Psalms 50
1 God, the all-powerful one, speaks; he summons all people, from the east to the west.
सर्वशक्तिमान्, परमप्रभु परमेश्वर बोल्नुभएको छ, र पृथ्वीलाई सूर्योदयदेखि सूर्यास्तसम्म बलाउनुभएको छ ।
2 His glory shines from Zion [Hill in Jerusalem], an extremely beautiful city.
सुन्दरताको सिद्धता सियोनबाट परमेश्वर प्रज्वलित हुनुभएको छ ।
3 Our God comes to us, and he is not silent. A great fire is in front of him, and a storm is around him.
हाम्रो परमेश्वर आउनुहुन्छ र चूपचाप रहनुहुन्न । उहाँको अगि भस्म गर्ने आगो छ र उहाँको चारैतिर प्रचण्ड आँधी छ ।
4 He comes to judge his people. He shouts to the [angels in] heaven and to [the people on] the earth.
उहाँले माथिको आकाशलाई र पृथ्वीलाई बोउनुहुन्छ, ताकि उहाँले आफ्ना मानिसहरूको न्याय गर्न सक्नुहुन्छ ।
5 He says, “Summon those who faithfully [worship] me, those who made an agreement with me by offering sacrifices to me.”
“मेरा वोश्वासयोग्यहरूलाई मकहाँ भेला गराओ, जसले बलिदानद्वारा मसँग करार बाँधेका छन् ।”
6 The [angels in] heaven declare, “God is righteous, and he is the supreme judge.”
आकाशले उहाँको धार्मिकताको घोषणा गर्नेछ, किनकि परमेश्वर स्वयम् न्यायकर्ता हुनुहुन्छ । सेला
7 God says, “My people, listen! You Israeli people, listen, as I, your God, say what you have done that is wrong.
“ए मेरा मानिसहरू, सुन र म बोल्ने छु । म परमेश्वर, तेरो परमेश्वर हुँ ।
8 I am not rebuking you for making sacrifices to me, for the offerings that you completely burn [on the altar].
तिमीहरूका बलिदानको निम्ति म तिमीहरूलाई निन्दा गर्दिनँ, तिमीहरूका होमबलिहरू सदासर्वदा मेरो सामु छन् ।
9 But I do not really need [you to sacrifice] the bulls from your barns and the goats from your pens,
तिमीहरूका घरका कुनै साँढे वा तिमीहरूका बगालका बोकाहरू म लिनेछैन ।
10 because all the animals in the forest belong to me, [and all] the cattle on 1,000 hills also belong to me.
किनकि वनका हरेक पशु मेरै हुन् र हजारौं पहाडका गाइवस्तु मेरै हुन् ।
11 I [own and] know all the birds and all [the creatures] that move around in the fields.
पर्वतहरूका सबै चरालाई म चिन्छु र मैदानका जङ्गली पशुहरू मेरै हुन् ।
12 [So], if I were hungry, I would not tell you [to bring me some food], because everything in the world belongs to me!
म भोकाएको भए पनि, मैले तिमीहरूलाई भन्ने थिएनँ । किनकि संसार मेरै हो र यसमा भएका हरेक कुरा मेरै हुन् ।
13 I do not eat the flesh of the bulls [that you sacrifice], and I do not drink the blood of the goats [that you offer to me].
के म साँढेको मासु खानेछु वा बोकाको रगत पिउनेछु?
14 The sacrifice [that I really want is that] you thank me and do all that you have promised to do.
परमेश्वरलाई धन्यवादको बलि चढाओ र सर्वोच्चमा आफ्नो भाकल पुरा गर ।
15 And pray to me when you have troubles. [If you do that], I will rescue you, and [then] you will praise me.
कष्टको समय मलाई पुकारा गर । म तिमीहरूलाई बचाउनेछु र तिमीहरूले मेरो महिमा गर्नेछौ ।”
16 But I say this to the wicked people: (Why do you/It does not benefit you at all to) [RHQ] recite my commandments or talk about the agreement that I made with you,
तर दुष्टलाई परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “मेरा आदेशहरूका घोषणा गर्ने कुरा तँलाई के मतलब छ । तैंले मेरो करार तेरो मुखमा लिएको छस्,
17 because you have refused to allow me to discipline you, and you have rejected what I told you to do.
किनभने तैंले शिक्षालाई घृणा गर्छस् र मेरा वचनलाई लत्याउँछस्?
18 Every time that you see a thief, you become his friend, and you spend [much] time with those who commit adultery.
तैंले चोरलाई भेट्दा, त्योसँग तँ सहमत हुन्छस् । व्याभिचार गर्नेसँग तँ मिल्छस् ।
19 You are [always] talking [MTY] about doing wicked things, and you are [always] to deceive people.
तेरो मुखले खराबी बोल्छ र तेरो जिब्रोले छल गर्छ ।
20 You are always accusing members of your own family [of doing wrong], and slandering them.
तँ बस्छस् र तेरो भाइको विरुद्धमा बोल्छस् । आफ्नै आमाको छोराको निन्दा तैंले गर्छस् ।
21 You did [all] those things, and I did not say anything to you, [so] you thought that I was [a sinner] just like you. But now I rebuke you and accuse you, right in front of you.
तैंले यी कुराहरू गरेको छस्, तर म चूप लागेको छु । त्यसैले म पनि तँजस्तै हो भनी तैंले विचार गरिस् । तर म तेरो निन्दा गर्नेछु र तैंले गरेका सबै कुरा तेरै आँखाको सामु ल्याउनेछु ।
22 So, all you who have ignored me, pay attention to this, because if you do not, I will tear you to pieces, and there will be no one to rescue you.
हे परमेश्वरलाई बिर्सने हो, यसलाई राम्ररी विचार गर । नत्र म तिमीहरूलाई टुक्रा-टुक्रा पार्नेछु र तिमीहरूलाई सहायता गर्न आउने कोही पनि हुनेछैन ।
23 The sacrifice that [truly] honors me is to thank me [for what I have done]; and I will save those who always do the things that I want them to.”
धन्यवादको बलि चढाउनेले मेरो प्रशंसा गर्छ र आफ्नो मार्गलाई ठिक किसिमले योजना गर्ने कुनै पनि व्यक्तिलाई म परमेश्वरको उद्धार देखाउनेछु ।”
