< Psalms 55 >
1 God, listen to my prayer, and do not turn away from me while I am pleading with you.
Pou direktè koral la; sou enstriman ak kòd yo Yon Refleksyon David Prete zòrèy a lapriyè mwen, O Bondye. Pa kache Ou menm a siplikasyon mwen yo.
2 Listen to me, and answer me, because I am overwhelmed by [all] my troubles.
Prete atansyon a mwen e reponn mwen. Mwen pa alèz nan plent mwen yo. Anverite, mwen deranje nèt
3 My enemies cause me to be terrified; wicked people oppress me. They cause me to have great troubles; they are angry with me, and they hate me.
akoz vwa lènmi an, akoz presyon mechan an. Paske yo pote twoub desann sou mwen. Nan kòlè yo, yo pote rankin kont mwen.
4 I am terrified, and I am very much afraid that I will die.
Kè m twouble anndan m. Sezisman lanmò fin tonbe sou mwen.
5 I am very fearful and I tremble/shake, and I am completely terrified.
Laperèz avèk tranbleman fin rive sou mwen. Mwen etone jiskaske m debòde.
6 I said, “I wish that I had wings like a dove! If I had wings, I would fly away and find a place to rest.
Mwen te di: “O ke m te gen zèl kon toutrèl la! Konsa, mwen ta sove ale pou twouve repo. Mwen ta demere nan dezè a.”
7 I would fly far away and live in the desert.
Tande byen, mwen ta rive byen lwen. Mwen ta ale rete nan savann nan. Tan
8 I would quickly find a shelter from [my enemies] [who are like] [MET] a strong wind and rainstorm.”
Mwen ta fè vit rive kote pou m kache kont van tanpèt la, kont move tan an.
9 Lord, confuse my enemies, and cause their plans to fail, because I see them acting violently and causing strife in the city [of Jerusalem].
Mete yo nan konfizyon, O SENYÈ, divize lang yo, paske mwen te wè vyolans avèk goumen nan vil la.
10 During [each] day and night they march around on top of its walls, committing crimes and causing trouble.
Lajounen kon lannwit, yo antoure vil la sou miray li yo. Inikite avèk mechanste nan mitan li.
11 They destroy [things] everywhere. They oppress and defraud [people] in the (marketplaces/public squares).
Destriksyon ladann. Opresyon avèk desepsyon pa janm kite lari li yo.
12 If it were an enemy who was making fun of me, I could endure it. If it were someone who hates me, who despises me, I could hide from him.
Paske se pa lènmi an ki fè m repwòch. Konsa, mwen ta kab sipòte l. Ni se pa yon moun ki rayi mwen ki vin leve kont mwen. Konsa, mwen ta kab kache de li.
13 But it is someone who is just like me, my companion, someone who was my friend [who is doing this to me].
Men se ou menm, yon nonm parèy mwen, konpanyen mwen ak zanmi mwen.
14 We previously had many good talks together; we walked around together in God’s temple.
Nou menm, ki te fè kominyon dous ansanm, ki te mache nan kay Bondye a nan mitan tout pèp la.
15 I desire/hope that my enemies will die suddenly; while they are still young, cause them to go down to the place where the dead people are. They they think evil things. (Sheol )
Pou sa a Kite lanmò rive sibitman sou yo. Kite yo desann tou vivan kote mò yo ye. Paske mechanste a nan abitasyon yo, pami yo, kote yo rete a. (Sheol )
16 But I [will] ask Yahweh, [my] God, to help me, and he will save me.
Pou mwen, mwen va rele Bondye. SENYÈ a va sove mwen.
17 [Each] morning and [each] noontime and [each] evening I tell him what I am concerned about, and I moan, and he hears my voice.
Nan aswè, nan maten ak midi, mwen va plenyen e bougonnen. Li va tande vwa m.
18 I have [very] many enemies, but he will rescue me and bring me back safely from the battles that I fight.
Li te rachte nanm mwen anpè, soti nan batay ki kont mwen an, malgre yo anpil, k ap lite avè m yo.
19 God is the one who has ruled everything forever, and he will listen to me. He will cause my enemies to be [defeated and] disgraced, because they do not change their evil behavior and they do not revere God.
Bondye ki sou fotèy L jis pou tout tan, va tande e reponn yo. Tan Nan (sila) pa gen chanjman an. Yo pa gen krent Bondye a.
20 My companion, [whom I mentioned previously], betrayed his friends and broke the agreement that he made with them.
Li te lonje men li kont moun ki te nan lapè avèk li a. Li te vyole akò li a.
21 What he said was [easy to listen to, like] butter [is easy to swallow] [MET], but in his inner being he hated people; his words were [soothing] like [olive] oil, [but they hurt people like] sharp swords do [MET].
Pawòl li te pi dous pase bè, men ak kè, li te fè lagè. Pawòl li yo te pi dous pase lwil, men se nepe rale yo te ye.
22 Put your troubles in Yahweh’s hands, and he will take care of you; he will never allow righteous [people] to experience disasters.
Voye fado ou sou SENYÈ a, e Li va bay ou soutyen. Li p ap janm kite moun ladwati yo ebranle.
23 God, you will cause murderers [MTY] and liars to die before they have lived half as long as they expect to live; but [as for me], I will trust in you.
Men Ou menm, O Bondye, va rale yo desann nan fòs destriksyon an. Moun ki vèse san e ki bay manti p ap rive fè mwatye nan jou yo. Men mwen menm va mete konfyans nan Ou.
