Psalms 98

1 Sing to Yahweh a new song, because he has done wonderful things! By his power [MTY] and his great strength [DOU] he has defeated [his enemies].

O, Pag-awit kang Yahweh ug bag-ong awit, tungod kay nagbuhat siya ug katingalahan nga mga butang; ang iyang tuong kamot ug ang iyang balaang bukton naghatag kaniya ug kadaogan.

2 Yahweh has declared to people that he has defeated his enemies; he has revealed that he has punished [them], and [people in] all the world have seen that he has done it.

Gipahayag ni Yahweh ang iyang kaluwasan; ug dayag niyang gipakita ang iyang hustisya sa tanang kanasoran.

3 Like he promised to us Israeli people [MTY], he has faithfully loved us and (been loyal to/not abandoned) us. [People who live] in very remote places in all the earth have seen that our God has defeated [his enemies].

Gihinumdoman niya ang iyang maunongon ug matinud-anon nga kasabotan ngadto sa panimalay ni Israel; ang tibuok kalibotan makakita sa kadaogan sa atong Dios.

4 All you [people] [MTY] everywhere should sing joyfully to Yahweh; praise him while you sing and shout joyfully!

Panagsinggit sa kalipay ngadto kang Yahweh, tibuok kalibotan, singgit diha sa mga pag-awit, pag-awit diha sa kalipay, ug pag-awit sa mga pagdayeg.

5 Praise Yahweh while you play the lyres/harps, playing [delightful] music.

Pag-awit ug mga pagdayeg ngadto kang Yahweh pinaagi sa alpa, inubanan sa alpa ug maanindot nga tono sa awit.

6 [Some of you should] blow trumpets and other horns, [while others] shout joyfully to Yahweh, [our] king.

Inubanan sa mga trumpeta ug ugong sa budyong, pagmugna ug malipayong panaghugyaw atubangan sa Hari, nga si Yahweh.

7 The oceans and all [the creatures] that are in the oceans should roar [to praise Yahweh]. Everyone on the earth should sing!

Pasinggita ang kadagatan ug ang tanan nga anaa niini, ang kalibotan ug ang tanang lumolupyo niini!

8 [It should seem as though] the rivers are clapping their hands [to praise Yahweh] and that the hills are singing together joyfully in front of Yahweh,

Ang kasapaan mopalakpak, ug ang kabukiran managsinggit sa kalipay.

9 because he will come to judge [everyone on] [MTY] the earth! He will judge [all] the people-groups [in the world] justly and fairly [DOU].

Moabot si Yahweh aron maghukom sa kalibotan; magahukom siya sa kalibotan inubanan sa katarong ug ang kanasoran inubanan sa kaangayan.
