Psalms 62
1 God is the only one who can give me peace in my inner being, and he is the one who saves me [from my enemies].
எதுத்தூன் என்னும் பாடகர் குழுத் தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். என் ஆத்துமா இறைவனில் இளைப்பாறுகிறது; என் இரட்சிப்பு அவரால் வருகிறது.
2 Only he is like an [overhanging] rock [under which I can be safe] [MET]; he will be [like] a shelter, [with the result that] I will never be defeated [MET].
அவரே என் கன்மலையும் என் இரட்சிப்பும் என் கோட்டையுமாய் இருக்கிறார்; நான் ஒருபோதும் அசைக்கப்படமாட்டேன்.
3 When will you, [my enemies], stop attacking me [RHQ]? I feel that I am [as useless against you as] a wall that is about to fall over or a broken-down fence [MET].
எவ்வளவு காலத்திற்கு நீங்கள் என்னைத் தாக்குவீர்கள்? நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் என்னைத் தூக்கி எறிந்துவிடுவீர்களா? நான் சாய்ந்த சுவரைப் போலவும் தள்ளப்பட்ட வேலியைப் போலவும் இருக்கிறேன்.
4 My enemies plan to remove me from my important position so that people no longer honor me. They delight in telling lies. They bless people by what they say [MTY], but in their inner beings they curse [those people].
என்னுடைய உயர்ந்த நிலையிலிருந்து என்னைத் தள்ளி வீழ்த்துவதற்கு அவர்கள் ஆலோசனை செய்கிறார்கள், அவர்கள் பொய்களில் மகிழ்ச்சி கொள்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் தங்கள் வாய்களினால் ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார்கள், ஆனால் தங்களுடைய இருதயங்களிலோ சபிக்கிறார்கள்.
5 God is the only one who gives me peace in my inner being; he is the one whom I confidently expect [to help me].
ஆம், என் ஆத்துமாவே, நீ இறைவனில் மட்டுமே இளைப்பாறு; என் நம்பிக்கை அவரிடத்தில் இருக்கிறது.
6 Only he is [like an overhanging] rock [under which I can be safe] [MET]; he is [like] a shelter, and [as a result] I will never be defeated.
அவரே என் கன்மலையும் என் இரட்சிப்பும் என் கோட்டையுமாயிருக்கிறார்; நான் அசைக்கப்படமாட்டேன்.
7 God is the one who saves me and honors me. He is [like an overhanging] strong rock under which I [can] find shelter [MET].
என் இரட்சிப்பும் என் கனமும் இறைவனிடத்தில் இருக்கிறது; இறைவன் என் பலமான கன்மலையும் என் புகலிடமுமாய் இருக்கிறார்.
8 [You my] people, always trust in him. Tell him all your troubles, because he is (our refuge/the one who protects us) [MET].
மக்களே, எக்காலத்திலும் அவரை நம்புங்கள்; உங்கள் இருதயங்களின் பாரங்களை அவரிடத்தில் இறக்கி வையுங்கள்; இறைவனே நமது புகலிடம்.
9 People who are considered to be unimportant are [as worthless/unreliable as] a breath of air; people who are considered to be important [also] really (amount to nothing/cannot be trusted [to help us)]. If you put them all on a scale, [it would be as if] they weighed less than a puff of air.
கீழ்க்குடி மனிதர் வெறும் சுவாசமே, உயர்குடி மனிதர் வெறும் பொய்யே; தராசில் நிறுக்கப்பட்டால் அவர்கள் ஒன்றுமில்லை; அவர்கள் சுவாசத்திலும் லேசானவர்கள்.
10 Do not trust in money gained by extorting it from others; do not try to gain anything by robbing others. If you become very wealthy, do not trust in [IDM] your money.
பயமுறுத்தி பறித்தெடுப்பதில் நம்பிக்கை வைக்காதே; களவாடிய பொருட்களைக் குறித்துப் பெருமைகொள்ளாதே; உனது செல்வங்கள் அதிகரித்தாலும், உன் இருதயத்தை அவைகளின்மேல் வைக்காதே.
11 I have heard God say more than once that he is the one who [really] has power,
இறைவன் ஒருமுறை பேசினார், நான் இரண்டுதரம் கேட்டிருக்கிறேன்: “இறைவனே, வல்லமை உமக்கே உரியது,
12 and that he is the one who faithfully loves [us]. He rewards every one [of us] according to the deeds that we do.
ஆண்டவரே, உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பும் உம்முடையது”; நிச்சயமாகவே, “நீர் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் அவனவன் செய்ததற்குத் தக்கதாக பலனளிப்பீர்.”
