< Psalms 63 >
1 God, you are the God whom I [worship]. I greatly desire to be with you like [SIL] a person in a dry hot desert greatly desires [some cool water].
Nkunga Davidi mu thangu kaba mu dikanga di Yuda. A Nzambi! Ngeyo widi Nzambiꞌama, mu kiedika ngeyo ndintomba; muelꞌama wulembo moni phuila yi ngeyo; nitu ama tsatu yidi mu kumona mu tsi yi yuma; yibiva; yikondolo nlangu;
2 So, I want to see you in your temple; I want to see that you are great and glorious.
Ndimmona mu buangu kinlongo ndimona lulendo luaku ayi nkembo aku.
3 Your constantly loving [me] is (worth more/more precious) than [my] life, so I [MTY] will [always] praise you.
Bila luzolo luaku luviatukidi luzingu; bididi biama biela kukembisa.
4 I will praise you all the time that I live; I will lift up my hands to you while I pray.
Ndiela kuzitisa thangu yoso ndidi moyo. Mu diambu di dizina diaku, ndiela vumuna mioko miama ku yilu.
5 [Knowing you satisfies me more than] [IDM, MET] my eating a very big feast, [so] I will praise you while I sing [MTY] joyful songs.
Muelꞌama wela yukuta banga kimvuama kiwombo ki bidia mu minkunga bididi bi munu ama biela kuzitisa.
6 While I lie on my bed, I think about you. I think/meditate about you all during the night,
Va mbukꞌama ndikutebukilanga moyo ndieti kuyindula builu bu mvimba.
7 because you have always helped me, and I sing joyfully knowing that I am protected by you [as a little bird is protected] under [its mother’s] wings [MET].
Bila ngeyo lusadusu luama, ayi ndilembo yimbila ku tsi kitsusula ki mavavi maku.
8 I cling to you; and with your hand/power you protect me.
Muelꞌama widi wukangama mu ngeyo; ayi koko kuaku kulubakala kueti kukhindisa.
9 But those who are trying to kill me will [die and] descend into the place of the dead;
Bobo beti tomba luzingu luama bela bungana; bela kota kuna tsi ntoto.
10 they will be killed in battles [MTY] and their [corpses] will be eaten by jackals/wild dogs.
Bela kuba yekula mu lulendo lu sabala; bela kituka bidia bi zimbua zi nsitu.
11 But I, the king [of Israel], will rejoice in what God has done; and all those who revere and trust God will praise him, but he will not allow liars to say anything.
Vayi Ntinu wela mona khini mu Nzambi; baboso bobo banleva ndefi mu dizina di Nzambi bela kunzitisa. Bila miunu mi bankua luvunu miela kangama.
