< 1 Peter 4 >

1 Since, then, Christ suffered in body, arm yourselves with the same resolve as he; for he who has suffered in body has ceased to sin,
Maram aduna Christtana hakchangda awaba khaangbikhiba maramna nakhoi nasamaksu maduga mannaba pukning leiduna sem sajou; maramdi hakchangda awaba khaangba mahak aduna papka amuk mari leinadre.
2 and so will live the rest of his earthly life guided, not by human passions, but by the will of God.
Aduna nahakna nahakki leihouriba taibangpan-gi punsi adu mioibagi hakchanggi apambasing aduda nattaduna Tengban Mapugi aningbagi matung inna hingba punsi ama oigadabani.
3 Surely in the past you have spent time enough living as the Gentiles delight to live. For your path has lain among scenes of debauchery, licentiousness, drunkenness, revelry, hard-drinking, and profane idolatry.
Maramdi houkhraba matam amada Tengban Mapu ningdaba misingna touba pambasing haibadi lamchat kamba, mihouba, yu ngaoba, thak chaduna nungaithokpa, yu thaktuna makhe langba amasung tukkachaningngai oiraba lai murti latpa asising asi touduna matam marang kaina lenkhre.
4 And, because you do not run to the same extremes of profligacy as others, they are astonished, and malign you.
Makhoina thaoidaba, ka henba punsi mahingda hingba asida nakhoina yaosindaba asida makhoina ngakladu nakhoibu thina ngang-i.
5 But they will have to answer for their conduct to him who is ready to judge both the living and the dead.
Adubu hingliba amasung asibasingbu wayennaba thourang touduna leiriba Ibungo mangonda makhoina toubasing adugi maram pikhigani.
6 For that was why the Good News was told to the dead also — that, after they have been judged in the body, as men are judged, they might live in the spirit, as God lives.
Maram aduna asibasingdasu Aphaba Pao sandokkhi, makhoigi hakchanggi punsida mipum khudingmakta wayenbagumna wayenkhi; makhoigi thawaigi oiba punsida Tengban Mapuna hingbagumna hingnanaba makhoida sandokpani.
7 But the end of all things is near. Therefore exercise self-restraint and be calm, that you may be able to pray.
Pot pumnamak loigadaba adu naksille. Maram aduna nakhoina haijaba yananaba mitsing nasingna amadi pukning laksinna leiyu.
8 Above all things, let your love for one another be earnest, for ‘Love throws a veil over countless sins.’
Pumnamakki mathakta, nakhoi nasel amaga amaga chetna nungsinou maramdi nungsibana pap mayam amabu kupsilli.
9 Never grudge hospitality to one another.
Murum murum sonba yaodana amaga amaga yumda taramna oktuna pija pithak tounou.
10 Whatever the gift that each has received, use it in the service of others, as good stewards of the varied bounty of God.
Tengban Mapugi makhal makha kayagi khudolsingbu ningthina sillangba ama oina Tengban Mapudagi phangjaba toptoppa khudol adu nakhoi amamamna misinggi phananabagidamak sijinnagadabani.
11 When any one speaks, let him speak as one who is delivering the oracles of God. When any one is endeavouring to serve others, let him do so in reliance on the strength which God supplies; so that in everything God may be honour ed through Jesus Christ — to whom be ascribed all honour and might for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Kanagumba amana wa nganglabadi, makhoina Tengban Mapugi wa ngangba amagumna nganggadabani; kanagumba amana thougal tourabadi, Tengban Mapuna pibiba panggalga loinana makhoina thougal tougadabani, masina Tengban Mapubu maram khudingmakta Jisu Christtagi mapanna thagatnabani. Matik mangal amasung panggal lomba naidana Ibungo mahakkini. Amen. (aiōn g165)
12 Dear friends, do not be astonished at the fiery trials that you are passing through, to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.
Achanbasa, nakhoigi nathakta awabagi changyeng lakpa aduda karigumba mahousaga mannadabagumba ama thoklibani haina ngakkanu.
13 No, the more you share the sufferings of the Christ, the more may you rejoice, that, when the time comes for the manifestation of his Glory, you may rejoice and exult.
Adubu nakhoina Christtagi awaba khaangbagi saruk phangminnabani haina haraojou, maduna Ibungo mahakki matik mangal phongdokpa matamda nakhoi haraobana thannanabani.
14 If you are reviled for bearing the name of Christ, count yourselves blessed; because the divine Glory and the Spirit of God are resting upon you.
Christtagi minggidamak misingna nakhoibu ikaiba pirabadi nakhoi yaiphabani, maramdi matik mangalgi amadi Tengban Mapugi Thawaina nakhoigi nathakta leibire.
15 I need hardly say that no one among you must suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or a criminal, or for interfering in matters which do not concern Christians.
Adubu karigumba nakhoina awaba khaangba tarabadi, madu mihatpa, nattraga huranba, nattraga karigumba atoppa makhal amagi maral leiraba, nattraga mathou nattana migi thabakta khut thingjinba mi amagumna oiroidabani.
16 But, if a man suffers as a Christian, do not let him be ashamed of it; let him bring honour to God even though he bears that name.
Adumakpu nakhoina Christian ama oina awaba khaanglabadi maduda nahak ikaiganu, adubu nahakna Christtagi mingbu pujabagidamak nakhoina Tengban Mapubu thagatchou.
17 For the time has come for judgment to begin with the House of God; and, if it begins with us, what will be the end of those who reject God’s Good News?
Tengban Mapugi imungdagi wayenba houbagi matam adu youre; wayenba asi eikhoidagi hanna hourabadi, Tengban Mapugi Aphaba Pao indaba makhoigi poloi adu kari oigani?
18 If ‘a good man is saved only with difficulty, what will become of the godless and the sinful?’
Asumna Mapugi puyana hai, “Achumba chatpa mibu wana kanbirabadi; Tengban Mapu ningdaba amasung pap chenbasingdi kari oigani?”
19 Therefore, I say, let those who suffer, because God wills it so, commit their lives into the hands of a faithful Creator, and persevere in doing right.
Maram aduna Tengban Mapugi aningba matung inna awaba khaangba makhoina makhoi masabu thajaba yaba Sembiba Mapuda sinnajaduna aphaba thabak touduna leigadabani.
