< Psalms 73 >

1 God truly is good to [us] Israeli people, to those who totally want to do all that God desires.
Yahweh Pakai chu Isreal te din aphai, hitobanga lungthimtheng ho dinga chun.
2 As for me, I almost [stopped trusting in God]; [it was as though] my feet slipped and I stumbled [MET],
Keima din vang, kalamjotna beikoncha bou ahitai. Kalamlhong anal in lhulham pai ding kahitai.
3 because I envied those who proudly [said that they did not need God], and I saw that they prospered [even though] they were wicked.
Ajeh chu keiman mikiletsahho gitlou bol pum hijong leu akhangtou u kamuteng ka otchalheh jin ahi.
4 Those people do not have any pains; they are [always] strong and healthy.
Amaho hi atahsa'u aphatheiyin, adamthei un, ahattheiyun lungkhamna imacha neilou dan'in aum jiuve.
5 They do not have the troubles/difficulties that other people have; they do not have problems like others do.
Amaho hin midang bang'in boina imacha aneipouvin midangho'n aneiyu lunggimna amahon imacha aneipouve.
6 So they are proud, and their being proud is [like] a necklace [that they show to others], and they show off their violent actions like people show off their beautiful robes.
Amahon kiletsahna songmantam a kisem khivui bang'in aki ouvin, gitlouna chu pon bang'in akisil'un ahi.
7 From their inner beings they (pour out/do) evil deeds, and they are always thinking about more evil things to do.
Hiche miboltheiho hin alungsung uva angaichat chan'u anei un ahi.
8 They scoff at [other people], and they talk about doing evil things to them; they are proud while they plan to oppress others.
Amahon mi jahda dingngen aseijun kiletsah tah in midang chu suhmang ding ago uvin ahi.
9 They say evil things about [God who is in] heaven [MTY], and they talk boastfully/proudly about things [that they have done] here on the earth.
Amahon van douna'n thu asei uvin a-o cheng'un leiset pumpi asamsesoh jeng'un ahi.
10 The result is that people listen to what they say and praise them and do not think that they have done anything that is wrong.
Hiti chun mipiho'n athusei u hi ajah uleh akicha uvin akisulungdong gam tauvin ahi.
11 Wicked people say [to themselves], “God will certainly not [RHQ] know [what we have done]; [people say that] he is greater than any other god, but he does not know [everything].”
Elohim Pathen'in ipi ahet am? “Hatchungnung in thilsohho hi ahena dem?” atiuve.
12 That is what wicked people are like; they never worry about anything, and they are always becoming richer.
Hiche migilouho hi veuvin hinkhonom amang un ahao tultul jeng'un ahi.
13 [So, God], I think it is useless that I have [RHQ] always done what you want me to, and that I have not sinned.
Imacha phachomlou ding'a lungthim theng ka put ham? Themmona beihel'a hinkho ka man hi mohseh ham?
14 All day long I have problems, and every morning you punish me.
Nilhumkei in imacha phatchomna ka mupon hahsatna ngen ka mu jo'n ahi, jingkah seh in lunggimna ngen in eilonvuh in ahi.
15 If I had said the things that the wicked people say, I would have been sinning against your people.
Keiman hitiahi ka seikhah a ahileh na mi ka hilou hijeng inte.
16 And when I tried to think about all this, it was very difficult for me [to understand it].
Hijeh chun keiman miphalouho hi i-atileh khangtou cheh cheh u ham ti hetchet ding'in ka khol'in ahi. Ahinla iti hahsat hitam?
17 But when I went to your temple, [you spoke to me], and I understood what will happen to the wicked people [after they die].
Hichun O Pathen Elohim, nangma muntheng'a ka lut'in ahileh ajona in migiloute akhankho diu chu kahin hedoh tan ahi.
18 [Now I know that] you will surely put them in slippery places, and they will fall down and die.
Tahbeh in nang'in amaho hi lhuh nathei munjeng a nakoi ahin alhuh gam nadiu a kiling gih geh songpi chung a nakoi joh ahi.
19 They will be destroyed instantly; they will die in terrible ways.
Chomkah lou in amaho amahthahgam tauvin ahi, tijatna'n alhohmang gam tauve.
20 They [will disappear as quickly] as a dream disappears when a person awakes in the morning; Lord, when you arise, you will (cause them to disappear/forget all about them).
O Yahweh Pakai nangma na hung kipatdoh tengleh nang'in amaho ngolna chu na nuisat ding ahi, mikhat in jingkah lang'a amang anuisat tobang bou ahi.
21 When I felt sad/bitter, and brokenhearted,
Hijouchun ka lungsung analheh jeng'in, hiti chun ka sunggil lang achiplha jeng'in ahi.
22 I was stupid and ignorant, and I behaved like an animal toward you.
Keima vang mingol le thilhethemlou kana hi-Nang a ding chun khohephalou gamsa tobang bep ka na hi bouve.
23 But I am always close to you, and you hold my hand.
Henge keima nang'a ka hi jing'e, nang man ka jetlang na tuh jingnai.
24 You guide me by teaching me, and (at the end [of my life]/when I die), you will receive me and honor me.
Na chihna'n eikaihoi jing in, munloupi tah chu neilhut ding ahi.
25 You are in heaven and I belong to you [RHQ], and there is nothing on this earth that I desire more than that.
Van a nang tailou koidangba ka nei ding ham? Leiset chung'a thildang jouse sang'in jong kalung in na ngaicha joi.
26 My body and my mind may become very weak, but God, you continue to enable me to be strong; I belong to you forever.
Ka tahsa bei henlang ka lhagao lhadai jongleh, Elohim Pathen chu ka lungthim'a ka hatna ahijing'in Amahi tonsot a kei a ahijing'e.
27 Those who remain far from you will be destroyed; you will get rid of those who abandon you.
Ama dalhaho jouse chu mahthah ding ahiuve, ajeh chu nangma dalhaho jouse chu nangman na sumang jin ahi.
28 But [as for] me, it is wonderful to be near to God and to be protected by Yahweh, and to proclaim to others all that he has done [for me].
Ahinla keima ding'in Elohim Pathen kom nai hi iti phat a hitam! Keiman vang Yahweh Pakai Lengchungnung chu ka kiselna ahijing e, chule keiman na thilbol kidangho hi mijouse ka seipeh ding ahi.
