< Zechariah 6 >
1 I looked up again, and [in the vision] I saw four chariots coming toward me. [They were coming] between two mountains [that were made] of bronze.
Elelikwara m anya elu ọzọ hụ ụgbọ ịnyịnya anọ nke si nʼetiti ugwu abụọ na-apụta. Ugwu ndị a bụ ugwu e ji bronz mee.
2 The first chariot [was pulled by] red horses, the second chariot [was pulled by] black horses,
Ụgbọ ịnyịnya nke mbụ ka ịnyịnya na-acha ọbara ọbara na-adọkpụ. Nke abụọ ka ịnyịnya na-eji nji na-adọkpụ.
3 the third chariot [was pulled by] white horses, and the fourth chariot [was pulled by] spotted gray horses. They were all very strong horses.
Nke atọ ka ịnyịnya dị ọcha na-adọkpụ, ma nke anọ ka ịnyịnya tụrụ agwa siekwa ike na-adọkpụ.
4 I asked the angel who had been speaking to me, “Sir, what do those chariots mean?”
Ajụrụ m mmụọ ozi ahụ na-agwa m okwu, “Gịnị ka ihe ndị a bụ, nna m ukwu?”
5 The angel replied, “They have come from standing in the presence of the Lord who controls/rules the entire earth. They will go across the sky in four directions.
Mmụọ ozi ahụ zara m, sị, “Ndị a bụ mmụọ anọ nke eluigwe, ka ha na-apụ mgbe ha guzochara nʼihu Onyenwe elu ụwa niile.
6 The chariot [pulled by] black horses will go north, the [one pulled by] white horses will go west, the one [pulled by] spotted gray horses will go south.”
Ụgbọala nke ịnyịnya ndị dị oji na-adọkpụ na-aga nʼakụkụ ugwu. Nke ịnyịnya ndị dị ọcha na-adọkpụ na-aga nʼọdịda anyanwụ. Nke ahụ ndị ịnyịnya na-adịghị ezi ọcha na-adọkpụ na-aga nʼakụkụ ndịda.”
7 When those powerful horses left, their [chariot-drivers] were eager to go throughout the world. [As they were leaving, ] the angel said to them, “Go throughout the world [and see what is happening]!” So that is what they did.
Mgbe ịnyịnya ndị ahụ dị ike pụtara, chọọ ka e nye ha ike ijegharị nʼụwa niile, ọ gwara ha sị, “Gaanụ jegharịa nʼụwa niile.” Nʼihi ya, ha pụrụ jegharịa nʼụwa niile.
8 Then the angel called to me [and said], “Look/Listen, the [drivers of the] chariots that have gone north will do what the Spirit [of Yahweh wants them to do] there.”
Mgbe ahụ, ọ gwara m, “Ndị ahụ jere nʼakụkụ ugwu emeela ka Mmụọ m dajụọ nʼala dị nʼakụkụ ugwu.”
9 Then Yahweh gave me [another] message.
Okwu Onyenwe anyị ruru m ntị, sị,
10 He said, “Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah will be bringing some silver and gold from the people who were (exiled in/forced to go to) Babylon. As soon as they arrive, go to the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah.
“Gaa nata Heldai, Tobaija na Jedaya, ndị a dọtara nʼagha si Babilọn lọta ọlaọcha na ọlaedo. Nʼotu ụbọchị ahụ, gakwaa nʼụlọ Josaya nwa Zefanaya.
11 Take [some of that] silver and gold from them and make a crown. Then put it on the head of Jehozadak’s son Joshua, the Supreme Priest.
Jiri ọlaọcha na ọlaedo ahụ kpụọ otu okpueze, were ya kpukwasị Joshua nwa Jehozadak bụ onyeisi nchụaja nʼisi.
12 Tell him that [I], the Commander of the armies of angels, say that the man who is called the Branch will come. He will leave the place where he is now, and he will [supervise those who] build my temple.
Gwa ya na ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile kwuru, ‘Nke a bụ nwoke ahụ aha ya bụ Ngalaba. Ọ ga-esi nʼebe nke ya wapụta wuo ụlọnsọ ukwu nke Onyenwe anyị.
13 He is the one who [will tell those who] will build my temple [what to do]. He will wear royal clothing and he will sit on his throne and rule. There will also be a priest [sitting] next to his throne, and the two of them will work together harmoniously.
Ọ bụ ya ga-arụ ụlọnsọ ukwu nke Onyenwe anyị. A ga-eyikwasịkwa ya ịma mma dịka uwe, ọ ga-anọdụ nʼocheeze ya na-achị. Ọ ga-abụ onye nchụaja ga-anọ nʼocheeze ya, mee ka ịdị nʼotu dịrị nʼetiti ha abụọ.’
14 The crown must be [kept] in my temple to remind people of what Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Josiah [did for them].
Okpueze ahụ ka a ga-enye Heldaya, Tobaija, Jedaya na Hen, nwa Zefanaya, ka ọ bụrụ ihe ncheta nʼụlọnsọ ukwu nke Onyenwe anyị.
15 People who are [living] far away will come and [help to] build my temple. When that happens, the people will know that [I], the Commander of the armies of angels, have sent you to them. [That will happen] if they faithfully obey me, Yahweh, your/their God.”
Ndị nọ nʼebe dị anya ga-esi ebe ahụ bịa nye aka nʼọrụ iwu ụlọnsọ ukwu nke Onyenwe anyị. Unu ga-amatakwa na ọ bụ Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile zitere m ịbịakwute unu. Ihe ndị a niile ga-eme ma ọ bụrụ na unu akpachapụ anya rubere Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu isi.”
