Psalms 63
1 God, you are the God whom I [worship]. I greatly desire to be with you like [SIL] a person in a dry hot desert greatly desires [some cool water].
Um salmo de David, quando ele estava no deserto de Judá. God, você é meu Deus. Vou procurá-lo com seriedade. Minha alma tem sede por você. Minha carne anseia por você, em uma terra seca e cansada, onde não há água.
2 So, I want to see you in your temple; I want to see that you are great and glorious.
Então, eu o vi no santuário, observando seu poder e sua glória.
3 Your constantly loving [me] is (worth more/more precious) than [my] life, so I [MTY] will [always] praise you.
Porque sua bondade amorosa é melhor que a vida, meus lábios vos louvarão.
4 I will praise you all the time that I live; I will lift up my hands to you while I pray.
Portanto, eu o abençoarei enquanto eu viver. Levantarei minhas mãos em seu nome.
5 [Knowing you satisfies me more than] [IDM, MET] my eating a very big feast, [so] I will praise you while I sing [MTY] joyful songs.
Minha alma deve estar satisfeita como com os alimentos mais ricos. Minha boca vos louvará com lábios alegres,
6 While I lie on my bed, I think about you. I think/meditate about you all during the night,
quando me lembro de você na minha cama, e pensar em você nos relógios noturnos.
7 because you have always helped me, and I sing joyfully knowing that I am protected by you [as a little bird is protected] under [its mother’s] wings [MET].
Para você tem sido minha ajuda. Eu me regozijarei à sombra de suas asas.
8 I cling to you; and with your hand/power you protect me.
Minha alma permanece perto de você. Sua mão direita me segura para cima.
9 But those who are trying to kill me will [die and] descend into the place of the dead;
Mas aqueles que buscam minha alma para destruí-la devem ir para as partes mais baixas da terra.
10 they will be killed in battles [MTY] and their [corpses] will be eaten by jackals/wild dogs.
Eles serão entregues ao poder da espada. Devem ser comida de chacal.
11 But I, the king [of Israel], will rejoice in what God has done; and all those who revere and trust God will praise him, but he will not allow liars to say anything.
Mas o rei se regozijará em Deus. Todos que jurarem por ele irão elogiá-lo, pois a boca daqueles que falam mentiras será silenciada.
