Psalms 87

1 The city that Yahweh established is on his sacred hill.

Ang iyang patukoranan anaa sa mga bukid nga balaan.

2 He loves that city, Jerusalem, more than he loves any other city in Israel.

Nahigugma si Jehova sa mga ganghaan sa Sion Labaw pa kay sa tanang mga puloy-anan ni Jacob.

3 [You people in] [APO] the city that God (owns/lives in), people say wonderful things about your city.

Mga butang nga mahimayaon mao ang gihisgutan tungod kanimo, Oh ciudad sa Dios. (Selah)

4 [Some of those who know about God are the people of] Egypt and Babylonia, and also [the people of] Philistia and Tyre and Ethiopia; [some day they all] will say, “[Although I was not born in Jerusalem], [because I belong to Yahweh, it is as though] I was born there.”

Akong pagahisgutan si Rahab ug ang Babilonia ingon sa taliwala kanila nga nanagpakaila kanako: Ania karon, ang Filistia, ug ang Tiro, uban ang Etiopia: Kini siya natawo didto.

5 And concerning Jerusalem, people will say [“It is as though] everyone was born there, and Almighty God will cause that city to remain strong/safe/secure.”

Oo, mahitungod sa Sion igaingon: Kini siya ug kadto siya natawo didto kaniya; Ug ang Hataas Uyamut sa iyang kaugalingon maoy magapalig-on kaniya.

6 Yahweh will write a list of [the names of] the people of various groups [who belong to him], and he will say that [he considers them] all to be citizens of Jerusalem.

Si Jehova magaisip, sa diha nga magasulat siya sa mga katawohan, Kini siya natawo didto. (Selah)

7 They will all dance and sing, saying, “Jerusalem is the source of all our blessings.”

Kadtong mga nanag-awit ug ingon man ang mga nanagsayaw manag-ingon: Ang tanan ko nga mga tuboran anaa kanimo.
