Psalms 87

1 The city that Yahweh established is on his sacred hill.

૧કોરાના દીકરાઓનું ગીત; ગાયન. નગરનો પાયો પવિત્ર પર્વત પર સ્થાપેલો છે.

2 He loves that city, Jerusalem, more than he loves any other city in Israel.

૨યાકૂબના સર્વ તંબુઓ કરતાં, સિયોનના દરવાજાઓ યહોવાહને વધુ પ્રિય છે.

3 [You people in] [APO] the city that God (owns/lives in), people say wonderful things about your city.

૩હે ઈશ્વરના નગર, તારા વિષે ગૌરવની વાતો કહેવાય છે. (સેલાહ)

4 [Some of those who know about God are the people of] Egypt and Babylonia, and also [the people of] Philistia and Tyre and Ethiopia; [some day they all] will say, “[Although I was not born in Jerusalem], [because I belong to Yahweh, it is as though] I was born there.”

૪હું મારા અનુયાયીઓમાં રાહાબ તથા બાબિલનો ઉલ્લેખ કરું છું. જુઓ, ત્યાં પલિસ્તી અને તૂર, કૂશ સાથે છે. આનો જન્મ ત્યાં થયો હતો.

5 And concerning Jerusalem, people will say [“It is as though] everyone was born there, and Almighty God will cause that city to remain strong/safe/secure.”

૫વળી સિયોન વિષે કહેવાશે કે, “દરેકનો સિયોનમાં જન્મ થયો; અને પરાત્પર પોતે તેને સ્થિર રાખશે.”

6 Yahweh will write a list of [the names of] the people of various groups [who belong to him], and he will say that [he considers them] all to be citizens of Jerusalem.

૬યહોવાહ લોકોને નોંધશે ત્યારે તે ગણશે કે, “આનો જન્મ ત્યાં થયો.” (સેલાહ)

7 They will all dance and sing, saying, “Jerusalem is the source of all our blessings.”

૭વળી સર્વ ગાનારાઓ તથા નાચનારાઓ કહેશે, “મારા સર્વ ઝરાઓ તમારામાં છે.”
