< Psalms 62 >

1 God is the only one who can give me peace in my inner being, and he is the one who saves me [from my enemies].
Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ Yedutun. Dawid dwom. Me ɔkra wɔ ahomegyeɛ wɔ Onyankopɔn nko ara mu; me nkwagyeɛ firi ne nkyɛn.
2 Only he is like an [overhanging] rock [under which I can be safe] [MET]; he will be [like] a shelter, [with the result that] I will never be defeated [MET].
Ɔno nko ara ne me botan ne me nkwagyeɛ; ɔyɛ mʼaban, na merenhinhim da.
3 When will you, [my enemies], stop attacking me [RHQ]? I feel that I am [as useless against you as] a wall that is about to fall over or a broken-down fence [MET].
Mobɛkɔ so ahyɛ onipa baako so akɔsi da bɛn? Mo nyinaa mobɛsum no ahwe fam anaa? Mayɛ ɔfasuo a akyea, ɛban a ɛrebuo wɔ wɔn ani so.
4 My enemies plan to remove me from my important position so that people no longer honor me. They delight in telling lies. They bless people by what they say [MTY], but in their inner beings they curse [those people].
Wɔayɛ adwene sɛ wɔbɛtu me afiri me diberɛ a ɛkorɔn no so; wɔn ani gye atorɔ die ho. Wɔde wɔn ano hyira na wɔn akoma mu deɛ, wɔdome.
5 God is the only one who gives me peace in my inner being; he is the one whom I confidently expect [to help me].
Ao me kra, gye wʼahome wɔ Onyankopɔn nko ara mu; na ne mu na mʼanidasoɔ wɔ.
6 Only he is [like an overhanging] rock [under which I can be safe] [MET]; he is [like] a shelter, and [as a result] I will never be defeated.
Ɔno nko ara ne me botan ne me nkwagyeɛ; ɔyɛ mʼaban, na merenhinhim.
7 God is the one who saves me and honors me. He is [like an overhanging] strong rock under which I [can] find shelter [MET].
Me nkwagyeɛ ne mʼanimuonyam gyina Onyankopɔn so; ɔyɛ me botan a ɛkorɔn, ne me dwanekɔbea.
8 [You my] people, always trust in him. Tell him all your troubles, because he is (our refuge/the one who protects us) [MET].
Ao me nkurɔfoɔ, momfa mo ho nto ne so daa; monka mo akoma mu nsɛm nyinaa nkyerɛ no, ɛfiri sɛ Onyankopɔn ne yɛn dwanekɔbea.
9 People who are considered to be unimportant are [as worthless/unreliable as] a breath of air; people who are considered to be important [also] really (amount to nothing/cannot be trusted [to help us)]. If you put them all on a scale, [it would be as if] they weighed less than a puff of air.
Nnipa nyinaa te sɛ home; akɛseɛ ne nkumaa nyinaa nka hwee; sɛ wɔkari wɔn wɔ nsania so a, wɔnka hwee; wɔn nyinaa bɔ mu a, wɔyɛ home mu tutuo.
10 Do not trust in money gained by extorting it from others; do not try to gain anything by robbing others. If you become very wealthy, do not trust in [IDM] your money.
Mommfa mo ho nto nsisie so na monnhoahoa mo ho korɔnodeɛ ho; ɛwom sɛ mo ahonya dɔɔso deɛ, nanso mommfa mo akoma nto so.
11 I have heard God say more than once that he is the one who [really] has power,
Asɛm baako na Onyankopɔn aka, nsɛm mmienu na mateɛ sɛ, wo, Onyankopɔn, wo na wowɔ ahoɔden,
12 and that he is the one who faithfully loves [us]. He rewards every one [of us] according to the deeds that we do.
na wo, Awurade, wo na woyɛ adɔeɛ. Ampa ara, wobɛtua obiara ka sɛdeɛ nʼadwuma teɛ.
