Psalms 50
1 God, the all-powerful one, speaks; he summons all people, from the east to the west.
௧ஆசாபின் பாடல். வல்லமையுள்ள தேவனாகிய யெகோவா பேசினது, சூரியன் உதிக்கும்திசை தொடங்கி அது மறையும் திசைவரைக்குமுள்ள பூமியைக் கூப்பிடுகிறார்.
2 His glory shines from Zion [Hill in Jerusalem], an extremely beautiful city.
௨அழகுள்ள சீயோனிலிருந்து தேவன் பிரகாசிக்கிறார்.
3 Our God comes to us, and he is not silent. A great fire is in front of him, and a storm is around him.
௩நம்முடைய தேவன் வருவார், மவுனமாக இருக்கமாட்டார்; அவருக்கு முன்பு அக்கினி அழியும்; அவரைச் சுற்றிலும் மகா புயல் கொந்தளிப்பாக இருக்கும்.
4 He comes to judge his people. He shouts to the [angels in] heaven and to [the people on] the earth.
௪அவர் தம்முடைய மக்களை நியாயந்தீர்க்க உயர இருக்கும் வானங்களையும் பூமியையும் கூப்பிடுவார்.
5 He says, “Summon those who faithfully [worship] me, those who made an agreement with me by offering sacrifices to me.”
௫பலியினாலே என்னோடு உடன்படிக்கை செய்த என்னுடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களை என்னிடத்தில் கூட்டுங்கள் என்பார்.
6 The [angels in] heaven declare, “God is righteous, and he is the supreme judge.”
௬வானங்கள் அவருடைய நீதியை அறிவிக்கும்; தேவனே நியாயாதிபதி. (சேலா)
7 God says, “My people, listen! You Israeli people, listen, as I, your God, say what you have done that is wrong.
௭என்னுடைய மக்களே, கேள், நான் பேசுவேன்; இஸ்ரவேலே, உனக்கு விரோதமாகச் சாட்சி சொல்லுவேன்; நானே தேவன், உன்னுடைய தேவனாக இருக்கிறேன்.
8 I am not rebuking you for making sacrifices to me, for the offerings that you completely burn [on the altar].
௮உன்னுடைய பலிகளுக்காக உன்னைக் கடிந்துக்கொள்ளமாட்டேன்; உன்னுடைய தகனபலிகள் எப்போதும் எனக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிறது.
9 But I do not really need [you to sacrifice] the bulls from your barns and the goats from your pens,
௯உன்னுடைய வீட்டிலிருந்து காளைகளையும், உன்னுடைய தொழுவங்களிலிருந்து ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களையும் நான் வாங்கிக்கொள்வதில்லை.
10 because all the animals in the forest belong to me, [and all] the cattle on 1,000 hills also belong to me.
௧0எல்லா காட்டு உயிரினங்களும், மலைகளில் ஆயிரமாயிரமாகத் திரிகிற மிருகங்களும் என்னுடையவைகள்.
11 I [own and] know all the birds and all [the creatures] that move around in the fields.
௧௧மலைகளிலுள்ள பறவைகளையெல்லாம் அறிவேன்; வெளியில் நடமாடுகிறவைகளெல்லாம் என்னுடையவைகள்.
12 [So], if I were hungry, I would not tell you [to bring me some food], because everything in the world belongs to me!
௧௨நான் பசியாக இருந்தால் உனக்குச் சொல்லமாட்டேன்; பூமியும் அதின் நிறைவும் என்னுடையவைகளே.
13 I do not eat the flesh of the bulls [that you sacrifice], and I do not drink the blood of the goats [that you offer to me].
௧௩நான் எருதுகளின் இறைச்சியை சாப்பிட்டு, ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களின் இரத்தம் குடிப்பேனோ?
14 The sacrifice [that I really want is that] you thank me and do all that you have promised to do.
௧௪நீ தேவனுக்கு நன்றிபலியிட்டு, உன்னதமான தேவனுக்கு உன்னுடைய பொருத்தனைகளைச் செலுத்தி;
15 And pray to me when you have troubles. [If you do that], I will rescue you, and [then] you will praise me.
௧௫ஆபத்துக்காலத்தில் என்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடு; நான் உன்னை விடுவிப்பேன், நீ என்னை மகிமைப்படுத்துவாய்.
16 But I say this to the wicked people: (Why do you/It does not benefit you at all to) [RHQ] recite my commandments or talk about the agreement that I made with you,
௧௬தேவன் துன்மார்க்கனை நோக்கி: நீ என்னுடைய பிரமாணங்களை எடுத்துச்சொல்லவும், என்னுடைய உடன்படிக்கையை உன்னுடைய வாயினால் சொல்லவும், உனக்கு என்ன நியாயமுண்டு.
17 because you have refused to allow me to discipline you, and you have rejected what I told you to do.
௧௭அறிவுறுத்துதலை நீ பகைத்து, என்னுடைய வார்த்தைகளை உனக்குப் பின்னாக எறிந்துபோடுகிறாய்.
18 Every time that you see a thief, you become his friend, and you spend [much] time with those who commit adultery.
௧௮நீ திருடனைப் பார்க்கும்போது அவனோடு ஒருமித்துப்போகிறாய்; விபசாரரோடும் உனக்குப் பங்குண்டு.
19 You are [always] talking [MTY] about doing wicked things, and you are [always] to deceive people.
௧௯உன்னுடைய வாயைப் பொல்லாப்புக்குத் திறக்கிறாய், உன்னுடைய நாவு வஞ்சகத்தை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது.
20 You are always accusing members of your own family [of doing wrong], and slandering them.
௨0நீ உட்கார்ந்து உன்னுடைய சகோதரனுக்கு விரோதமாகப் பேசி, உன்னுடைய சொந்த சகோதரனுக்கு அவதூறு உண்டாக்குகிறாய்.
21 You did [all] those things, and I did not say anything to you, [so] you thought that I was [a sinner] just like you. But now I rebuke you and accuse you, right in front of you.
௨௧இவைகளை நீ செய்யும்போது நான் மவுனமாக இருந்தேன், உன்னைப்போல நானும் இருப்பேன் என்று நினைவு கொண்டாய்; ஆனாலும் நான் உன்னைக் கடிந்துகொண்டு, அவைகளை உன்னுடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக ஒவ்வொன்றாக நிறுத்துவேன்.
22 So, all you who have ignored me, pay attention to this, because if you do not, I will tear you to pieces, and there will be no one to rescue you.
௨௨தேவனை மறக்கிறவர்களே, இதைச் சிந்தித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; இல்லாவிட்டால் நான் உங்களைப் பீறிப்போடுவேன், ஒருவரும் உங்களை விடுவிப்பதில்லை.
23 The sacrifice that [truly] honors me is to thank me [for what I have done]; and I will save those who always do the things that I want them to.”
௨௩நன்றிபலி செலுத்துகிறவன் என்னை மகிமைப்படுத்துகிறான்; தன்னுடைய வழியைச் சரிசெய்கிறவனுக்கு தேவனுடைய இரட்சிப்பை வெளிப்படுத்துவேன் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்.
