Psalms 96
1 Sing to Yahweh a new song! [You people] throughout the earth, sing to Yahweh!
Angraeng khaeah laa kangtha to sah oh; long kaminawk boih, Angraeng khaeah laa to sah oh.
2 Sing to Yahweh and praise him [MTY]! Every day proclaim [to others] that he has saved/rescued us.
Angraeng khaeah laa to sah oh loe, anih ih ahmin to tahamhoihaih paek oh; nito pacoeng nito anih pahlonghaih to amtueng o sak ah.
3 Tell about his glory/greatness to all people-groups; tell all people-groups the marvelous [things that he has done].
Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk khaeah anih lensawkhaih to taphong oh loe, kaminawk boih khaeah a sak ih dawnrai hmuennawk to thui oh.
4 Yahweh is great, and he deserves to be praised very much; he should be revered more than for all the gods,
Angraeng loe lensawk moe, pakoeh han krak; anih loe sithawnawk boih thungah zit han koiah oh.
5 because all the gods that other people-groups [worship] are [only] idols, but Yahweh [is truly great]; he created the skies!
Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk ih sithawnawk loe sakcop ih krang rumram tok ni; toe vannawk loe Angraeng mah ni sak.
6 Those who are in his presence honor him and can see that he is a great king. They can see in his temple that he is very powerful and is very beautiful.
Anih ih ahmin lensawkhaih hoi thacakhaih loe angmah hmaa ah oh; thacakhaih hoi a lensawkhaih loe a hmuenciim ah oh.
7 You people in nations all over the earth, praise Yahweh! Praise Yahweh for his glorious power [HEN]!
Aw prae boih ah kaom acaeng kaminawk boih, Angraeng khaeah angpaek oh, lensawkhaih hoi thacakhaih to Angraeng khaeah paek oh.
8 Praise Yahweh like he deserves to be praised, Bring an offering and come to his temple.
Anih ih ahmin lensawkhaih to Angraeng khaeah paek oh; paek han koi hmuen to sin oh loe, angmah ih imthung ah angzo oh.
9 Bow down before Yahweh [when he appears] in his holy/sacred temple; everyone on the earth should tremble in front of him, because he is majestic and holy.
Kaciim hmuen hoi amthoep oh loe, Angraeng to bok oh; long kaminawk boih, anih hmaa ah tasoeh oh.
10 Say to all the people-groups, “Yahweh is the king! He put the world in its place, and nothing will ever be able to move/shake it. He will judge [all] the people-groups fairly.”
Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk salakah, Angraeng mah uk, tiah thui oh; angthuih han ai ah, long to caksak tih; anih mah kaminawk to toenghaih hoiah lokcaek tih.
11 [All the beings that are in] [MTY] the heavens should be glad, and all [the people on the] earth should rejoice. The oceans and all the creatures that are in the oceans should roar [to praise Yahweh].
Vannawk loe anghoe o nasoe, long loe oep nasoe; tuipui hoi athung ah kaom hmuennawk boih mah atuen to tacawt o sak nasoe;
12 The fields and everything that grows in them should rejoice. When they do that, [it will be as though] all the trees in the forests will sing joyfully
laikoknawk hoi laikok thungah kaom hmuennawk boih anghoe o nasoe; taw thungah kaom thingnawk mah Angraeng hmaa ah anghoehaih laa to sah o tih.
13 in front of Yahweh. That will happen when he comes to judge [everyone on] [MTY] the earth. He will judge all the people fairly/justly, according to [what he knows is] true.
Anih loe angzoh boeh, anih loe long lokcaek hanah angzo tih; anih loe long to toenghaih hoiah lokcaek ueloe, kaminawk to a loktang lok hoiah lokcaek tih.
