< 2 Timothy 3 >

1 Be sure of this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
Kom in esam lah ke len safla uh ac fah oasr mwe ongoiya lulap sikyak.
2 Men will be selfish, mercenary, boastful, haughty, and blasphemous; disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, impure,
Tuh mwet ac fah nunku kaclos sifacna, lungse mani, konkin, ac filang. Elos ac fah kaskas in akkolukye mwet, seakos papa ac nina, nikin sang kulo, ac wangin nunkeyen alu selo.
3 incapable of affection, merciless, slanderous, wanting in self-control, brutal, careless of the right,
Elos ac tia kulang, tia pakoten; a elos mwet lesrik, sulallal, folo, ac kwase ma wo.
4 treacherous, reckless, and puffed up with pride; they will love pleasure more than they love God;
Elos ac mwet kutasrik, sopoklot, arulana inse fulat; elos fah lungse mwe pwar yohk liki God.
5 and while they retain the outward form of religion, they will not allow it to influence them. Turn your back on such men as these.
Elos oru alu lalos mwe na lumah, a wangin ku elos eis kac. Kom in srikomla liki mwet su ouinge.
6 For among them are to be found those who creep into homes and captivate weak women — women who, loaded with sins, and slaves to all kinds of passions,
Kutu selos ac utyak nu in lohm sin mwet ke inkanek kutasrik ac eis insien mutan lalfon su toanyuki ke ma koluk lalos, su kolyuk ke kain lung koluk puspis.
7 are always learning, and yet never able to attain to a real knowledge of the Truth.
Pacl nukewa mutan inge srike na in lutlut, a elos koflana in kalem ke ma pwaye.
8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so do these people, in their turn, oppose the Truth. Their minds are corrupted, and, as regards the Faith, they are utterly worthless.
Aok, oana ke Jannes ac jambres tuh lainul Moses, mwet ouinge elos oayapa lain ma pwaye — nunak lalos uh lofongla, ac lulalfongi lalos tiana pwaye.
9 They will not, however, make further progress; for their wicked folly will be plain to every one, just as that of Jannes and Jambres was.
Na orekma lalos ac tia ku in fahla wo, mweyen mwet nukewa ac akilen lupan lalfon lalos, oana ma tuh sikyak nu sel Jannes ac Jambres.
10 But you, Timothy, were a close observer of my teaching, my conduct, my purposes, my faith, my forbearance, my love, and my patient endurance,
A kom nuna fahsr tukun mwe luti luk, ouiyen moul luk, ac sripa su nga kwafeyu in sun; kom liye tari lulalfongi luk, mongfisrasr luk, lungse luk, muteng luk,
11 as well as of my persecutions, and of the sufferings which I met with at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. You know what persecutions I underwent; and yet the Lord brought me safe out of all!
mwe kalya nu sik ac keok luk. Kom etu ma nukewa ma sikyak nu sik in Antioch, Iconium, ac Lystra — ke mwe kalya upa nukewa su nga mutangla! Tuh God El moliyula liki ma inge nukewa.
12 Yes, and all who aim at living a religious life in union with Christ Jesus will have to suffer persecution;
Aok elos nukewa su lungse in moulkin moul mutal yurin Christ Jesus, elos ac fah kalyeiyuk.
13 but wicked people and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and deceived themselves.
Mwet koluk ac mwet wosounkas ac fah yokyokelik in ma koluk lalos; elos fah kiapwela mwet ac oayapa ac fah kiapweyukla elos.
14 You, however, must stand by what you learnt and accepted as true. You know who they were from whom you learnt it;
A funu kom, kom in mutana in ma pwaye su lutiyuk kom kac ac kom arulana lulalfongi ku kac. Tuh kom etu lah su mwet luti lom,
15 and that, from your childhood, you have known the Sacred Writings, which can give you the wisdom that, through belief in Christ Jesus, leads to Salvation.
ac tuh ke pacl se kom tulik me kom nuna etu ke Ma Simusla mutal, su ku in asot nu sum lalmwetmet in kol kom nu ke molela su tuku ke lulalfongi in Christ Jesus.
16 Everything that is written under divine inspiration is helpful for teaching, for refuting error, for giving guidance, and for training others in righteousness;
Ma Simusla nukewa ituku ke Ngun lun God, ac oasr sripa in luti ma pwaye, in kai, in aksuwosye, ac in aketeya ouiyen moul suwohs,
17 so that the Servant of God may be perfect himself, and perfectly equipped for every good action.
tuh mwet lun God in suwosna ac akola fal nu ke orekma wo nukewa.
