Psalms 6
1 Yahweh, do not punish me when you are angry [with me]; Do not even rebuke/scold me [when you are angry].
੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ: ਤਾਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ। ਖਰਜ਼ ਦੇ ਰਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਬਕਾ ਨਾ ਦੇ, ਨਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੇਜ ਕੋਪ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤਾੜ।
2 Yahweh, be kind to me and heal me because I have become weak. My body [SYN] shakes because I am experiencing much pain.
੨ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਕਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈ ਕੁਮਲਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਬੇਚੈਨ ਹਨ।
3 Yahweh, I am greatly distressed. How long ([must I endure this/will it be before you help me]) [RHQ]?
੩ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਵੀ ਅੱਤ ਘਬਰਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਕਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ?
4 Yahweh, please come and rescue me. Save me because you faithfully love me.
੪ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੁੜ ਆ, ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾ, ਆਪਣੀ ਦਯਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ,
5 I will not be able to praise you after I die [RHQ]; No one in the place of the dead praises you. (Sheol h7585)
੫ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਤੇਰਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ, ਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੌਣ ਤੇਰਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰੇਗਾ? (Sheol h7585)
6 I am exhausted/groan [from my pain]. At night I cry very much, with the result that my bed and my pillow become wet from my tears.
੬ਮੈਂ ਧਾਹਾਂ ਮਾਰਦਾ-ਮਾਰਦਾ ਥੱਕ ਗਿਆ, ਸਾਰੀ ਰਾਤ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਛਾਉਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਵਗਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਆਪਣੇ ਹੰਝੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੰਜਾ ਭਿਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
7 My tears blur my eyes so much that I cannot see well. My eyes have become weak because my enemies [have caused me to cry constantly].
੭ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਸੋਗ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਲ਼ ਗਈਆਂ, ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਚੁੰਨ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
8 You people who do evil things, get away from me!
੮ਹੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੁਕਰਮੀਓ, ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਓ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਰੋਣ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣ ਲਈ ਹੈ,
9 Yahweh heard me when I was crying and called out to him [to help me], and he will answer my prayer.
੯ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਸੁਣ ਲਈ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
10 [When that happens], all my enemies will be ashamed, and they will [also] be terrified. They will get away [from me] and suddenly [leave me] because they will be disgraced.
੧੦ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਲੱਜਿਆਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਤ ਵਿਆਕੁਲ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਮੁੜ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਲੱਜਿਆਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
