Psalms 62
1 God is the only one who can give me peace in my inner being, and he is the one who saves me [from my enemies].
যিদূথূন, সংগীত পরিচালকের জন্য। দাউদের গীত। আমার প্রাণ নীরবে ঈশ্বরের অপেক্ষায় রয়েছে; আমার পরিত্রাণ তাঁর কাছ থেকেই আসে।
2 Only he is like an [overhanging] rock [under which I can be safe] [MET]; he will be [like] a shelter, [with the result that] I will never be defeated [MET].
সত্যিই তিনি আমার শৈল ও আমার পরিত্রাণ; তিনি আমার আশ্রয় দুর্গ, আমি কখনও বিচলিত হব না।
3 When will you, [my enemies], stop attacking me [RHQ]? I feel that I am [as useless against you as] a wall that is about to fall over or a broken-down fence [MET].
আর কত কাল শত্রুরা আমাকে লাঞ্ছনা করবে? তোমরা সকলে কি আমাকে নিচে ছুঁড়ে ফেলে দেবে? তাদের কাছে আমি এক ভাঙা প্রাচীর ও নড়বড়ে বেড়ার মতো!
4 My enemies plan to remove me from my important position so that people no longer honor me. They delight in telling lies. They bless people by what they say [MTY], but in their inner beings they curse [those people].
তারা নিশ্চয় আমাকে আমার উঁচু স্থান থেকে বিচ্যুত করতে চায়; তারা মিথ্যা কথায় আমোদ করে। তারা মুখ দিয়ে আশীর্বাদ করে, কিন্তু অন্তরে অভিশাপ দেয়।
5 God is the only one who gives me peace in my inner being; he is the one whom I confidently expect [to help me].
হে আমার প্রাণ, ঈশ্বরে বিশ্রাম খুঁজে নাও; কারণ তাঁতেই আমি আশা রেখেছি।
6 Only he is [like an overhanging] rock [under which I can be safe] [MET]; he is [like] a shelter, and [as a result] I will never be defeated.
সত্যিই তিনি আমার শৈল ও আমার পরিত্রাণ; তিনি আমার আশ্রয় দুর্গ, আমি কখনও বিচলিত হব না।
7 God is the one who saves me and honors me. He is [like an overhanging] strong rock under which I [can] find shelter [MET].
আমার পরিত্রাণ ও আমার সম্মান ঈশ্বরের কাছ থেকে আসে; তিনি আমার শক্তিশালী শৈল, আমার আশ্রয়।
8 [You my] people, always trust in him. Tell him all your troubles, because he is (our refuge/the one who protects us) [MET].
হে আমার ভক্তেরা, তাঁর উপর নিয়ত আস্থা রাখো; তাঁরই কাছে তোমাদের হৃদয় ঢেলে দাও, কারণ ঈশ্বর আমাদের আশ্রয়।
9 People who are considered to be unimportant are [as worthless/unreliable as] a breath of air; people who are considered to be important [also] really (amount to nothing/cannot be trusted [to help us)]. If you put them all on a scale, [it would be as if] they weighed less than a puff of air.
সাধারণ মানুষ নিঃশ্বাসমাত্র, সম্ভ্রান্ত মানুষ মিথ্যাতুল্য। যদি দাঁড়িপাল্লায় মাপা যায়, তারা কিছুই নয়; একত্রে তারা সামান্য নিঃশ্বাস।
10 Do not trust in money gained by extorting it from others; do not try to gain anything by robbing others. If you become very wealthy, do not trust in [IDM] your money.
তোমরা শোষণে নির্ভর কোরো না, অথবা লুন্ঠিত দ্রব্যে ব্যর্থ আশা রেখো না; তোমার ধনসম্পদ বৃদ্ধি পেলেও, তোমার হৃদয় যেন তাতে আসক্ত না হয়।
11 I have heard God say more than once that he is the one who [really] has power,
ঈশ্বর একবার বলেছেন, আমি দু-বার এই কথা শুনেছি: “হে ঈশ্বর, পরাক্রম তোমারই,
12 and that he is the one who faithfully loves [us]. He rewards every one [of us] according to the deeds that we do.
আর, হে সদাপ্রভু, অবিচল প্রেম তোমারই” এবং, “তুমি প্রত্যেক মানুষকে তাদের কাজ অনুসারে পুরস্কার দাও।”
