Psalms 71
1 Yahweh, I have come to you to (get refuge/be protected); never allow me to become ashamed [because of being defeated].
हे परमप्रभु, म तपाईंमा शरण लिन्छु । मलाई कदापि लाजमा नपार्नुहोस् ।
2 Because you always do what is right, help me and rescue me; listen to me, and save me!
मलाई बचाउनुहोस् र तपाईंको धार्मिकतामा मलाई सुरक्षित राख्नुहोस् । तपाईंको काम मतिर फर्काउनुहोस् र मलाई बचाउनुहोस् ।
3 Be [like an overhanging] rock [MET] under which I [can be] safe/protected; [be like] a strong fortress in which I am safe [DOU]. You [continually] command (OR, [Continually] command) [your angels] to rescue me.
मेरो निम्ति चट्टान हुनुहोस् जहाँ म सधैं जान सकूँ । तपाईंले मलाई बचाउन आज्ञा दिनुभएको छ, किनकि तपाईं मेरो चट्टान र मेरो किल्ला हुनुहुन्छ ।
4 God, rescue me from wicked [people], from the power of unjust and evil men.
हे परमेश्वर, दुष्टहरूका हातबाट, अधर्मी र निर्दयीहरूका हातबाट मलाई बचाउनुहोस् ।
5 Yahweh, my Lord, you are the one whom I confidently expect [to help me]; I have trusted in you since I was young.
किनकि हे परमप्रभु परमेश्वर, तपाईं मेरो आसा हुनुहुन्छ । मेरो बालक हुँदादेखि नै मैले तपाईंमा भरोसा राखेको छु ।
6 I have depended on you all my life; you have taken care of me [IDM] since the day that I was born, [so] I will always praise you.
म गर्भमा हुँदादेखि नै तपाईंले मलाई सहारा दिनुभएको छ । मेरो आमाको गर्भदेखि मलाई बहिर निकाल्ने तपाईं नै हुनुहुन्छ । मेरो प्रशंसा सधैं तपाईंको बारेमा नै हुनेछ ।
7 The manner in which I have conducted my life has been an example to many [people], because [they realize that] you have been my strong defender.
धेरै जना मानिसका निम्ति म उदाहरण भएको छु । तपाईं मेरो बलियो शरण हुनुहुन्छ ।
8 I praise you all day long, and I proclaim that you are glorious/wonderful.
मेरो मुख तपाईंको प्रशंसाले, दिनभरि नै तपाईंको आदरले भरिनेछ ।
9 Now, when I have become an old man, do not reject/abandon me; do not abandon me now, when I am not strong any more.
मेरो वृद्ध अवस्थामा मलाई टढा नफाल्नुहोस् । मेरो बल कमजोर हुँदा मलाई नत्याग्नुहोस् ।
10 My enemies say [that they want to kill] me; they plan together [how they can do that].
किनकि मेरा शत्रुहरूले मेरो बारेमा कुरा गर्दैछन् । मेरो ज्यान लिन खोज्नेहरूले एकसाथ षड्यान्त्र गर्दैछन् ।
11 They say [about me], “God has abandoned him; so now we can pursue him and seize him, because there is no one who will rescue him.”
तिनीहरू भन्छन्, “परमेश्वरले त्यसलाई त्याग्नुभएको छ । लखेटेर त्यसलाई समात्, किनकि त्यसलाई बचाउने कोही पनि छैन ।”
12 God, do not stay far away from me; hurry to help me!
हे परमेश्वर, मबाट टाढा नहुनुहोस् । हे मेरो परमेश्वर, मलाई सहायता गर्न चाँडो गर्नुहोस् ।
13 Cause those who (accuse me/say that I have done things that are wrong) to be defeated and destroyed; cause those who want to harm me to be shamed and disgraced.
तिनीहरू लाजमा परून् र नाश होऊन्, जसले मेरो जीवनसँग शत्रुता गर्छन् । तिनीहरू हप्की र अनादरले ढाकिऊन्, जसले मलाई चोट पुर्याउन खोज्छन् ।
14 But [as for me], I will continually and confidently expect [you to do great things for me], and I will praise you more and more.
तर म सधैं तपाईंमा आसा गर्नेछु र म तपाईंको झन् धेरै स्तुति गाउनेछु ।
15 I will tell people that you do what is right; all day long I will tell people how you have saved me, although what you have done is more than I can fully understand.
मैले तपाईंको धार्मिकता र तपाईंको मुक्तिलाई नबुझे तापनि, मेरो मुखले दिनभरि त्यसैको बारेमा भन्नेछ ।
16 Yahweh, my Lord, I will praise you for your mighty deeds; I will proclaim that only you always act justly.
म परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको शक्तिशाली कामहरूसँगै आउनेछु । म तपाईंको, केवल तपाईंको धार्मिकताको वर्णन गर्नेछु ।
17 God, you have taught me [many/those things] ever since I was young, and I still tell people about your wonderful deeds.
हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंले मलाई मेरो युवावस्थादेखि नै सिकाउनुभएको छ । अहिले पनि म तपाईंको अचम्मका कामहरू घोषणा गर्नेछु ।
18 And now, God, when I am old and my hair is gray, do not abandon me. [Stay with me] while I continue to proclaim to my children and grandchildren [HYP] that you are [very] powerful!
वास्तवमा, हे परमेश्वर, म वृद्ध हुँदा र मेरो कपाल फुल्दा पनि मलाई नत्याग्नुहोस्, जसरी मैले तपाईंको सामर्थ्य अर्को पुस्तालाई, तपाईंको शक्ति आउनेवाला हरेकलाई घोषणा गरिरहेको छु ।
19 God, you do many righteous deeds; [it is as though] they extend up to the sky. You have done great things; there is no one like you [RHQ].
हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंको धार्मिकता धेरै उच्च छ । हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंले महान् कुराहरू गर्नुभएको छ, तपाईंजस्तो को छ र?
20 You have caused me to have many troubles and to suffer much, [but] you will cause me to become strong again; when I am almost dead [HYP], you will keep me alive.
तपाईंले मलाई धेरै कष्टहरू देख्न दिनुभयो तपाईंले नै हामीलाई फेरि जागृत पार्नुहुनेछ र हामीलाई पृथ्वीको गहिराइबाट फेरि माथि ल्याउनुहुनेछ ।
21 You will cause me to be greatly honored and you will encourage/comfort me again.
तपाईंले मेरो इज्जत वृद्धि गर्नुहोस् । फेरि फर्कनुहोस् र मलाई सान्त्वना दिनुहोस् ।
22 I will also praise you [while I play] my harp; I will praise you, my God, for faithfully [doing what you have promised to do]. I will play hymns to praise you, the holy God whom [we] Israelis [worship].
हे मेरो परमेश्वर, तपाईंको सत्यताको निम्ति वीणा बजाएर म तपाईंलाई धन्यवाद चढाउनेछु । हे इस्राएलको परम पवित्र, सारङ्गी बजाएर म तपाईंको स्तुति गाउनेछु ।
23 I [SYN] will shout joyfully while I play [the harp] for you; with my entire inner being I will sing because you have rescued me.
जब म तपाईंको प्रशंसाका गीतहरू गाउनेछु, तब मेरा ओठहरू आनन्दले कराउनेछन्— मेरो प्राणले पनि जसलाई तपाईंले उद्धार गर्नुभएको छ ।
24 All day long I will tell people that you act righteously, because those who wanted to harm me will have been defeated and disgraced.
मेरो जिब्रोले पनि दिनभरि तपाईंको धार्मिकताको बारेमा बताउनेछ । किनकि तिनीहरू लाजमा र गोलमाल पारिएका छन् जसले मलाई चोट पुर्याउन खोजे ।
