Psalms 87

1 The city that Yahweh established is on his sacred hill.

कोराह के पुत्रों की रचना. एक स्तोत्र. एक गीत. पवित्र पर्वत पर उन्होंने अपनी नींव डाली है;

2 He loves that city, Jerusalem, more than he loves any other city in Israel.

याकोब के समस्त आवासों की अपेक्षा, याहवेह को ज़ियोन के द्वार कहीं अधिक प्रिय हैं.

3 [You people in] [APO] the city that God (owns/lives in), people say wonderful things about your city.

परमेश्वर के नगर, तुम्हारे विषय में यशस्वी बातें लिखी गई हैं,

4 [Some of those who know about God are the people of] Egypt and Babylonia, and also [the people of] Philistia and Tyre and Ethiopia; [some day they all] will say, “[Although I was not born in Jerusalem], [because I belong to Yahweh, it is as though] I was born there.”

“अपने परिचितों के मध्य मैं राहाब और बाबेल का लेखा करूंगा, साथ ही फिलिस्तिया, सोर और कूश का भी, और फिर मैं कहूंगा, ‘यही है वह, जिसकी उत्पत्ति ज़ियोन में हुई है.’”

5 And concerning Jerusalem, people will say [“It is as though] everyone was born there, and Almighty God will cause that city to remain strong/safe/secure.”

ज़ियोन के विषय में यही घोषणा की जाएगी, “इसका भी जन्म ज़ियोन में हुआ और उसका भी, सर्वोच्च परमेश्वर ही ने ज़ियोन को बसाया है.”

6 Yahweh will write a list of [the names of] the people of various groups [who belong to him], and he will say that [he considers them] all to be citizens of Jerusalem.

याहवेह अपनी प्रजा की गणना करते समय लिखेगा: “इसका जन्म ज़ियोन में हुआ था.”

7 They will all dance and sing, saying, “Jerusalem is the source of all our blessings.”

संगीत की संगत पर वे गाएंगे, “तुम्हीं में मेरे आनंद का समस्त उगम हैं.”
