Acts 1
1 The first account which I drew up, Theophilus, dealt with all that Jesus did and taught from the very first,
୧ସାର୍ଦାର୍ ତିଅପିଲ୍, ମର୍ ପର୍ତୁମ୍ ଲେକିରଇବା ଲୁକ୍ବଇଟାନେ ଆରାମେଅନି, ପର୍ମେସର୍ ତାକେ ସର୍ଗେ ନେବା ଦିନ୍ ଜାକ, ଜିସୁ କରିରଇବା ଆରି ସିକାଇରଇବା ସବୁ ବିସଇ ଲେକିରଇଲି ।
2 down to that day on which he was taken up to Heaven, after he had, by the help of the Holy Spirit, given instructions to the Apostles whom he had chosen.
୨ତାର୍ ଆଗ୍ତୁ ସୁକଲ୍ଆତ୍ମାର୍ ବପୁସଙ୍ଗ୍ ସେ ବାଚିରଇବା ପେରିତ୍ମନ୍କେ କେତେଟା ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଇରଇଲା ।
3 With abundant proofs, he showed himself to them, still living, after his death; appearing to them from time to time during forty days, and speaking of all that related to the Kingdom of God.
୩ସେ ଦୁକ୍ କସ୍ଟ ଅଇଲାପଚେ, ସେମନ୍କେ ନିଜେ ବେସି ତର୍ ଦେକାଇଅଇଲା । ଚାଲିସ୍ ଦିନ୍ଜାକ ବିନ୍ ବିନ୍ ବେଲାଇ ଦେକାଇଅଇଲା । ମଲାତେଇଅନି ଉଟ୍ଲାଟା ସତ୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଜାନାଇଲା । ସେମନ୍ ତାକେ ଦେକ୍ଲାଇ, ଆରି ସେ ସେମନର୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ରାଇଜ୍ ବିସଇନେଇ କାତା ଅଇଲା ।
4 And once, when he had gathered them together, he charged them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait there for the fulfilment of the Father’s promise — “that promise,” he said, “of which you have heard me speak;
୪ତରେକ୍ ସେମନର୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମିସିକରି କାଇବା ବେଲେ, ସେ ଏ ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଲା, “ଜିରୁସାଲମ୍ ଚାଡାନାଇ । ମାତର୍ ଜନ୍ଟା ମର୍ ସରଗର୍ ବାବା, ଇନାମେ ଦେବିବଲି କଇଆଚେ, ସେଟା ନ ମିଲ୍ବା ଜାକ ଜାଗିରୁଆ ।
5 for, while John baptized with water, you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit before many days have passed.”
୫କାଇକେବଇଲେ ଜଅନ୍ ପାନିତେଇ ଡୁବନ୍ ଦେଇରଇଲା, ମାତର୍ କେତେ ଦିନ୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ତମ୍କେ ସୁକଲ୍ ଆତ୍ମାଇ ଡୁବନ୍ ଦେଇସି ।”
6 So, when the Apostles had met together, they asked Jesus this question — “Master, is this the time when you intend to re-establish the Kingdom for Israel?”
୬ଦିନେକ୍ ପେରିତ୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ତେଇ ରୁଣ୍ଡିରଇଲା ବେଲେ ଜିସୁକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ, “ମାପ୍ରୁ, ତମେ କାଇ ଏବେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ତାକର୍ ରାଇଜ୍ ଆରିତରେକ୍ ବାଉଡାଇ ଦେଇସୁ କି?”
7 His answer was: “It is not for you to know times or hours, for the Father has reserved these for his own decision;
୭ଜିସୁ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ମର୍ ବାବା ତାର୍ ନିଜର୍ ଅଦିକାର୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ବେଲାଗଡି ଟିକ୍କରି ସଙ୍ଗଇ ଆଚେ । ଏ ସବୁ କେବେ ଗଟ୍ସି, ସେଟା ତମର୍ ଜାନ୍ବା ଦର୍କାର୍ ନାଇ ।
8 but you shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit shall have descended upon you, and shall be witnesses for me not only in Jerusalem, but throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
୮ମାତର୍ ସୁକଲ୍ ଆତ୍ମା ତମର୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ଉତର୍ଲେ, ତମେ ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ବପୁ ଅଇସା ଆରି ଜିରୁସାଲମ୍, ଜିଉଦାର୍ ସବୁଟାନେ, ସମିରଣ୍ ଆରି ଜଗତର୍ ସାରାସାରି ଜାକ ମର୍ ନାଉଁ ଦାରି ସାକି ଅଇସା ।”
9 No sooner had Jesus said this than he was caught up before their eyes, and a cloud received him from their sight.
୯ଏତ୍କି କାତା ସେମନ୍କେ କଇସାରାଇଲା ପଚେ, ସେମନ୍ ଜିସୁକେ ସର୍ଗେ ନେବାଟା ଦେକ୍ଲାଇ । ଗଟେକ୍ ଚେଲ୍କା ବାଦଲ୍ ଆସି ଡାବିଅଇଲାକେ ସେ ବାନା ଅଇଗାଲା । ଆରି ସେମନ୍ ତାକେ ଦେକି ନାପାର୍ଲାଇ ।
10 While they were still gazing up into the heavens, as he went, suddenly two men, clothed in white, stood beside them,
୧୦ସେ ସର୍ଗେ ଗାଲାପଚେ ମିସା ସେମନ୍ ଆଁକି ମରାଇକରି ଉପ୍ରେ ସେ ଦେକ୍ତେ ରଇଲାଇ । ସେଡ୍କିବେଲେ ଏଦେ ଦେକା! ଦବ୍ ପଚିଆ ପିନ୍ଦ୍ଲା ଦୁଇ ଲକ୍, ସେମନର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଆସି ଟିଆଅଇଲାଇ ।
11 and said: “Men of Galilee, why are you standing here looking up into the heavens? This very Jesus, who has been taken from you into the heavens, will come in the very way in which you have seen him go into the heavens.”
୧୧ଆରି କଇଲାଇ “ଏ ଗାଲିଲିର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍, ତମେ କାଇକେ ଇତି ଟିଆଅଇ ଆକାସେ ଦେକ୍ଲାସ୍ନି? ଏ ଜିସୁକେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ତମର୍ଟାନେଅନି ସର୍ଗେ ନେଲା ଆଚେ । ସେ ସର୍ଗେ ଜେନ୍ତି ଜାଇରଇଲା, ସେନ୍ତାରିସେ ଦର୍ତନିତେଇ ଆଇବାଟା ଦେକ୍ସା ।”
12 Then the Apostles returned to Jerusalem from the hill called Olivet, which is about three quarters of a mile from the city.
୧୨ତାର୍ପଚେ ପେରିତ୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ଜିତ୍ ପର୍ବତେଅନି ଜିରୁସାଲାମ୍ ବାଉଡି ଗାଲାଇ । ସେ ପର୍ବତ୍, ଜିରୁସାଲମ୍ ନଅରେଅନି ଗଟେକ୍ କିଲମିଟର୍ ଦୁର୍ ରଇଲା ।
13 When they reached Jerusalem, they went to the upstairs room, where they were staying. There were there Peter, John, James, and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James.
୧୩ଜିରୁସାଲେମ୍ ନଅରେ ଜାଇକରି ସେମନ୍ ରଇବା ବାକ୍ରାଇ ପୁର୍ଲାଇ । ପିତର୍, ଜଅନ୍, ଜାକୁବ୍ ଆରି ତାର୍ ବାଇ ଆନ୍ଦ୍ରିୟ, ପିଲିପ୍, ତମା, ବାର୍ତଲମି, ମାତିଉ, ଆଲ୍ପିର୍ ପିଲା ଜାକୁବ୍, ଦେସ୍ ଆଲାଦ୍କର୍ବା ସିମନ୍ ଆରି ଜାକୁବର୍ ପିଲା ଜିଉଦା, ଏମନ୍ ରଇଲା ତେଇର୍ ପେରିତ୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ।
14 They all united in devoting themselves to Prayer, and so did some women, and Mary, the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.
୧୪ସେମନ୍ ତର୍କେତର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦଲ୍ ଇସାବେ ପାର୍ତନା କର୍ବାକେ ରୁଣ୍ଡ୍ତେ ରଇଲାଇ । ଆରି ସେମନର୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଜିସୁର୍ ଆୟା ମରିୟମ୍, ବିନ୍ ମାଇଜିମନ୍ ଆରି ଜିସୁର୍ ବାଇମନ୍ ମିସା ମିସ୍ତେରଇଲାଇ ।
15 About this time, at a meeting of the Brethren, when there were about a hundred and twenty present, Peter rose to speak.
୧୫କେତେ ଦିନ୍ ଗାଲାପଚେ ପାକାପାକି ସଏ କଡେ ଲକ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସି ବାଇମନ୍ ରଇଲା ଗଟେକ୍ ସବାଇ, ପିତର୍ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଉଟି ଟିଆଅଇ କଇଲା,
16 “Brothers,” he said, “it was necessary that the prediction of Scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit made by the lips of David about Judas, who acted as guide to the men that arrested Jesus,
୧୬“ଏ ମର୍ ବାଇବଇନିମନ୍, ଜନ୍ ଇସ୍କାରିୟତ୍ ଜିଉଦା ଜିସୁକେ ଦାରାଇଦେବାକେ ସତ୍ରୁମନ୍କେ ବାଟ୍ ଦେକାଇ ଆନିରଇଲା, ତାର୍ ବିସଇ, ଦାଉଦ୍ ସୁକଲ୍ଆତ୍ମାଇ ପୁରୁନ୍ଅଇ ବବିସତ୍କାତା ସୁନାଇ ରଇଲା । ଦରମ୍ ସାସ୍ତରର୍ କାତା ସିଦ୍ ଅଇବାକେ ଏଟା ଗଟ୍ବାର୍ ରଇଲା ।
17 for he was one of our number and had his part allotted him in this work of ours.”
୧୭ଏଲେମିସା ସେ ଆମର୍ ଦଲର୍ ଲକ୍ ରଇଲା । ଆରି ଆମର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ କାମ୍ କର୍ବାକେ ବାଚାଇଅଇ ରଇଲା ।”
18 (This man had bought a piece of land with the price of his treachery; and, falling heavily, his body had burst open, and all his bowels protruded.
୧୮ଜିଉଦା କରିରଇବା କରାପ୍ କାମେଅନି ମିଲାଇଲା ଡାବୁକେ ଗଟେକ୍ ଜମି ଗେନାଅଇରଇଲା । ଆରି ସେ ଜମିତେଇ, ଉମ୍ତାଡିଅଇ ଅଦ୍ରି ମଲା । ତାର୍ ପେଟ୍ ଚିରିଅଇ ଆଁତି ବାରଇଗାଲା ।
19 This became known to every one living in Jerusalem, so that the field came to be called, in their language, ‘Akeldama,’ which means the ‘Field of Blood.’)
୧୯ଜିରୁସାଲମ୍ ନଅରେ ବାସାଅଇରଇବା ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଏ ସବୁ ବିସଇ ସୁନ୍ଲାଇ । ସେମନର୍ ବାସାଇ ସେ ଜମିର୍ ନାଉଁ ଆକେଲ୍ଦାମା ତାର୍ ଅରତ୍ ଅଇଲାନି ବନିର୍ ପଦା ବଲି ନାଉଁ ଦେଲାଇ ଆଚତ୍ ।
20 “For in the Book of Psalms,” Peter continued, “it is said — ‘Let his dwelling become desolate, And let no one live in it’; and also — ‘His office let another take.’
୨୦ଗିତ୍ସଙ୍ଗିତା ବଇଟାନେ ଏ ବିସଇ ଲେକା ଅଇଲା ଆଚେ, “ତାର୍ ଗର୍ ଚୁଚା ଅଇଜାଅ, ତେଇ ବାସା ଅଇବାକେ କେ ମିସା ନ ରଅତ୍ ।” ଆରି ମିସା ଲେକା ଅଇଲା ଆଚେ, “ତାର୍ ଜାଗାଇ ସେବା କର୍ବାକେ ଆରି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ମିସ ।”
21 Therefore, from among the men who have been with us all the time that Jesus, our Master, went in and out among us —
୨୧“ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ, ଜିସୁମାପ୍ରୁ ଆମର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଗାଲାବେଲେ ଜେ ଆମର୍ ଦଲେ ସବୁବେଲେ ରଇଲା, ସେନ୍ତାରି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ବାଚ୍ବାର୍ ଆଚେ ।
22 From his baptism by John down to that day on which he was taken from us — some one must be found to join us as a witness of his resurrection.”
୨୨ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ଆମେ ବାଚ୍ବୁ, ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଜିସୁକେ ଜେନ୍ତି ଜିବନ୍ କରି ଉଟାଇଲା, ସେ ବିସଇ ଆମର୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ସେ ସାକି ଅଇବାର୍ଆଚେ । ଜଅନ୍ ଜିସୁକେ ଡୁବନ୍ଦେଲା ବେଲେଅନି, ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଆମର୍ଟାନେଅନି ତାକେ ସର୍ଗେ ନେବା ଜାକ, ସେ ଲକ୍ ଆମର୍ ଦଲେ ରଇବାର୍ ଆଚେ ।”
23 So they put forward two men, Joseph called Barsabas, whose other name was Justus, and Matthias;
୨୩ସେମନ୍ ଦୁଇ ଲକର୍ ନାଉଁ ଦେଲାଇ । ଜସେପ୍ ଜେକି ବର୍ସବା ଆରି ଜୁସ୍ତକ୍ ବଲି ମିସା କଇବାଇ ଆରି ମତିୟ ।
24 and they offered this prayer — “O Lord, who reads all hearts, show which of these two men you have chosen
୨୪ଆରି ସେମନ୍ ପାର୍ତନା କଲାଇ, “ମାପ୍ରୁ ତମେତା ସବୁ ଲକର୍ ମନର୍ କାତା ଜାନାସ୍ । ଜିଉଦା ଜନ୍ ଜାଗାଇ ରଇବାର୍ରଇଲା, ଟିକ୍ ତେଇ ଉଟିଗାଲା । ପଚେ ତାର୍ ଜାଗାଇ ତମେ ବାଚିରଇବା ଲକ୍, ଏ ଦୁଇ ଲକର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଅନି କେ ଅଇରଇସି?
25 To take the place in this apostolic work, which Judas has abandoned, to go to his proper place.”
୨୫ଜେ ପେରିତ୍ ସିସ୍କାମ୍ କରିପାର୍ସି, ତାକେ ଆମ୍କେ ଜାନାଆ ।”
26 Then they drew lots between them; and, the lot having fallen on Matthias, he was added to the number of the eleven Apostles.
୨୬ତାର୍ପଚେ ଦୁଇ ଲକର୍ଟାନେଅନି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ବାଚ୍ବାକେ କେଡ୍ପୁଟାଇଲାଇ । କେଡ୍ପୁଟାଇଲାକେ ମତିୟସର୍ ନାଉଁ ପୁଟ୍ଲା । ସେନ୍ତାରି, ଏଗାର୍ଟା ସିସ୍ମନର୍ ଦଲେ ସେ ମିସ୍ଲା ।
