< Psalms 62 >

1 God is the only one who can give me peace in my inner being, and he is the one who saves me [from my enemies].
Abụ Ọma nke dịrị onyeisi abụ. Maka Jedutun. Abụ Ọma Devid. Ọ bụ naanị nʼime Chineke ka mkpụrụobi m na-achọta izuike. Nzọpụta m na-esite na ya na-abịa.
2 Only he is like an [overhanging] rock [under which I can be safe] [MET]; he will be [like] a shelter, [with the result that] I will never be defeated [MET].
Naanị ya bụ oke nkume m na nzọpụta m; ọ bụ ebe mgbaba m e wusiri ike, agaghị m ama jijiji nʼọnọdụ m.
3 When will you, [my enemies], stop attacking me [RHQ]? I feel that I am [as useless against you as] a wall that is about to fall over or a broken-down fence [MET].
Ruo ole mgbe ka unu ga-anọgide na-ebuso agha megide nwoke a? Unu niile, unu chọrọ ịkwatu ya, ebe ọ bụ naanị mgbidi na-ada ada, mgbidi na-esighị ike e ji osisi wuo?
4 My enemies plan to remove me from my important position so that people no longer honor me. They delight in telling lies. They bless people by what they say [MTY], but in their inner beings they curse [those people].
(Sela)
5 God is the only one who gives me peace in my inner being; he is the one whom I confidently expect [to help me].
O mkpụrụobi m, chọta ezumike naanị nʼime Chineke; olileanya m na-esite na ya na-abịa.
6 Only he is [like an overhanging] rock [under which I can be safe] [MET]; he is [like] a shelter, and [as a result] I will never be defeated.
Naanị ya bụ oke nkume m, na onye nzọpụta m. Naanị ya kwa bụ ebe mgbaba m e wusiri ike, agaghị m ama jijiji nʼọnọdụ m.
7 God is the one who saves me and honors me. He is [like an overhanging] strong rock under which I [can] find shelter [MET].
Nzọpụta m na nsọpụrụ m dabeere na Chineke, Ọ bụ oke nkume m, ebe mgbaba m.
8 [You my] people, always trust in him. Tell him all your troubles, because he is (our refuge/the one who protects us) [MET].
Tụkwasịnụ ya obi mgbe niile, unu ndị mmadụ; kwupụtaranụ ya obi unu, nʼihi na Chineke bụ ebe mgbaba anyị. (Sela)
9 People who are considered to be unimportant are [as worthless/unreliable as] a breath of air; people who are considered to be important [also] really (amount to nothing/cannot be trusted [to help us)]. If you put them all on a scale, [it would be as if] they weighed less than a puff of air.
Ndị nta nʼetiti ụmụ mmadụ bụ naanị otu nkuume, ndị ukwu bụ naanị ụgha; ọ bụrụ na a tụọ ha nʼihe ọtụtụ, ha bụ ihe efu; ha niile bụ naanị otu nkuume.
10 Do not trust in money gained by extorting it from others; do not try to gain anything by robbing others. If you become very wealthy, do not trust in [IDM] your money.
Unu atụkwasịla obi unu nʼiji aka ike kpata ego, maọbụ tụkwasị olileanya unu nʼihe e zuru ezu; akụ unu nwere ike mụbaa, unu atụkwasịla ha obi.
11 I have heard God say more than once that he is the one who [really] has power,
Chineke ekwuola otu ihe, ihe abụọ ka m nụrụ: “Na gị, O Chineke, dị ike,
12 and that he is the one who faithfully loves [us]. He rewards every one [of us] according to the deeds that we do.
na gị, Onyenwe anyị, jupụtara nʼịhụnanya. Nʼezie, ị ga-akwụghachi onye ọbụla dịka ọrụ ya si dị.”
