< Psalms 47 >
1 You people all [over the world], clap your hands for joy! Shout joyfully to [praise] God!
Korah ƒe viwo ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la. Miƒo asikpe, mi dukɔwo katã. Mitso aseye ɖe Mawu ŋu kple ɣli.
2 Yahweh, who is much greater than any other god, is awesome; he is the king who rules over all the world!
Ŋɔdzi le Yehowa Dziƒoʋĩtɔ la ŋu ale gbegbe, eyae nye Fiagã ɖe anyigba la katã dzi!
3 He enabled us to defeat [the armies of] the people-groups [that lived in Canaan].
Ebɔbɔ dukɔwo ɖe mía te, eye wòtsɔ anyigbadzitɔwo de míaƒe afɔ te.
4 He chose for us this land where we now live; we Israeli people [MTY], whom he loves, are proud that we own this land.
Etia míaƒe domenyinu na mí si nye dada na Yakob, ame si wòlɔ̃. (Sela)
5 God has gone up [into his temple]. The people shouted joyfully and blew trumpets as Yahweh went up.
Mawu yi dzi kple aseyetsotso, Yehowa yi dzi kple kpẽ ƒe ɖiɖi.
6 Sing songs to praise our God! Sing to praise him [DOU]! Sing to God, our king!
Midzi kafukafuhawo na Mawu, midzi kafukafuhawo; midzi kafukafuhawo na míaƒe Fia la, midzi kafukafuhawo,
7 God is the one who rules over everything in the world; sing a psalm to him!
elabena Mawue nye Fia ɖe anyigba blibo la dzi, midzi kafukafuha nɛ.
8 God sits on his sacred throne as he rules over the people of [all] ethnic groups.
Mawu ɖu fia ɖe dukɔwo dzi. Mawu nɔ anyi ɖe eƒe fiazikpui kɔkɔe la dzi.
9 The rulers of those people-groups gather as God’s people, the people [descended] from Abraham, [do]. But God has more power than the weapons/shields [of all the kings] on the earth; (he is greatly honored/people honor him) everywhere.
Dukɔwo ƒe bubumewo ɖi anyi abe Abraham ƒe Mawu la ƒe amewo ene, elabena anyigbadzifiawo nye Mawu tɔ, elabena wodo eya amea ɖe dzi bobobo.
