Psalms 54

1 God, by your power [MTY, DOU] save me [from my enemies], and show people that I have not done anything that is wrong!

੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਤਾਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਜਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਜ਼ੀਫੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਕੀ ਦਾਊਦ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁਕਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ?” ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰ!

2 God, listen to my prayer; listen to what I say to you,

੨ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸੁਣ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੰਨ ਲਾ,

3 because strangers are [trying to] attack me; proud men are wanting to kill me; men who do not have any (respect for/interest in) you.

੩ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਘਮੰਡੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਉੱਠੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਾਲਮ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਦੇ ਗਾਹਕ ਹੋਏ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਸਲਹ।

4 But God is the one who helps me; Yahweh defends/protects me [from my enemies].

੪ਵੇਖੋ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਦਾ ਸੰਭਾਲੂ ਹੈ।

5 He will cause the evil things that they want to do to me to happen to them instead; because he faithfully [does what he promises], he will get rid of them.

੫ਇਹ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਘਾਤੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੋੜ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਆਪਣੀ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾ ਦੇ!

6 Yahweh, I will gladly give an offering to you because I want to, and I will thank you [MTY], for you are good [to me];

੬ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਭਲਾ ਹੈ।

7 you have rescued me from all my troubles, and I have seen that you have defeated my enemies.

੭ਉਹ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਅੱਖ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੇਖ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ!
