Psalms 87

1 The city that Yahweh established is on his sacred hill.

१कोरहवंशियों का भजन उसकी नींव पवित्र पर्वतों में है;

2 He loves that city, Jerusalem, more than he loves any other city in Israel.

२और यहोवा सिय्योन के फाटकों से याकूब के सारे निवासों से बढ़कर प्रीति रखता है।

3 [You people in] [APO] the city that God (owns/lives in), people say wonderful things about your city.

३हे परमेश्वर के नगर, तेरे विषय महिमा की बातें कही गई हैं। (सेला)

4 [Some of those who know about God are the people of] Egypt and Babylonia, and also [the people of] Philistia and Tyre and Ethiopia; [some day they all] will say, “[Although I was not born in Jerusalem], [because I belong to Yahweh, it is as though] I was born there.”

४मैं अपने जान-पहचानवालों से रहब और बाबेल की भी चर्चा करूँगा; पलिश्त, सोर और कूश को देखो: “यह वहाँ उत्पन्न हुआ था।”

5 And concerning Jerusalem, people will say [“It is as though] everyone was born there, and Almighty God will cause that city to remain strong/safe/secure.”

५और सिय्योन के विषय में यह कहा जाएगा, “इनमें से प्रत्येक का जन्म उसमें हुआ था।” और परमप्रधान आप ही उसको स्थिर रखे।

6 Yahweh will write a list of [the names of] the people of various groups [who belong to him], and he will say that [he considers them] all to be citizens of Jerusalem.

६यहोवा जब देश-देश के लोगों के नाम लिखकर गिन लेगा, तब यह कहेगा, “यह वहाँ उत्पन्न हुआ था।” (सेला)

7 They will all dance and sing, saying, “Jerusalem is the source of all our blessings.”

७गवैये और नृतक दोनों कहेंगे, “हमारे सब सोते तुझी में पाए जाते हैं।”
