Psalms 98
1 Sing to Yahweh a new song, because he has done wonderful things! By his power [MTY] and his great strength [DOU] he has defeated [his enemies].
Canten a Yavé un canto nuevo, Porque Él hizo maravillosas cosas. Su mano derecha y su santo brazo ganaron la victoria para Él.
2 Yahweh has declared to people that he has defeated his enemies; he has revealed that he has punished [them], and [people in] all the world have seen that he has done it.
Yavé hizo notoria su salvación. Ha manifestado su justicia a la vista de las naciones.
3 Like he promised to us Israeli people [MTY], he has faithfully loved us and (been loyal to/not abandoned) us. [People who live] in very remote places in all the earth have seen that our God has defeated [his enemies].
Ha recordado su misericordia y su fidelidad a la casa de Israel. Todos los confines de la tierra vieron la salvación de nuestro ʼElohim.
4 All you [people] [MTY] everywhere should sing joyfully to Yahweh; praise him while you sing and shout joyfully!
¡Aclamen a Yavé toda la tierra! ¡Prorrumpan y canten de gozo y canten salmos!
5 Praise Yahweh while you play the lyres/harps, playing [delightful] music.
Canten salmos a Yavé con arpa Y con voz de canto,
6 [Some of you should] blow trumpets and other horns, [while others] shout joyfully to Yahweh, [our] king.
Con trompetas y al sonido de la corneta. ¡Aclamen con gozo ante el Rey Yavé!
7 The oceans and all [the creatures] that are in the oceans should roar [to praise Yahweh]. Everyone on the earth should sing!
Brame el mar y los que moran en él, El mundo, y los que en él habitan.
8 [It should seem as though] the rivers are clapping their hands [to praise Yahweh] and that the hills are singing together joyfully in front of Yahweh,
Batan sus manos los ríos. Que las montañas en conjunto se regocijen
9 because he will come to judge [everyone on] [MTY] the earth! He will judge [all] the people-groups [in the world] justly and fairly [DOU].
Delante de Yavé, Porque Él viene a juzgar la tierra. Juzgará al mundo con justicia, Y a los pueblos con equidad.
