< Zechariah 6 >

1 I looked up again, and [in the vision] I saw four chariots coming toward me. [They were coming] between two mountains [that were made] of bronze.
Angqoi moe, ka doeng tahang let naah, khenah, mae hnetto salak hoiah angzo hrang lakok hnetto ka hnuk; to mae loe sum tacawthaih mae ah oh o.
2 The first chariot [was pulled by] red horses, the second chariot [was pulled by] black horses,
Hmaloe ih hrang lakoknawk loe kathim hrangnawk mah ruet o; hnetto haih hrang lakok loe kamnum hrangnawk mah ruet o;
3 the third chariot [was pulled by] white horses, and the fourth chariot [was pulled by] spotted gray horses. They were all very strong horses.
thumto haih hrang lakok loe kanglung hrangnawk mah ruet o moe, palito haih hrang lakok loe aem kaom kanglung bok hrangnawk mah ruet o.
4 I asked the angel who had been speaking to me, “Sir, what do those chariots mean?”
Kai hoi lokpae van kami khaeah, Ka angraeng, hae hmuennawk loe tih thuih koehhaih ih aa? tiah ka naa.
5 The angel replied, “They have come from standing in the presence of the Lord who controls/rules the entire earth. They will go across the sky in four directions.
Van kami mah kai khaeah, Hae hmuennawk loe long pum ukkung Angraeng hmaa hoiah tacawt, van muithla sarihto thuih koehhaih ih ni.
6 The chariot [pulled by] black horses will go north, the [one pulled by] white horses will go west, the one [pulled by] spotted gray horses will go south.”
Kamnum hrang loe aluek bang prae ah caeh, kanglung hrangnawk loe nihcae hnukah bang o, aem kaom hrangnawk loe aloih bang prae ah caeh o.
7 When those powerful horses left, their [chariot-drivers] were eager to go throughout the world. [As they were leaving, ] the angel said to them, “Go throughout the world [and see what is happening]!” So that is what they did.
Hrangnawk loe caeh o, long pum ahnuk ahma caeh hanah koeh o: to naah anih mah, Long pum ah caeh oh, tiah a naa. To pongah nihcae loe long pum ahnuk ahma caeh o boih.
8 Then the angel called to me [and said], “Look/Listen, the [drivers of the] chariots that have gone north will do what the Spirit [of Yahweh wants them to do] there.”
To pacoengah anih mah kai khaeah, Khenah, aluek bang prae ah kacaeh hrangnawk mah aluek bang prae ah Ka muithla to monghaih paek boeh, tiah ang naa.
9 Then Yahweh gave me [another] message.
Angraeng ih lok kai khaeah angzoh:
10 He said, “Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah will be bringing some silver and gold from the people who were (exiled in/forced to go to) Babylon. As soon as they arrive, go to the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah.
misong ah ohhaih Babylon prae hoiah amlaem Heldai, Tobijah hoi Jedaih khaeah caeh oh; sui hoi sum kanglung to lak o pacoengah, to na niah Zephaniah capa Josiah ih im ah caeh oh;
11 Take [some of that] silver and gold from them and make a crown. Then put it on the head of Jehozadak’s son Joshua, the Supreme Priest.
sui hoi sum kanglung to la oh, angraeng lumuek to sah oh loe, Jehozadak capa kalen qaima, Joshua ih lu ah angmuek o sak ah;
12 Tell him that [I], the Commander of the armies of angels, say that the man who is called the Branch will come. He will leave the place where he is now, and he will [supervise those who] build my temple.
misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng mah, Khenah, TANGHANG, tiah ahmin kaom kami loe, a ohhaih ahmuen hoiah tanghang to tacawt tahang ueloe, Angraeng ih tempul to sah tih:
13 He is the one who [will tell those who] will build my temple [what to do]. He will wear royal clothing and he will sit on his throne and rule. There will also be a priest [sitting] next to his throne, and the two of them will work together harmoniously.
anih mah Angraeng ih tempul to sah tih; anih loe lensawkhaih hoiah amthoep ueloe, uk hanah angraeng tangkhang nuiah anghnu tih; anih loe angmah ih angraeng tangkhang nuiah qaima ah om tih: nihnik loe angdaehhaih sah hoi tih, tiah thuih, tiah thui paeh, tiah ang naa.
14 The crown must be [kept] in my temple to remind people of what Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Josiah [did for them].
Angraeng lumuek loe, panoek poe hanah Angraeng ih tempul ah suem oh, to lumuek loe Helem, Tobijah, Jedaiah hoi Zephaniah capa Hen cae hanah om tih.
15 People who are [living] far away will come and [help to] build my temple. When that happens, the people will know that [I], the Commander of the armies of angels, have sent you to them. [That will happen] if they faithfully obey me, Yahweh, your/their God.”
Ahmuen kangthla ah kaom kaminawk to angzo o ueloe, Angraeng ih tempul to sak abomh o tih, to naah misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng mah nangcae khaeah kai patoeh, tito na panoek o tih. Angraeng na Sithaw ih lok to kahoih ah na tahngai o nahaeloe to tiah om tih, tiah a naa.
