Psalms 50
1 God, the all-powerful one, speaks; he summons all people, from the east to the west.
੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕੋਰਹ ਵੰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੇ ਚੜਦੇ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਲਹਿੰਦੇ ਤੱਕ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਿਆ ਹੈ।
2 His glory shines from Zion [Hill in Jerusalem], an extremely beautiful city.
੨ਸੀਯੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸੁਹੱਪਣ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਚਮਕਿਆ।
3 Our God comes to us, and he is not silent. A great fire is in front of him, and a storm is around him.
੩ਸਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਚੁੱਪ ਨਾ ਰਹੇ, ਅੱਗ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ-ਅੱਗੇ ਭਸਮ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰੀ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਗਦੀ ਹੈ!
4 He comes to judge his people. He shouts to the [angels in] heaven and to [the people on] the earth.
੪ਉਹ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਾਹਾਂ ਪੁਕਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ, ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇ।
5 He says, “Summon those who faithfully [worship] me, those who made an agreement with me by offering sacrifices to me.”
੫ਮੇਰੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰੋ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਨੇਮ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੈ।
6 The [angels in] heaven declare, “God is righteous, and he is the supreme judge.”
੬ਸਵਰਗ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਨਿਆਈਂ ਹੈ। ਸਲਹ।
7 God says, “My people, listen! You Israeli people, listen, as I, your God, say what you have done that is wrong.
੭ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ, ਸੁਣ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਬੋਲਾਂਗਾ, ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਾਖੀ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਹਾਂ!
8 I am not rebuking you for making sacrifices to me, for the offerings that you completely burn [on the altar].
੮ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਲੀਦਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਝਿੜਕਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹਨ।
9 But I do not really need [you to sacrifice] the bulls from your barns and the goats from your pens,
੯ਮੈਂ ਨਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਲ਼ਦ, ਨਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਾੜਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬੱਕਰੇ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ,
10 because all the animals in the forest belong to me, [and all] the cattle on 1,000 hills also belong to me.
੧੦ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਜੰਗਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਰਿੰਦੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਨ, ਨਾਲੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਡੰਗਰ।
11 I [own and] know all the birds and all [the creatures] that move around in the fields.
੧੧ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੰਖੇਰੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਨ।
12 [So], if I were hungry, I would not tell you [to bring me some food], because everything in the world belongs to me!
੧੨ਮੈਂ ਜੇ ਭੁੱਖਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਆਖਦਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਜਗਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਹੈ।
13 I do not eat the flesh of the bulls [that you sacrifice], and I do not drink the blood of the goats [that you offer to me].
੧੩ਭਲਾ, ਮੈਂ ਬਲ਼ਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਸ ਖਾਵਾਂ? ਜਾਂ ਬੱਕਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਤ ਪੀਵਾਂ?
14 The sacrifice [that I really want is that] you thank me and do all that you have promised to do.
੧੪ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਹੀ ਦਾ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ, ਅਤੇ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੁੱਖਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰ,
15 And pray to me when you have troubles. [If you do that], I will rescue you, and [then] you will praise me.
੧੫ਤਾਂ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ।
16 But I say this to the wicked people: (Why do you/It does not benefit you at all to) [RHQ] recite my commandments or talk about the agreement that I made with you,
੧੬ਪਰ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਉਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇਰਾ ਕੀ ਹੱਕ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਾਵੇਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰਾ ਨੇਮ ਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ?
17 because you have refused to allow me to discipline you, and you have rejected what I told you to do.
੧੭ਜਦੋਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤਾੜਨਾ ਬੁਰਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਸੁੱਟਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
18 Every time that you see a thief, you become his friend, and you spend [much] time with those who commit adultery.
੧੮ਜਦ ਤੂੰ ਚੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਲ ਗਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਵਿਭਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਹੋਇਆ!
19 You are [always] talking [MTY] about doing wicked things, and you are [always] to deceive people.
੧੯ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਲਈ ਖੋਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਸਨਾ ਧੋਖਾ ਘੜਦੀ ਹੈ।
20 You are always accusing members of your own family [of doing wrong], and slandering them.
੨੦ਤੂੰ ਬਹਿ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਆਪਣੇ ਸੱਕੇ ਭਰਾ ਦੀ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
21 You did [all] those things, and I did not say anything to you, [so] you thought that I was [a sinner] just like you. But now I rebuke you and accuse you, right in front of you.
੨੧ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਚੁੱਪ ਵੱਟ ਛੱਡੀ, ਤੂੰ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੀ ਠੀਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਝਿੜਕਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਾਵਾ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
22 So, all you who have ignored me, pay attention to this, because if you do not, I will tear you to pieces, and there will be no one to rescue you.
੨੨ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਾਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਚੋ, ਕਿਤੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਾੜ ਸੁੱਟਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਕੋਈ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
23 The sacrifice that [truly] honors me is to thank me [for what I have done]; and I will save those who always do the things that I want them to.”
੨੩ਜਿਹੜਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਦਾ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਚਾਲ ਸੁਧਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਵਿਖਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
