Psalms 87

1 The city that Yahweh established is on his sacred hill.

De los hijos de Coré. Salmo. Cántico. ¡Él la fundó sobre los montes santos!

2 He loves that city, Jerusalem, more than he loves any other city in Israel.

Yahvé ama las puertas de Sión más que todos los tabernáculos de Jacob.

3 [You people in] [APO] the city that God (owns/lives in), people say wonderful things about your city.

¡Oh ciudad de Dios, de ti se dicen cosas gloriosas!

4 [Some of those who know about God are the people of] Egypt and Babylonia, and also [the people of] Philistia and Tyre and Ethiopia; [some day they all] will say, “[Although I was not born in Jerusalem], [because I belong to Yahweh, it is as though] I was born there.”

“Contaré a Rahab y a Babel entre los que me conocen; he aquí a Filistea y a Tiro y al pueblo de los etíopes: han nacido allí.”

5 And concerning Jerusalem, people will say [“It is as though] everyone was born there, and Almighty God will cause that city to remain strong/safe/secure.”

Así se dirá de Sión: “Uno por uno, todos han nacido en ella, y es el mismo Altísimo quien la consolidó.”

6 Yahweh will write a list of [the names of] the people of various groups [who belong to him], and he will say that [he considers them] all to be citizens of Jerusalem.

Y en el libro de los pueblos, Yahvé escribirá: “Estos nacieron allí.”

7 They will all dance and sing, saying, “Jerusalem is the source of all our blessings.”

Y cantarán danzando: “Todas mis fuentes están en Ti.”
