Psalms 96
1 Sing to Yahweh a new song! [You people] throughout the earth, sing to Yahweh!
Kasakkung: Devit Oe BAWIPA koe la katha sak awh. Talai taminaw pueng, BAWIPA koe la sak awh.
2 Sing to Yahweh and praise him [MTY]! Every day proclaim [to others] that he has saved/rescued us.
BAWIPA koe la sak awh nateh, a min teh pholen awh. Rungngangnae kamthang kahawi teh hnintangkuem pathang awh.
3 Tell about his glory/greatness to all people-groups; tell all people-groups the marvelous [things that he has done].
Miphun pueng koe a bawilennae teh pâpho awh haw. Tami pueng koe kângairu lah a onae hah pâpho awh.
4 Yahweh is great, and he deserves to be praised very much; he should be revered more than for all the gods,
BAWIPA teh a len, puenghoi pholen hanelah ao, Cathut pueng hlak taki hanelah ao,
5 because all the gods that other people-groups [worship] are [only] idols, but Yahweh [is truly great]; he created the skies!
Miphunlouknaw e cathut pueng teh ayawmyin doeh. BAWIPA ni teh kalvan hah a sak.
6 Those who are in his presence honor him and can see that he is a great king. They can see in his temple that he is very powerful and is very beautiful.
A hmalah barinae hoi taluenae teh ao. A hmuen kathoung koe thaonae hoi meihawinae teh ao.
7 You people in nations all over the earth, praise Yahweh! Praise Yahweh for his glorious power [HEN]!
Oe, tami pueng hoi imthung pueng, BAWIPA teh bawilennae hoi thaonae hah poe awh.
8 Praise Yahweh like he deserves to be praised, Bring an offering and come to his temple.
BAWIPA e min teh, bawilennae poe awh. Pasoung hno sin laihoi a thongma koe tho awh.
9 Bow down before Yahweh [when he appears] in his holy/sacred temple; everyone on the earth should tremble in front of him, because he is majestic and holy.
Oe, thoungnae kamthoup laihoi BAWIPA bawk awh. Talai taminaw pueng a hmalah pâyaw awh.
10 Say to all the people-groups, “Yahweh is the king! He put the world in its place, and nothing will ever be able to move/shake it. He will judge [all] the people-groups fairly.”
Miphun pueng koe BAWIPA ni a uk tet awh. Talaivan hai kacaklah kangdue sak teh, kâhuen mahoeh. Ama ni kalan lah lawk a ceng han.
11 [All the beings that are in] [MTY] the heavens should be glad, and all [the people on the] earth should rejoice. The oceans and all the creatures that are in the oceans should roar [to praise Yahweh].
Kalvan teh lunghawi naseh, talai hai konawm naseh. Talîpui hoi a thung e kaawm e pueng ni hai cairing naseh.
12 The fields and everything that grows in them should rejoice. When they do that, [it will be as though] all the trees in the forests will sing joyfully
Law hoi a thung e kaawm e pueng lunghawi naseh. kahrawng e kaawm e pueng nihai BAWIPA koe konawm laihoi la sak naseh.
13 in front of Yahweh. That will happen when he comes to judge [everyone on] [MTY] the earth. He will judge all the people fairly/justly, according to [what he knows is] true.
