< Psalms 75 >
1 We give thanks to you; our God, we thank you. You are close to us, and we proclaim to others the wonderful things that you have done [for us].
Aw Khawsa, na venawh zeelnaak awi kqawn unyng, nang ming a zoe dawngawh, zeelnaak awi kqawn unyng; thlangkhqi ing nak kawpoek kyi ik-oeih sai ce kqawn uhy.
2 [You have said], “I have appointed a time when I will judge people, and I will judge [everyone] fairly.
Nang ing, A tym ka hoep ce tyk nyng saw; kai ing ni ak thym na awi ka deng.
3 When the earth shakes and all the creatures on the earth tremble, I am the one who will (keep its foundations steady/prevent it from being destroyed).
Khawmdek ingkaw thlang boeih aming thyn awh, tungkhqi ak cak na ak tu ce kai ni.
4 I say to people who (boast/talk proudly about themselves), ‘Stop bragging!’ and I say to wicked people, ‘Do not proudly [do things to] show how great you are [IDM]!
Ak oek qu venawh, ‘Koeh oek qu voel,’ tina nyng saw, thlakche venawh, nak ki koeh thawh.
5 Do not be arrogant, and do not speak so boastfully!’”
Khan benna nak ki koeh thawh, na hawng zyng nawhtaw awi koeh kqawn,” ti hyk ti.
6 The one who judges people does not come from the east or from the west, and he does not come from the desert.
Khawlaw ben nakawng ing aw khawtlak ben nakawng awh aw ce am awhtaw qamkoh nakawng ing aw u ingawm thalng pynoet am zoeksang thai hy.
7 God is the one who judges people; he says that some have sinned and must be punished, and that others have not done what is wrong.
Cehlai, Khawsa ing ni awi a deng: pynoet ce tlaak sak nawh pynoet ce zoeksang hy.
8 [It is as though] Yahweh holds a cup in his hand; it is filled with wine that [has spices] mixed in it [to cause those who drink it to become more drunk]; and when Yahweh pours it out, he will force all the wicked people to drink it; they will drink every drop of it, [which means that he will give them all the punishment that they deserve].
Bawipa a kut awh misur tui ak hawm cawt cawt a bawk tui ing ak kqit ce awm hy; anih ing ce a boet ce nuk hawk hy, cawh khawmdek awhkaw thlakchekhqi boeih ing a dik a hawi mahna aw boeih uhy.
9 But [as for me], I will never stop saying what the God whom Jacob [worshiped has done]; I will never quit singing to praise him.
Kai ingtaw ve ve kumqui dyna kqawn vang; Jacob Khawsa kyihcahnaak laa ce sa vang nyng.
10 He will destroy the power [IDM] of wicked people, but he will cause righteous people to become more powerful.
Thlakchekhqi ak ki ce hlyng pe kawng nyng saw, thlakdyngkhqi ak ki taw zoeksang pekawng.
