< 2 John 1 >
1 To an eminent Christian Lady, and to her Children, from the Officer of the Church. I sincerely love you all, and not I only, but also all those who have learned to know the Truth.
Mihak phokhoh taangnawa— Mongnook Nah nyia heh sah loong ngah ih amiimi nook rum hang loong asuh raanghang. Nga luulu ih tah minchan rumra enoothong ngo ih amiisak ah jat ha erah loong ih nep minchan rum halan,
2 We love you for the sake of that Truth which is always in our hearts; yes, and it will be ours for ever. (aiōn )
mamah liidih amiisak ah seng taang ni tong hala eno saarookwe seng damdoh tongha. (aiōn )
3 Blessing, mercy, and peace will be ours — the gift of God, the Father, and of Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son — in a life of truth and love.
Seng Wah Rangte, heh Wah Sah Jisu Kristo, ih minchan, tenthet, nyia semroongroong ah toom kohe; erah loong ah amiisak nyi minchan doh seng damdoh toom ang ha.
4 It was a great joy to me to find the lives of some of your children guided by the Truth, in obedience to the command that we received from the Father.
Ngah timthan tenroon ang tang, an sah loong mararah ah amiisak lam ni nyia Hewah ih baat tahe jun ih tong rum ano ah.
5 And now, I pray you, Lady — not as though I were writing a new command for you; no, it is the command which we had from the first — Let us love one another.
Eno nga mongnook Nah arah jeng lang: seng jaachi nah minchan mui etheng. Arah sen suh ena jengdang tah raang kang; arah jengdang ah ephang di dook seng jinni eje angta.
6 And this is love — to live in obedience to the Father’s commands. This is the Command as you learned from the first, to live in a spirit of love.
Arah Minchan tiit jenglang ah langla Rangte jengdang ah kap ino tong jaatjaat etheng. Jaakhoh ni dook arah jengkhaap ah echaat choi, sen loong thoontang minchan lam ih tongtheng.
7 I say this because many impostors have left us to go into the world — men who do not acknowledge Jesus as Christ come in our human nature. It is that which marks a man as an impostor and an anti-Christ.
Mih mokwaante loong arah mongrep ni thoontang ni jen pheekhoom erumta, erah mina loong ih Jisu Kristo ah mina ih hoon ano mongrep ni ra taha ngeh tah jat rumka. Erah likhiik mina loong abah mih mokwaante nyia Kristo Piiara.
8 Take care that you do not lose the fruit of all our work; rather, reap the benefit of it in full.
Banban ih tong an, erah doba seng timjih raangtaan ih reeti erah thaangmuh tah angka ang ah, eno marah thaang chotheng angla erah thoontang choh ih.
9 Every one who goes beyond the limits of the Teaching of the Christ has failed to find God; the man who keeps to that Teaching — he has found both the Father and the Son.
Marah mina Kristo ih nyootsoot ha adoh lah tong thang ehoh nah mok kah ah, Rangte ah heh damdi tajeeka. Marah mina Kristo ih nyoot haadoh tong abah Hewah nyia Hesah wanyi nyi damdoh roong tongla.
10 If any one comes to you and does not bring this Teaching, do not receive him into your house or welcome him;
Enoobah, marah mina arah tiit ah lah baat thang mok wang haabah, sen nok nah nak noppoon an; eno “An damdoh semroongroong toom ang ah” emah taan uh nak jook waan uh.
11 for the man who welcomes him is sharing with him in his wicked work.
Timnge liidih erah taawaan te ah neng thet re rumla damdi neng uh neng joonte ih wak hoon kah rumla.
12 Though I have a great deal to say to you, I would rather not trust it to paper and ink, but I am hoping to come and see you, and to speak with you face to face, so that your joy may be complete.
Ngah ih sen suh baat theng hantek je ah, enoothong roong nyia leeraang nawa ih tajook raang kang; erah thaknang ibah, ngah ih thun hang sen jinnah nga teeteewah chomui hangno laan chowaan ih, erah doba seng loong ah rapne tenroon ang ih.
13 The children of your eminent sister send you their greetings.
An mongnook nah suh heh sah loong taangnawa uh jengseera maat rumhala.
