Psalms 96
1 Sing to Yahweh a new song! [You people] throughout the earth, sing to Yahweh!
Cantae ao Senhor um cantico novo, cantae ao Senhor toda a terra.
2 Sing to Yahweh and praise him [MTY]! Every day proclaim [to others] that he has saved/rescued us.
Cantae ao Senhor, bemdizei o seu nome; annunciae a sua salvação de dia em dia.
3 Tell about his glory/greatness to all people-groups; tell all people-groups the marvelous [things that he has done].
Annunciae entre as nações a sua gloria; entre todos os povos as suas maravilhas.
4 Yahweh is great, and he deserves to be praised very much; he should be revered more than for all the gods,
Porque grande é o Senhor, e digno de louvor, mais tremendo do que todos os deuses.
5 because all the gods that other people-groups [worship] are [only] idols, but Yahweh [is truly great]; he created the skies!
Porque todos os deuses dos povos são idolos, mas o Senhor fez os céus.
6 Those who are in his presence honor him and can see that he is a great king. They can see in his temple that he is very powerful and is very beautiful.
Gloria e magestade estão ante a sua face, força e formosura no seu sanctuario.
7 You people in nations all over the earth, praise Yahweh! Praise Yahweh for his glorious power [HEN]!
Dae ao Senhor, ó familias dos povos, dae ao Senhor gloria e força.
8 Praise Yahweh like he deserves to be praised, Bring an offering and come to his temple.
Dae ao Senhor a gloria devida ao seu nome: trazei offerenda, e entrae nos seus atrios.
9 Bow down before Yahweh [when he appears] in his holy/sacred temple; everyone on the earth should tremble in front of him, because he is majestic and holy.
Adorae ao Senhor na belleza da sanctidade: tremei diante d'elle toda a terra.
10 Say to all the people-groups, “Yahweh is the king! He put the world in its place, and nothing will ever be able to move/shake it. He will judge [all] the people-groups fairly.”
Dizei entre as nações que o Senhor reina: o mundo tambem se firmará para que se não abale: julgará os povos com rectidão.
11 [All the beings that are in] [MTY] the heavens should be glad, and all [the people on the] earth should rejoice. The oceans and all the creatures that are in the oceans should roar [to praise Yahweh].
Alegrem-se os céus, e regozije-se a terra: brama o mar e a sua plenitude.
12 The fields and everything that grows in them should rejoice. When they do that, [it will be as though] all the trees in the forests will sing joyfully
Alegre-se o campo com tudo o que ha n'elle: então se regozijarão todas as arvores do bosque,
13 in front of Yahweh. That will happen when he comes to judge [everyone on] [MTY] the earth. He will judge all the people fairly/justly, according to [what he knows is] true.
Ante a face do Senhor, porque vem, porque vem a julgar a terra: julgará o mundo com justiça e os povos com a sua verdade.
