< Psalms 62 >

1 God is the only one who can give me peace in my inner being, and he is the one who saves me [from my enemies].
NGEN i moleileilar ren Kot, me kotin sauasa ia.
2 Only he is like an [overhanging] rock [under which I can be safe] [MET]; he will be [like] a shelter, [with the result that] I will never be defeated [MET].
Pwe i eta ai paip, o sauas pa i, o pere pa i, pwe i en sota luetala kokolata.
3 When will you, [my enemies], stop attacking me [RHQ]? I feel that I am [as useless against you as] a wall that is about to fall over or a broken-down fence [MET].
Arai da komail kin masamasan ol ta men, pwen kamela, me rasong did pangpangla o kel me pual pasanger?
4 My enemies plan to remove me from my important position so that people no longer honor me. They delight in telling lies. They bless people by what they say [MTY], but in their inner beings they curse [those people].
Re kin madamadaua duen ar pan kak kapupedi i, re kadek likam, re kin lokaia kaselel, a nan mongiong arail re kin lalaue. (Sela)
5 God is the only one who gives me peace in my inner being; he is the one whom I confidently expect [to help me].
Ngen i, kaporoporeki Kot, pwe i kapore pa i.
6 Only he is [like an overhanging] rock [under which I can be safe] [MET]; he is [like] a shelter, and [as a result] I will never be defeated.
I eta ai paip o sauas pa i, o pere pa i, pwe i ender pupedi.
7 God is the one who saves me and honors me. He is [like an overhanging] strong rock under which I [can] find shelter [MET].
Ai maur mi ren Kot, o ai lingan, o ai paip, o ai kel; i kaporoporeki Kot.
8 [You my] people, always trust in him. Tell him all your troubles, because he is (our refuge/the one who protects us) [MET].
Komail aramas akan karos kaporoporeki i ansau karos; kasansale ong i mongiong omail, Kot kapore patail. (Sela)
9 People who are considered to be unimportant are [as worthless/unreliable as] a breath of air; people who are considered to be important [also] really (amount to nothing/cannot be trusted [to help us)]. If you put them all on a scale, [it would be as if] they weighed less than a puff of air.
A aramas akan sota meakot, o me lapalap akan pil kin sapungala. Ni men tenok re kin kokoda, menda ma irail me toto.
10 Do not trust in money gained by extorting it from others; do not try to gain anything by robbing others. If you become very wealthy, do not trust in [IDM] your money.
Komail der keleki omail dipisou sapung o der kaporoporeki me komail kuliadar. Ma komail pan kapwapwala, komail der kasampwaleki!
11 I have heard God say more than once that he is the one who [really] has power,
Kot kotikidar masan eu, me i ronger akai ansau, iet: Kot eta me manaman.
12 and that he is the one who faithfully loves [us]. He rewards every one [of us] according to the deeds that we do.
Komui Maing me kalangan o komui kin pwain ong amen amen duen a wiawia kan.
