Psalms 49
1 You people of all ethnic groups, listen! You people all over the world,
१मुख्य गायकासाठी कोरहाच्या मुलांचे स्तोत्र. सर्व लोकांनो, हे ऐका. जगाचे सर्व रहिवासी, तुम्ही हे ऐका.
2 important people and unimportant people, rich people and poor people, everyone, [listen to what I am saying],
२गरीब आणि श्रीमंत दोघेही, उच्च आणि नीच.
3 [because] what I am thinking is very sensible, and what I say will enable you to become wise!
३माझे मुख ज्ञान बोलेल, आणि माझ्या हृदयातील विचार समंजसपणाचे असणार.
4 I think about [MTY] (proverbs/wise sayings), and while I play my harp, I explain what they mean.
४मी दृष्टांताकडे आपले कान लावीन, मी आपली गोष्ट वीणे सोबत सुरु करणार.
5 I am not [RHQ] afraid when I am in trouble/danger, when I am surrounded by my enemies,
५संकटाच्या दिवसात, जेव्हा अन्याय माझ्या पायाला वेढा घालतो, तेव्हा मी कशाला घाबरू?
6 by evil men who trust that [things will always go well for them because] they are wealthy, and who boast about being very rich.
६जे आपल्या संपत्तीवर भरवसा ठेवतात, आणि आपल्या धनाच्या विपुलतेविषयी बढाई मारतात,
7 [They may be rich], but no one can pay money with the result that he would live forever! No one can pay God enough so that God will allow him [to continue] to live,
७त्यातील कोणीही आपल्या भावाला खंडून घेण्यास समर्थ नाही, किंवा त्याच्यासाठी देवाकडे खंडणी देववत नाही.
8 because that cost is too great, and he will never be able to pay enough
८कारण त्यांच्या जीवाची खंडणी महाग आहे, आणि तिची भरपाई करणे कधीच शक्य नाही.
9 with the result that he will live forever and never [die and] be buried!
९यासाठी की त्यांना सर्वकाळ जगावे, म्हणजे त्यांचे शरीर कुजणार नाही.
10 We see that foolish and stupid people die, but we see that wise people also die; they all leave their wealth, and others inherit it.
१०कारण सर्वजण बघतात की बुद्धीमान मरतो, मूर्ख आणि मतिमंद नष्ट होतो. आणि आपली संपत्ती इतरांसाठी सोडून जातात.
11 Those wise people once had [houses on] land that they owned, [but now] their graves are their homes forever, the place where they will stay for all time!
११त्यांच्या मनातील विचार हे असतात की, त्यांचे कुटूंब सर्वकाळ राहणार, आणि ज्या ठिकाणी ते राहतात ते पिढ्यानपिढ्या राहणार, ते आपल्या भूमीस आपले नाव देतात.
12 Even if people are great, that cannot prevent them from dying; all people die, the same as animals do.
१२परंतु संपत्ती असणारा मनुष्य सर्वकाळ राहत नाही, तो पशूसारखाच नाश होणारा आहे.
13 That is what happens to those who foolishly trust [in what they have accomplished], to those who are delighted in [all] that they possess.
१३हा त्यांचा मार्ग मुर्खपण आहे, तरी त्यांच्या मागे येणारे त्याचे असे म्हणजे मंजूर करतो.
14 They are certain to die just like sheep, when a shepherd leads them away to be slaughtered. [PRS, MET] In the morning righteous people will rule over them, and then [those wealthy people will die and] their bodies will quickly decay in their graves; they will be where dead people are, far from their homes. (Sheol h7585)
१४ते कळपाप्रमाणे नेमलेले आहेत, जे मृतलोकांत जातात. मरण त्यांचा मेंढपाळ आहे. सरळ त्यांच्यावर धनीपण करतील असे सामर्थ्य त्यांना असेल. (Sheol h7585)
15 But it is certain that God will rescue me so that I am not kept in the place of the dead. (Sheol h7585)
१५परंतु देव मृतलोकांच्या सामर्थ्यापासून माझा जीव खंडून घेणार. तो मला जवळ करणार. (Sheol h7585)
16 [So], do not be dismayed when someone becomes rich and the houses where they live become more and more luxurious,
१६जेव्हा कोणी श्रीमंत होतो आणि त्याच्या घराचे सामर्थ्य वाढते, तर तू भयभीत होऊ नको.
17 because when he dies, he will take nothing with him; his wealth will not go with him.
१७कारण तो मरेल तेव्हा काहीच सोबत घेऊन जाणार नाही. त्याचे सामर्थ्य त्याच्या मागे खाली उतरणार नाही.
18 While [a rich person] is alive, he congratulates himself, and people praise him for being successful,
१८जरी तो आपल्या जीवनात आपल्या जीवाला आशीर्वाद देत असेल, आणि तू आपल्यासाठी जगला असता मनुष्यांनी तुझी स्तुती केली.
19 but he will [die], joining his ancestors, who will never see daylight again.
१९तरी तो आपल्या वडिलांच्या पिढीकडे जाणार, ते कधीच प्रकाश पाहणार नाहीत.
20 Even if someone is great, that cannot prevent him from dying; he will die, the same as animals do.
२०ज्याकडे संपत्ती आहे, परंतु त्यास काही समजत नाही, तर तो नाश होणाऱ्या पशूसारखा आहे.
