Psalms 61

1 God, listen to me, and answer my prayer [DOU]!

ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ നിലവിളി കേൾക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ പ്രാൎത്ഥന ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണമേ.

2 While I am discouraged and far from my home, I am calling out to you. Lead me to [the place that is like] a high rock [MET] on top of which I will be safe.

എന്റെ ഹൃദയം ക്ഷീണിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റത്തുനിന്നു നിന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും; എനിക്കു അത്യുന്നതമായ പാറയിങ്കലേക്കു എന്നെ നടത്തേണമേ.

3 You have been my refuge; you have been [like] a strong tower [MET] [in which I am safe] from being attacked by my enemies.

നീ എനിക്കൊരു സങ്കേതവും ശത്രുവിന്റെ നേരെ ഉറപ്പുള്ള ഗോപുരവും ആയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

4 Allow me to live close to your temple all during my life [HYP]! Allow me to be safe [MET], [like a little bird is safe] under [its mother’s] wings.

ഞാൻ നിന്റെ കൂടാരത്തിൽ എന്നേക്കും വസിക്കും; നിന്റെ ചിറകിൻ മറവിൽ ഞാൻ ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കും. (സേലാ)

5 God, you heard me when I solemnly promised [to give offerings to you]; you have given to me the blessings that belong to those who have an awesome respect for you [MTY].

ദൈവമേ, നീ എന്റെ നേൎച്ചകളെ കേട്ടു, നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവരുടെ അവകാശം എനിക്കു തന്നുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

6 [I am] the king [of Israel]; [please] allow me to live [and rule] for many years, and allow my descendants to rule [also].

നീ രാജാവിന്റെ ആയുസ്സിനെ ദീൎഘമാക്കും; അവന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ തലമുറതലമുറയോളം ഇരിക്കും.

7 Allow us to rule forever while you observe us; watch over us while you faithfully love us and do for us what you promised.

അവൻ എന്നേക്കും ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ വസിക്കും; അവനെ പരിപാലിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയും കല്പിക്കേണമേ,

8 If you do that, I will always sing to praise you [MTY] while I offer to you each day the sacrifices that I promised to give to you.

അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ തിരുനാമത്തെ എന്നേക്കും കീൎത്തിക്കയും എന്റെ നേൎച്ചകളെ നാൾതോറും കഴിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.
