Psalms 98
1 Sing to Yahweh a new song, because he has done wonderful things! By his power [MTY] and his great strength [DOU] he has defeated [his enemies].
੧ਭਜਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਓ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਾਂਹ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਫ਼ਤਹ ਪਾਈ ਹੈ।
2 Yahweh has declared to people that he has defeated his enemies; he has revealed that he has punished [them], and [people in] all the world have seen that he has done it.
੨ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ਤਹ ਪਰਗਟ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਧਰਮ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਖੀਂ ਵਿਖਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
3 Like he promised to us Israeli people [MTY], he has faithfully loved us and (been loyal to/not abandoned) us. [People who live] in very remote places in all the earth have seen that our God has defeated [his enemies].
੩ਉਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਦਯਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਲਈ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਕੰਢਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਤਹ ਨੂੰ ਡਿੱਠਾ ਹੈ।
4 All you [people] [MTY] everywhere should sing joyfully to Yahweh; praise him while you sing and shout joyfully!
੪ਹੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਿਓ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਲਲਕਾਰਾ ਮਾਰੋ, ਰਾਗ ਛੇੜੋ, ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰ ਕਰੋ, ਭਜਨ ਗਾਓ,
5 Praise Yahweh while you play the lyres/harps, playing [delightful] music.
੫ਬਰਬਤ ਵਜਾ ਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਭਜਨ ਗਾਓ, ਰਸੀਲੇ ਸੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਬਰਬਤ ਵਜਾ ਕੇ
6 [Some of you should] blow trumpets and other horns, [while others] shout joyfully to Yahweh, [our] king.
੬ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਰਸਿੰਗੇ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਲਲਕਾਰੋ।
7 The oceans and all [the creatures] that are in the oceans should roar [to praise Yahweh]. Everyone on the earth should sing!
੭ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਦੇਵੇ, ਜਗਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀ ਵੀ।
8 [It should seem as though] the rivers are clapping their hands [to praise Yahweh] and that the hills are singing together joyfully in front of Yahweh,
੮ਨਦੀਆਂ ਤਾਲ ਦੇਣ, ਪਰਬਤ ਰਲ ਕੇ ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ,
9 because he will come to judge [everyone on] [MTY] the earth! He will judge [all] the people-groups [in the world] justly and fairly [DOU].
੯ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹਜ਼ੂਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਧਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
