Psalms 47

1 You people all [over the world], clap your hands for joy! Shout joyfully to [praise] God!

১প্রধান বাদ্যকরের জন্য। করোহ-সন্তানদের একটি গীত। তালি দাও তোমরা হাতে, তোমার সব লোকেরা; আনন্দস্বরে ঈশ্বরের উদ্দেশ্যে জয়ধ্বনি কর।

2 Yahweh, who is much greater than any other god, is awesome; he is the king who rules over all the world!

২কারণ সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভুু ভয়ঙ্কর; তিনি সমস্ত পৃথিবীর উপরে মহান রাজা।

3 He enabled us to defeat [the armies of] the people-groups [that lived in Canaan].

৩তিনি লোকেদেরকে আমাদের অধীনে করেন এবং জাতিদেরকে আমাদের পায়ের অধীনে করেন।

4 He chose for us this land where we now live; we Israeli people [MTY], whom he loves, are proud that we own this land.

৪তিনি আমাদের জন্য আমাদের উত্তরাধিকার মনোনীত করেন; তা যাকোবের মহিমা যাকে তিনি ভালবাসতেন। (সেলা)

5 God has gone up [into his temple]. The people shouted joyfully and blew trumpets as Yahweh went up.

৫ঈশ্বরের আনন্দে জয়ধ্বনি কর, সদাপ্রভুুর তূরীর শব্দের সঙ্গে।

6 Sing songs to praise our God! Sing to praise him [DOU]! Sing to God, our king!

৬ঈশ্বরের উদ্দেশ্যে প্রশংসা গান গাও, স্তব কর; আমাদের রাজার উদ্দেশ্যে প্রশংসা গান কর, স্তব কর।

7 God is the one who rules over everything in the world; sing a psalm to him!

৭কারণ ঈশ্বরই সমস্ত পৃথিবীর উপরের রাজা; বুদ্ধির সাথে স্তব কর।

8 God sits on his sacred throne as he rules over the people of [all] ethnic groups.

৮ঈশ্বর জাতিদের উপরে রাজত্ব করেন; ঈশ্বর তাঁর পবিত্র সিংহাসনে বসেন।

9 The rulers of those people-groups gather as God’s people, the people [descended] from Abraham, [do]. But God has more power than the weapons/shields [of all the kings] on the earth; (he is greatly honored/people honor him) everywhere.

৯জাতিদের নেতারা একত্রিত হল, আব্রাহামের ঈশ্বরের জাতির উদ্দেশ্যে; কারণ পৃথিবীর ঢালগুলো ঈশ্বরের; তিনি অতিশয় উন্নত হয়।
