Psalms 6
1 Yahweh, do not punish me when you are angry [with me]; Do not even rebuke/scold me [when you are angry].
Salmo de Davi para o regente, com instrumentos de cordas, uma harpa de oito cordas: SENHOR, não me repreendas na tua ira; e não me castigues em teu furor.
2 Yahweh, be kind to me and heal me because I have become weak. My body [SYN] shakes because I am experiencing much pain.
Tem misericórdia de mim, SENHOR; porque eu [estou] enfraquecido; cura-me, SENHOR, porque meus ossos estão afligidos.
3 Yahweh, I am greatly distressed. How long ([must I endure this/will it be before you help me]) [RHQ]?
Até minha alma está muito aflita; e tu, SENHOR, até quando?
4 Yahweh, please come and rescue me. Save me because you faithfully love me.
Volta, SENHOR; livra minha alma; salva-me por tua bondade.
5 I will not be able to praise you after I die [RHQ]; No one in the place of the dead praises you. (Sheol h7585)
Porque na morte não há lembrança de ti; no Xeol quem te louvará? (Sheol h7585)
6 I am exhausted/groan [from my pain]. At night I cry very much, with the result that my bed and my pillow become wet from my tears.
Já estou cansado do meu gemido; toda a noite eu inundo a minha cama; com minhas lágrimas molho meu leito.
7 My tears blur my eyes so much that I cannot see well. My eyes have become weak because my enemies [have caused me to cry constantly].
Meus olhos estão desolados de mágoa, [e] têm se envelhecido por causa de todos os meus adversários.
8 You people who do evil things, get away from me!
Sai para longe de mim, todos vós praticantes de maldade; porque o SENHOR já ouviu a voz do meu choro.
9 Yahweh heard me when I was crying and called out to him [to help me], and he will answer my prayer.
O SENHOR tem ouvido a minha súplica; o SENHOR aceitará a minha oração.
10 [When that happens], all my enemies will be ashamed, and they will [also] be terrified. They will get away [from me] and suddenly [leave me] because they will be disgraced.
Todos os meus inimigos se envergonharão e ficarão muito perturbados; voltarão para trás, [e] repentinamente se envergonharão.
