Psalms 67

1 God, be merciful to us and bless us; be kind to us [IDM],

[Dem Vorsänger, mit Saitenspiel. Ein Psalm, ein Lied. [Eig. Ein Lied-Psalm] ] Gott sei uns gnädig und segne uns, er lasse sein Angesicht leuchten über [W. mit, bei] uns, (Sela)

2 in order that [everyone in] the world may know what you want them to do, and [the people of] all nations may know that you [have the power to] save [them].

Daß man auf der Erde erkenne deinen Weg, unter allen Nationen deine Rettung!

3 God, I desire that [all] people-groups [will] praise you; I want them all to praise you!

Es werden [O. mögen; so auch v 4 u. 5] dich preisen die Völker, o Gott; es werden [O. mögen; so auch v 4 u. 5] dich preisen die Völker alle.

4 I desire that [the people of all] nations will be glad and sing joyfully, because you judge the people-groups equally/justly, and you guide [all] nations in the world.

Es werden sich freuen und jubeln die Völkerschaften; denn du wirst die Völker richten in Geradheit, und die Völkerschaften auf der Erde, du wirst sie leiten. (Sela)

5 God, I desire that the people-groups [will] praise you; I want them all to praise you!

Es werden dich preisen die Völker, o Gott; es werden dich preisen die Völker alle.

6 Good crops have grown on our land; God, our God, has blessed us.

Die Erde gibt ihren Ertrag; Gott, unser Gott, wird uns segnen.

7 [And because] God has blessed us, I desire that all [people] everywhere [MTY] on the earth will revere him.

Gott wird uns segnen, und alle Enden der Erde werden ihn fürchten.
