2 Peter 1
1 To those to whom, through the justice of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ, there has been granted faith equally privileged with our own, from Simon Peter, a servant and an Apostle of Jesus Christ.
Siman Bitrus, bawa da manzon Almasihu Yesu, zuwa ga wadanda suka karbi bangaskiya mai daraja kamar yadda muka karba, bangaskiya cikin adalcin Allahnmu da Yesu Almasihu.
2 May blessing and peace be yours in ever-increasing measure, as you advance in the knowledge of God and of Jesus, our Lord.
Bari alheri ya kasance tare da ku; bari salama ta karu ta wurin sanin Allah da na Yesu Ubangijinmu.
3 For his divine power has given us everything that is needful for a life of piety, as we advance in the knowledge of him who called us by a glorious manifestation of his goodness.
Dukkan abubuwan ikon Allah na rayuwa da Allahntaka an bamu su ta wurin sanin Allah, wanda ya kira mu ta wurin daukakarsa da nagarta.
4 For it was through this that he gave us what we prize as the greatest of his promises, that through them you might participate in the divine nature, now that you have fled from the corruption in the world, resulting from human passions.
Ta wurin wanan, ya bamu babban alkawari mai daraja. Yayi wanan ne saboda ku zama masu rabo cikin Allahntaka, yayin da ku ka kubuta daga lalacewa da ke cikin duniya saboda mugayen sha'awace sha, awace.
5 Yes, and for this very reason do your best to supplement your faith by goodness, goodness by knowledge,
Saboda wanan dalilin kuyi iyakacin kokarinku ku kara nagarta ta wurin bangaskiyarku, kuma ta wurin adalci, sani.
6 knowledge by self-control, self-control by endurance, endurance by piety,
Ta wurin sani ku kara da kamun kai, kuma ta wurin kamun kanku, ku kara da jimrewa, ta wurin jimrewarku, ku kara da bin Allah.
7 piety by brotherly affection, and brotherly affection by love.
Ta wurin bin Allah, ku kara da kauna irin ta 'yan'uwa, ta wurin kauna irin ta 'yan'uwa, ku kara kauna.
8 For, when these virtues are yours, in increasing measure, they prevent your being indifferent to, or destitute of, a fuller knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Idan wadannan abubuwan suna cikinku, kuma suka yi girma a cikinku, baza a sami bakarare ko rashin 'ya'ya cikin sanin Ubangijinmu Yesu Almasihu ba.
9 Surely the man who has not these virtues is shortsighted even to blindness, and has chosen to forget that he has been purified from his sins of the past!
Amma duk wanda ya rasa wadannan abubuwan yana kallon abin da ke kusa ne kawai; ya makance. Ya manta da cewa an wake shi daga tsofaffin zunubansa.
10 Therefore, Brothers, do your best to put God’s Call and Selection of you beyond all doubt; for, if you do this, you will never fall.
Saboda haka, 'yan'uwa, kuyi iyakacin kokari ku tabbatar da kiranku da zabenku. Idan kun yi wadannan abubuwan, baza ku yi tuntube ba.
11 For thus you will be given a triumphant admission into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
Ta haka zaku sami shiga cikin mulki na har'abada na Ubangijinmu da Maicetonmu Yesu Almasihu. (aiōnios g166)
12 I shall, therefore, always be ready to remind you of all this, even though you know it and are firmly established in the Truth that you now hold.
Saboda haka a shirye nake kulayomi in tunashe ku game da wadannan abubuwan, ko da yake kun san su, kuma kun yi karfi cikin gaskiya yanzu.
13 But I think it my duty, as long as I live in this ‘tent,’ to rouse you by awakening memories of the past;
Ina tunani daidai ne in zuga ku da tuni game da wadannan abubuwan, tun ina cikin wannan jiki.
14 for I know that the time for this ‘tent’ of mine to be put away is soon coming, as our Lord Jesus Christ himself assured me.
Domin na sani jim kadan zan bar wannan jiki, kamar yadda Yesu Almasihu ya nuna mani.
15 So I will do my best to enable you, at any time after my departure, to call these truths to mind.
Zan yi iyakancin kokarina kulayomi domin ku rika tunawa da abubuwan, bayan kaurata.
16 For we were not following cleverly devised stories when we told you of the Coming in power of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we had been eye-witnesses of his majesty.
Domin bamu bi labaru da aka kago na nuna wayo cikinsu ba, da muka fada maku game da iko da bayyanuwar Ubangijinmu Yesu Almasihu, amma mu shaidu ne na ikonsa.
17 For he received honour and glory from God the Father, when from the Glory of the Divine Majesty there were borne to his ears words such as these — ‘This is my Son, my Beloved, in whom I delight.’
Gama ya karbi daukaka da daraja daga wurin Allah Uba lokacin da murya ta zo daga ikon mai daukaka cewa, “Wannan shine dana, kaunataccena, wanda nake jin dadinsa kwarai.”
18 These were the words that we heard, borne to our ears from Heaven, when we were with him on that Sacred Mountain.
Mun ji muryar nan da ta zo daga sama, lokacin da mu ke tare da shi a dutse mai tsarki.
19 And still stronger is the assurance that we have in the teaching of the Prophets; to which you will do well to pay attention (as if it were a lamp shining in a gloomy place), until the Day dawns and the Morning Star rises in your hearts.
Muna da wannan kalmar annabci wanda akwai tabbaci sosai, kun yi daidai idan kun mayar da hankali a kansu. Yana nan kamar fitillar da take walkiya a wuri mai duhu kafin asubahi ya zo, kuma tauraron asubahi ya tashi cikin zukatanku.
20 But first be assured of this: — There is no prophetic teaching found in Scripture that can be interpreted by man’s unaided reason;
Ku san da wannan tun da farko, cewa babu annabci da ke bisa ga fasarar mutum.
21 for no prophetic teaching ever came in the old days at the mere wish of man, but men, moved by the Holy Spirit, spoke direct from God.
Domin babu annabcin da ya taba zuwa ta wurin nufin mutum. Maimakon haka, Ruhu Mai Tsarki ne ke iza su, su fadi maganar Allah.
