ନିୟମର୍ ଲାଗି ସେ, ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଦସି ଅଇକରି ମରନର୍ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ପାଇଲି ।
20 I have been crucified with Christ. So it is no longer I that live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and, as for my present earthly life, I am living it by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
୨୦ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ପାଇ ବଁଚ୍ବାକେ ମକେ କିରିସଟର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ କୁର୍ସେ ମରାଇଆଚେ । ଏବେ ମୁଇ ଜିଇକରି ରଇନାଇ । ମାତର୍ କିରିସ୍ଟ ମର୍ଟାନେ ଜିଇକରି ଆଚେ । ଏବେ ମର୍ ଗାଗଡ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସର୍ ଲାଗି ଜିବନ୍ ଆଚେ । ଜନ୍ଟା କି ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ପଅ ଜିସୁ କିରିସ୍ଟ ମକେ ଆଲାଦ୍ କରି ମର୍ପାଇ ସେ ନିଜେ ସର୍ପି ଅଇଲା । ତାକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରି ମୁଇ ଜିଇଲି ଆଚି ।
21 I do not reject the love of God. If righteousness comes through Law, then there was no need for Christ to die!
୨୧ଏଟାର୍ପାଇ ପରମେସରର୍ ଜିବନ୍ ଦୁକାଇଲାଟାକେ ମୁଇ କେବେ ମିସା ନାଇ ବଲି କଇନାପାରି । କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ନିୟମ୍ ମାନ୍ଲେ ଜଦି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ତାର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଦରମ୍ ଲକ୍ ଅଇପାରେ, ତେବେ କିରିସ୍ଟ ମଲାର୍ କିଚି ମୁଲିଅ ନାଇ । ଏ ସବୁ ବିସଇ ମୁଇ ଆନ୍ଟିଅକେ କଇଲି ।
