Psalms 6
1 Yahweh, do not punish me when you are angry [with me]; Do not even rebuke/scold me [when you are angry].
Para el director del coro. Para acompañamiento de instrumentos de cuerda según el Seminit. Un salmo de David. Señor, por favor, no me condenes por causa de tu enojo hacia mi; por favor, no me castigues con tu ira.
2 Yahweh, be kind to me and heal me because I have become weak. My body [SYN] shakes because I am experiencing much pain.
Ten misericordia de mi, Señor, porque estoy débil; sáname, Señor, porque estoy enfermo hasta los huesos.
3 Yahweh, I am greatly distressed. How long ([must I endure this/will it be before you help me]) [RHQ]?
Tiemblo de miedo. ¿Hasta cuándo Señor, harás algo?
4 Yahweh, please come and rescue me. Save me because you faithfully love me.
Vuélvete hacia mi, Señor, ¡y rescátame! ¡Sálvame por tu gran amor!
5 I will not be able to praise you after I die [RHQ]; No one in the place of the dead praises you. (Sheol h7585)
Porque nadie recuerda cuando ya está muerto. ¿Quién podrá alabarte desde el sepulcro? (Sheol h7585)
6 I am exhausted/groan [from my pain]. At night I cry very much, with the result that my bed and my pillow become wet from my tears.
Mis gemidos me han consumido. Cada noche mi cama se inunda con mi llanto, y mi sillón rebosa con mis lágrimas.
7 My tears blur my eyes so much that I cannot see well. My eyes have become weak because my enemies [have caused me to cry constantly].
De tanto llorar no puedo casi ni ver. Mis ojos se debilitan por la agonía que me causan mis enemigos.
8 You people who do evil things, get away from me!
Déjenme en paz, pueblo que hace el mal. Porque el Señor ha escuchado mi llanto.
9 Yahweh heard me when I was crying and called out to him [to help me], and he will answer my prayer.
El Señor ha escuchado mi ruego de ayuda, y él responde mi oración.
10 [When that happens], all my enemies will be ashamed, and they will [also] be terrified. They will get away [from me] and suddenly [leave me] because they will be disgraced.
Todos los que me odian serán vencidos y aterrorizados con gran vergüenza, y huirán con gran humillación.
