Psalms 98

1 Sing to Yahweh a new song, because he has done wonderful things! By his power [MTY] and his great strength [DOU] he has defeated [his enemies].

Dziesma. Dziediet Tam Kungam jaunu dziesmu, jo Viņš dara brīnumus; Viņš palīdz ar Savu labo roku un ar Savu svēto elkoni.

2 Yahweh has declared to people that he has defeated his enemies; he has revealed that he has punished [them], and [people in] all the world have seen that he has done it.

Tas Kungs ir zināmu darījis Savu pestīšanu, tautu priekšā Viņš parādījis Savu taisnību.

3 Like he promised to us Israeli people [MTY], he has faithfully loved us and (been loyal to/not abandoned) us. [People who live] in very remote places in all the earth have seen that our God has defeated [his enemies].

Viņš pieminējis Savu žēlastību un Savu uzticību Israēla namam, un visi zemes gali redz mūsu Dieva pestīšanu.

4 All you [people] [MTY] everywhere should sing joyfully to Yahweh; praise him while you sing and shout joyfully!

Gavilējiet Tam Kungam, visa zeme, skandinājiet priecīgi, līksmojaties priecīgi un dziediet.

5 Praise Yahweh while you play the lyres/harps, playing [delightful] music.

Dziediet Tam Kungam ar koklēm, ar koklēm un dziesmas skaņu,

6 [Some of you should] blow trumpets and other horns, [while others] shout joyfully to Yahweh, [our] king.

Ar trumetēm un ar bazūņu skaņu, gavilējiet tā ķēniņa, Tā Kunga priekšā.

7 The oceans and all [the creatures] that are in the oceans should roar [to praise Yahweh]. Everyone on the earth should sing!

Lai jūra krāc un kas iekš tās ir, zemes virsas un kas tur dzīvo.

8 [It should seem as though] the rivers are clapping their hands [to praise Yahweh] and that the hills are singing together joyfully in front of Yahweh,

Lai upes plaukšķina, un kalni lai kopā līksmojās

9 because he will come to judge [everyone on] [MTY] the earth! He will judge [all] the people-groups [in the world] justly and fairly [DOU].

Tā Kunga priekšā, jo Viņš nāk zemi tiesāt; Viņš tiesās pasauli ar taisnību un tos ļaudis ar tiesu.
