Psalms 96
1 Sing to Yahweh a new song! [You people] throughout the earth, sing to Yahweh!
CANTATE al Signore un nuovo cantico; Cantate, o [abitanti di] tutta la terra, al Signore.
2 Sing to Yahweh and praise him [MTY]! Every day proclaim [to others] that he has saved/rescued us.
Cantate al Signore, benedite il suo Nome; Predicate di giorno in giorno la sua salute.
3 Tell about his glory/greatness to all people-groups; tell all people-groups the marvelous [things that he has done].
Raccontate fra le genti la sua gloria, E le sue maraviglie fra tutti i popoli.
4 Yahweh is great, and he deserves to be praised very much; he should be revered more than for all the gods,
Perciocchè il Signore [è] grande, e degno di sovrana lode; Egli [è] tremendo sopra tutti gl'iddii.
5 because all the gods that other people-groups [worship] are [only] idols, but Yahweh [is truly great]; he created the skies!
Perciocchè tutti gl'iddii de' popoli [sono] idoli; Ma il Signore ha fatti i cieli.
6 Those who are in his presence honor him and can see that he is a great king. They can see in his temple that he is very powerful and is very beautiful.
Maestà e magnificenza [sono] davanti a lui; Forza e gloria [sono] nel suo santuario.
7 You people in nations all over the earth, praise Yahweh! Praise Yahweh for his glorious power [HEN]!
Date al Signore, o generazioni de' popoli, Date al Signore gloria e forza.
8 Praise Yahweh like he deserves to be praised, Bring an offering and come to his temple.
Date al Signore la gloria [dovuta] al suo Nome; Portategli offerte, e venite ne' suoi cortili.
9 Bow down before Yahweh [when he appears] in his holy/sacred temple; everyone on the earth should tremble in front of him, because he is majestic and holy.
Adorate il Signore nel magnifico santuario; Tremate, o [abitanti di] tutta la terra, per la sua presenza.
10 Say to all the people-groups, “Yahweh is the king! He put the world in its place, and nothing will ever be able to move/shake it. He will judge [all] the people-groups fairly.”
Dite fra le genti: Il Signore regna; Il mondo sarà pure stabilito, [e] non sarà [più] smosso; Egli giudicherà i popoli in dirittura.
11 [All the beings that are in] [MTY] the heavens should be glad, and all [the people on the] earth should rejoice. The oceans and all the creatures that are in the oceans should roar [to praise Yahweh].
Rallegrinsi i cieli, e gioisca la terra; Risuoni il mare, e quello ch'è in esso.
12 The fields and everything that grows in them should rejoice. When they do that, [it will be as though] all the trees in the forests will sing joyfully
Festeggi la campagna, e tutto quello ch'è in essa. Allora tutti gli alberi delle selve daranno voci d'allegrezza,
13 in front of Yahweh. That will happen when he comes to judge [everyone on] [MTY] the earth. He will judge all the people fairly/justly, according to [what he knows is] true.
Nel cospetto del Signore; perciocchè egli viene, Egli viene per giudicar la terra; Egli giudicherà il mondo in giustizia, Ed i popoli nella sua verità.
