< Psalms 75 >

1 We give thanks to you; our God, we thank you. You are close to us, and we proclaim to others the wonderful things that you have done [for us].
Asaf ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la, ne woadzii ɖe “Mègagblẽ nu o” ƒe gbeɖiɖi nu. O! Mawu, míeda akpe na wò, míeda akpe na wò, elabena wò ŋkɔ tsɔ ɖe mía gbɔ, eye amewo le wò nukunuwo xlẽm fia.
2 [You have said], “I have appointed a time when I will judge people, and I will judge [everyone] fairly.
Ègblɔ be, “Meɖo ɣeyiɣi da ɖi, elabena nyee adrɔ̃ ʋɔnu le dzɔdzɔenyenye me.
3 When the earth shakes and all the creatures on the earth tremble, I am the one who will (keep its foundations steady/prevent it from being destroyed).
Ne anyigba kple edzinɔlawo ʋuʋu kpekpekpe la, nyee léa eƒe sɔtiwo ɖe asi sesĩe. (Sela)
4 I say to people who (boast/talk proudly about themselves), ‘Stop bragging!’ and I say to wicked people, ‘Do not proudly [do things to] show how great you are [IDM]!
Megblɔ na ɖokuiŋudzelawo be, ‘Midzudzɔ dada,’ eye na ame vɔ̃ɖi be, ‘Mègakɔ wò dzo ɖe dzi o.
5 Do not be arrogant, and do not speak so boastfully!’”
Mègakɔ wò dzowo ɖe dzi ɖe dziƒo ŋu o, eye mègahe ve hafi nànɔ nu ƒom o.’”
6 The one who judges people does not come from the east or from the west, and he does not come from the desert.
Dodoɖedzi metsoa ɣedzeƒe, ɣetoɖoƒe alo gbegbe vana na ame o,
7 God is the one who judges people; he says that some have sinned and must be punished, and that others have not done what is wrong.
ke boŋ Mawue nye afiatsola, eɖea ame sia le zi dzi, eye wòdoa ame kemɛ ɖe dzi.
8 [It is as though] Yahweh holds a cup in his hand; it is filled with wine that [has spices] mixed in it [to cause those who drink it to become more drunk]; and when Yahweh pours it out, he will force all the wicked people to drink it; they will drink every drop of it, [which means that he will give them all the punishment that they deserve].
Kplu aɖe le Yehowa ƒe asi me, wain si lɔ fu ɖe nu, eye wotsɔ nu ʋeʋĩ tɔtɔe la le eme; ekui na ame vɔ̃ɖi siwo le anyigba dzi, wonoe, no ahaƒã si le egɔme la hã ƒiaƒiaƒia.
9 But [as for me], I will never stop saying what the God whom Jacob [worshiped has done]; I will never quit singing to praise him.
Ke nye la, manɔ esia gblɔm ɖaa be; madzi kafukafuha na Yakob ƒe Mawu la;
10 He will destroy the power [IDM] of wicked people, but he will cause righteous people to become more powerful.
maŋe ame vɔ̃ɖiwo ƒe dzowo, ke woado ame dzɔdzɔewo ƒe dzowo ɖe dzi.
